Jaclyn was communicative and willing to pivot with changes to both the hair/makeup styles as well as location to meet on the day of. We had makeup done for the bride + mother of the bride + mother of the groom. All three ladies were fairly minimalist, but everyone felt beautiful and like themselves on the wedding day! Thanks Jaclyn!
Jaclyn was so wonderful to work with. She did my hair & makeup for our engagement photos and then again for our wedding reception. Both times I absolutely loved my hair and makeup and so did my other ladies. I would absolutely recommend and I plan on booking with her again anytime I need hair or makeup done!
Jaclyn was fantastic! She made sure she had enough hair and makeup artists to fit our group which helped everything run smoothly! I loved my hair and makeup for my wedding day, and my mom and bridesmaids did too! Jaclyn even stayed later than she had scheduled to help me put my veil in which I was so grateful for.
I am obsessed with the look Jaclyn created for me for my wedding! Right from my trial I knew I had hired the right team. I had some basic ideas and inspiration photos for the look I wanted, and Jaclyn took the time to ask questions on if I normally wore lighter or darker makeup, how my hair and skin typically behaved, etc. I’m not great with my own hair and makeup so I’m really glad Jaclyn was able to take a few of my inspiration photos and sort of “merge” them into what we thought might work best for me. It all came together beautifully and I was so pleased with the final result. She even helped me decide on a good placement for a few decorative hair pins I wanted to wear along with my veil. I’m indecisive by nature so it was really helpful for me to have a professional’s opinion on everything, while also listening to what I wanted and needed. Wedding day hair and makeup went exactly as planned. Jaclyn & her team showed up on time, with all the right equipment and kept us on schedule. Myself, my mom and all 8 of my bridesmaids felt and looked so beautiful! I’ve had my hair & makeup professionally done for several other weddings I’ve been in and while I liked most of those looks, and I can honestly say Jaclyn’s work was my favorite! It fit perfectly with my complexion, eye color, face shape and everything. I have never felt more beautiful that I did that day. AND I have to mention that my wedding was in mid August, on a 90 degree+ day with an outdoor ceremony & photos, and my hair and makeup stayed almost completely perfect until the end of the night, even though I was sweating my butt off at certain points throughout the day. Long story short, hire STL Looks. You won’t be disappointed!

Jaclyn and her assistant did an amazing job on hair and make up for myself, my mom, and my bridesmaids! Everyone was happy and looked great in the pictures! My hair doesn’t hold curl well but I really wanted to wear it down for my wedding day. After 2 trials, the curls weren’t holding as long as I needed them to. Jaclyn came up with a solution for wedding day! My curls stayed all day and throughout the night! Thank you Jaclyn!!

The STLooks team was amazing! I was able to hold a hair and makeup trial prior to my big day to make sure we were on the same page with my dream look. Jaclyn was a great communicator for all the logistics of my day. The bridal team showed up at our hotel and made my bridal party and myself feel so beautiful. Their hair and makeup styles are the perfect mix of classic and trendy… no spiral banana curls here! I also felt their pricing was very fair for the “product”. I would highly recommend the STLooks team for your wedding!
Jaclyn at STLooks did my hair, my mom's hair, and my sister's hair for my wedding on April 30, 2022. Jaclyn was so professional and kind. She listened to exactly what we each wanted, and everyone was so happy with their results. She did a trial of my hair a few months out which was great and allowed me to not worry when it came to the big day. She also had a wonderful waiting area in her salon where we could hang out while the other person was getting their hair done and she provided us with some snacks and mimosas which was really going above and beyond. She got all of us in and out in about 2 hours which is just what we had planned, causing no delays in our getting ready schedule. Jaclyn was so wonderful and I absolutely recommend her for your wedding hair needs!
Jaclyn and her team did an amazing job! I got so many complements on my make-up/hair as well as the bridal party’s. Jaclyn was extremely easy to work with and was a good communicator. She went the extra mile with my externally thick hair and got to the church an hour earlier that we planned to make sure my hair looked fantastic for my wedding day. I could not recommend her and her team enough!
Jaclyn and her team did an AMAZING job!! They were quick and efficient. Had 11 people and only took them 4 hours and everyone turned out GORGEOUS!! Plus their pricing is SO reasonable!! I can not recommend STLooks enough!!

