Once my dress was shipped, she sent me photos and details of the shipping, tracking, courier, insurance etc., and I was able to let her know when my gown arrived safely (and thank her!). I'm a British buyer and was purchasing from the USA, so of course I got stung for import duties and customs fees etc. to the tune of about £240 on a £700 dress, but I had totally anticipated this. I still made a big saving, as the dress would have been around £1600 to buy new in the UK (if it was still available, and if I could find one in my size), and the dress I bought on Stillwhite was brand new with tags still attached. I guess I won't be using Stillwhite again as a wedding will hopefully be a once-in-a-lifetime event(!), but if you're a bride-to-be looking for a bargain, something unique, vintage, or unavailable in your country, I'd highly recommend you give them a try. :-)

After many frustrating conversations with PayPal they asked for a third party opinion and said in the meantime to put in a claim with my credit card company. When I contacted them with the third party opinion, they said I was no longer under their protection since I put in the claim with my credit card company. I submitted all the information they asked for within a timely manner, all for them to suggest something that dropped their protection. I made Stillwhite aware of this situation and they were unwilling to help. Although Stillwhite makes it seem as though you will be protected if something goes wrong, you will not be. I am writing this so no other bride has to go through this. I have never written a bad review in my life but I am beyond frustrated. I would never buy another dress from this site!