Jaclyn and her team did an amazing job with our bridal party! Very easy to communicate with, especially during covid reschedules, always with kindness and professionalism. Our hair and makeup all turned out better than we could have imagined. Our group was all done with plenty of time to spare and we all enjoyed relaxing in the salon for a few extra minutes before our transportation arrived :-)
Makeup was absolutely gorgeous!!!! I couldn’t have picked anyone better to do my makeup for my wedding day. Jaclyn was very easy to reach and communication was great. She got everyone ready on time with time to spare!

Jaclyn and her team were AMAZING. I had over ten girls getting ready the morning of my wedding and they were able to get everyone done in plenty of time, with no rush. I felt so confident that they would do an amazing job, and they did more than that. I had them come to the house that we were getting ready at and they were on time and prepared with all of their hair and makeup supplies. I truly could not have asked for a better team to help get me and my girls ready for the big day.
I was nervous to choose hair and makeup based on the knot reviews without any personal experience but I’m super glad I found Jaclyn and Brittany and the Stlooks team! They did hair and makeup for my six bridesmaids, my mom and me and hair for our 4year old flower girl and we were all really happy with how we looked! Brittany did a beautiful job on my bridal hair and makeup. Pricing was on par with all of the other quotes I received but Jaclyn was quick to respond with answers to all of my questions before hiring her and in the weeks leading up to the wedding. This was the aspect of planning I was most nervous about since I didn’t know anyone else who had worked with her and hair and makeup needs to last all day and night. All of our looks were still flawless at the end of the night and the whole team was amazing.

Jaclyn Retherford and her team did a FABULOUS job for my daughter's wedding in Sep 2020. They took care of the hair and make up for our 5 bridesmaids, our junior bridesmaid (hair), our flower girl (hair), mothers of bride & groom, grandmothers of bride and groom and a family friend. Jaclyn was so kind to allow us to add additional services last minute and patiently answered our numerous questions. She and her entire team arrived on-time and didn't leave until everyone was finished and completely satisfied. The atmosphere in the suite was light hearted and fun...lots of talking and laughter between the STLooks team, wedding party and our female family members. Everyone was completely happy with the job Jaclyn and her team did and felt their pricing was reasonable. We HIGHLY recommend STLooks!
I wish I could give Jaclyn more than 5 stars, because I couldn’t have been happier with my hair and makeup! I last minute wanted a different hair style than we did on our trial, and she executed it to perfection!

Jaclyn traveled to Grafton, IL to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day, and she did an amazing job! My hair and makeup stayed in pristine condition for 12 hours in the June heat! I couldn't have asked for anything better. Jaclyn is amazing, and I completely recommend her to anyone looking for a hair and makeup duo package. :)

I had two wonderful hair stylists do hair for 9 ladies for my wedding on 9/21! Both ladies were efficient and created beautiful styles in under 3 hours which was absolutely impressive! We received many compliments from guests on the hair styles and they lasted all night long! I will absolutely recommend the ladies at STLooks to anyone looking for wonderful hair stylists!
Jaclyn and her team are seriously incredible!! I came to her with a specific Princess Leia look in mind and she was able to recreate it so well! I let my bridesmaids choose how they wanted their hair and they all looked amazing. Jaclyn also did my makeup and totally nailed it. And to top it all off, she served us donuts and mimosas while we were getting our looks together at her salon. I couldn't have asked for a better stylist!
Jaclyn did an amazing job on my hair and makeup and my bridal parties' hair and makeup. She really listens to what you want and makes sure you are comfortable and satisfied with the end result. The products she uses are also high quality and stay on! I showed her a few photos of what I was looking for and she executed it flawlessly! Super convenient that she came to our hotel room where we were getting ready to do our hair and makeup. That made the day so smooth!
Jaclyn is amazing at makeup! Her team did a great job at hair. They worked quickly and were able to get all 9 people done in 2-3 hours and we all looked great! They are very easy to work with and reasonably priced! I was very impressed with them!
aclyn and her team were great! They came to my hotel room in downtown St. Louis and did hair and makeup for me and my 8 bridesmaids and hair for my mom and my mother-on-law! Everyone was done and double checked in 4 hours. They made sure that everyone was happy with their hair and makeup and checked everyone and re-sprayed as needed before they left.
Booking hair and makeup was one of the tougher vendors for me to find, but I highly recommend STLooks. My hair and makeup were still in tact when I left the reception after 11 PM that night!
They let me FaceTime friends who couldn’t come while getting my hair done, dealt with us spilling champagne and struggling to get the music to work at 7 AM. I got to keep the lip gloss they used on me so I could touch up throughout the day.
The hair and makeup trial was perfect. I was dealing with acne and scarring at the time, and Jaclyn made sure to help cover everything up and that I felt comfortable with how my face looked.
On top of everything- the team was just really nice throughout the entire process to work with and hang out with the day of!
Jaclyn is incredible!! She was so great /super helpful during my trials and she was on her A game on the big day! She and Tara traveled to the venue and knocked out 9 girls in no time!! They were wonderful to work with! I highly recommend this group!

We used STLooks for my wedding and overall we were very happy with their services. They were very easy to get along with did not complain when my videographer/photographer needed to turn on and off the lights for their photos as we were getting ready. The only complaint is that I felt my hair looked better during my trial than the day of the wedding, but overall I was very happy with how it looked and my makeup was perfect. They are a little more expensive than other vendors I researched, but in my opinion worth it.

I don't wear makeup very often so I was a little nervous about the makeup for my wedding. Jaclyn did makeup for my mom and I and it was fantastic! The makeup lasted all night and looked beautiful. I highly recommend going to STLooks for any special occasion makeup!
I booked STLooks for my 10 bridesmaids and MOG. Jaclyn was very easy to text and email with to answer all of my questions along the way! The whole team was professional and did a fabulous job on all of my girls. The girls got to choose if they wanted airbrush or mineral foundation, whatever they were most comfortable doing.
All of my bridesmaids looked great and felt great, which is sometimes hard with all of the extra makeup and hairspray on wedding day.
Most importantly, our hair and make-up was even done EARLY! We had time to hand out, relax and chat.
Jaclyn was out on maternity leave, but her entire team did an AMAZING job for my wedding and she stayed in contact with me all summer before the big day. Everyone in the wedding party loved their hair and makeup. The makeup lasted all day. Special shout out to Sarah Grayem for killing my bridal hairstyle :).
We got married on 5/12/18 and Jaclyn and her team did our hair. I could not recommend them more! I was very indecisive about what I wanted leading up to the wedding and Jaclyn remained extremely supportive and patient and in the end gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. :) All of my bridesmaids looks amazing and were so happy with their looks. If I could go back and do it again I would choose them without a doubt! Thank you so much for everything!!!!!

My hair and makeup looked absolutely stunning! I loved all the makeup and hair of the bridesmaids as well. All the girls were fun and talked and laughed with us the morning we got ready. They did a good job working with lots of different hair types and everything turned out perfect.
Jaclyn was fantastic! She traveled to our hotel and was able to do hair and makeup for three bridesmaids, myself, and two moms on the morning of in about 4 hours with a helper. She was also kind enough to squeeze in our anxious flower girl. All of the makeup looked natural. I had a side braid that was a little tough but with the help of extensions and a trial, Jaclyn was on her game on our wedding day!
Makeup looked beautiful and lasted all day. My hair just doesn't hold curls very long but the hairstyle itself was amazing. I felt so confident and beautiful the day of. They let us get ready entirely in the salon because of our short timeline for the day. I took one star away because they did not tell us before hand that we had to pay with a check or cash only the day of. Very few girls in the group had their checkbook or had that much cash on them. Some girls had to run to the bank. If that didn't happen; they'd have 5 stars.
I had my wedding in July and Jaclyn and her team did a great job. My bridesmaids, mothers, flower girls and I all loved our hair. Our makeup was top notch and they made us all feel beautiful for the big day!!!
Getting ready for daughter's upcoming wedding with a fabulous facial, then color and wax of the brows. One of the most relaxing hours I have spent leading up to the big day!

The up-do's for the girls were exactly what each one wanted and done in a very timely fashion. The team was fantastic at at multitasking and stayed right on track therefore no one was rushed. I still to this day get compliments on myself and my bridal party's make-up and hair when others see how picture perfect it was! I can't recommend Jaclyn and her team enough... I’m so happy we went with STLooks. They travelled to Silver Oaks to do my hair and makeup plus my bridal party and both moms. They were up-front with the costs, and they brought enough stylists to keep us on schedule. All of us ladies looked our absolute best, and our styles lasted all day. We each received multiple compliments, and I felt how every bride wants to feel on her wedding day.
I've known Jaclyn for awhile now and knew as soon as I got engaged I had to book her! This was the best decision I made for our wedding.
