Jaclyn was communicative and willing to pivot with changes to both the hair/makeup styles as well as location to meet on the day of. We had makeup done for the bride + mother of th...
e bride + mother of the groom. All three ladies were fairly minimalist, but everyone felt beautiful and like themselves on the wedding day! Thanks Jaclyn!
I'm waiting on photos but I had to write this review. She did an AMAZING job. My makeup withstood Missouri humidity and completely hid the fact that I was melting in the sun. My la...
shes were solid until the end of the night and nothing budged an inch while still looking natural and romantic. She perfectly captured what I was looking for (natural glam) when I hardly knew how to explain it. She did an amazing job and I plan on attaching a photo once I get them back.
Jaclyn was so wonderful to work with. She did my hair & makeup for our engagement photos and then again for our wedding reception. Both times I absolutely loved my hair and makeup ...
and so did my other ladies. I would absolutely recommend and I plan on booking with her again anytime I need hair or makeup done!
Jaclyn was fantastic! She made sure she had enough hair and makeup artists to fit our group which helped everything run smoothly! I loved my hair and makeup for my wedding day, and...
my mom and bridesmaids did too! Jaclyn even stayed later than she had scheduled to help me put my veil in which I was so grateful for.
I am obsessed with the look Jaclyn created for me for my wedding! Right from my trial I knew I had hired the right team. I had some basic ideas and inspiration photos for the look ...
I wanted, and Jaclyn took the time to ask questions on if I normally wore lighter or darker makeup, how my hair and skin typically behaved, etc. I’m not great with my own hair and makeup so I’m really glad Jaclyn was able to take a few of my inspiration photos and sort of “merge” them into what we thought might work best for me. It all came together beautifully and I was so pleased with the final result. She even helped me decide on a good placement for a few decorative hair pins I wanted to wear along with my veil. I’m indecisive by nature so it was really helpful for me to have a professional’s opinion on everything, while also listening to what I wanted and needed. Wedding day hair and makeup went exactly as planned. Jaclyn & her team showed up on time, with all the right equipment and kept us on schedule. Myself, my mom and all 8 of my bridesmaids felt and looked so beautiful! I’ve had my hair & makeup professionally done for several other weddings I’ve been in and while I liked most of those looks, and I can honestly say Jaclyn’s work was my favorite! It fit perfectly with my complexion, eye color, face shape and everything. I have never felt more beautiful that I did that day. AND I have to mention that my wedding was in mid August, on a 90 degree+ day with an outdoor ceremony & photos, and my hair and makeup stayed almost completely perfect until the end of the night, even though I was sweating my butt off at certain points throughout the day. Long story short, hire STL Looks. You won’t be disappointed!
Jaclyn was so sweet! My hair and makeup looked amazing and lasted all day. Her prices are also very affordable! Highly recommend.

rl well but I really wanted to wear it down for my wedding day. After 2 trials, the curls weren’t holding as long as I needed them to. Jaclyn came up with a solution for wedding day! My curls stayed all day and throughout the night! Thank you Jaclyn!!
Jaclyn did my wedding hair and makeup back in September. Everything turned out great! Jaclyn was so flexible and accommodating and all my girls looked amazing!

or for all the logistics of my day. The bridal team showed up at our hotel and made my bridal party and myself feel so beautiful. Their hair and makeup styles are the perfect mix of classic and trendy… no spiral banana curls here! I also felt their pricing was very fair for the “product”. I would highly recommend the STLooks team for your wedding!
Jaclyn at STLooks did my hair, my mom's hair, and my sister's hair for my wedding on April 30, 2022. Jaclyn was so professional and kind. She listened to exactly what we each wante...
d, and everyone was so happy with their results. She did a trial of my hair a few months out which was great and allowed me to not worry when it came to the big day. She also had a wonderful waiting area in her salon where we could hang out while the other person was getting their hair done and she provided us with some snacks and mimosas which was really going above and beyond. She got all of us in and out in about 2 hours which is just what we had planned, causing no delays in our getting ready schedule. Jaclyn was so wonderful and I absolutely recommend her for your wedding hair needs!

nfident that they would do an amazing job, and they did more than that. I had them come to the house that we were getting ready at and they were on time and prepared with all of their hair and makeup supplies. I truly could not have asked for a better team to help get me and my girls ready for the big day.

and makeup for my six bridesmaids, my mom and me and hair for our 4year old flower girl and we were all really happy with how we looked! Brittany did a beautiful job on my bridal hair and makeup. Pricing was on par with all of the other quotes I received but Jaclyn was quick to respond with answers to all of my questions before hiring her and in the weeks leading up to the wedding. This was the aspect of planning I was most nervous about since I didn’t know anyone else who had worked with her and hair and makeup needs to last all day and night. All of our looks were still flawless at the end of the night and the whole team was amazing.
Jaclyn Retherford and her team did an amazing job for my wedding! All of my bridesmaids have commented how they loved their hair and their makeup was bright and beautiful. I would ...
100% recommend STLooks to all St. Louis future brides.

), our flower girl (hair), mothers of bride & groom, grandmothers of bride and groom and a family friend. Jaclyn was so kind to allow us to add additional services last minute and patiently answered our numerous questions. She and her entire team arrived on-time and didn't leave until everyone was finished and completely satisfied. The atmosphere in the suite was light hearted and fun...lots of talking and laughter between the STLooks team, wedding party and our female family members. Everyone was completely happy with the job Jaclyn and her team did and felt their pricing was reasonable. We HIGHLY recommend STLooks!

Booking hair and makeup was one of the tougher vendors for me to find, but I highly recommend STLooks. My hair and makeup were still in tact when I left the reception after 11 PM that night!
They let me FaceTime friends who couldn’t come while getting my hair done, dealt with us spilling champagne and struggling to get the music to work at 7 AM. I got to keep the lip gloss they used on me so I could touch up throughout the day.
The hair and makeup trial was perfect. I was dealing with acne and scarring at the time, and Jaclyn made sure to help cover everything up and that I felt comfortable with how my face looked.
On top of everything- the team was just really nice throughout the entire process to work with and hang out with the day of!

We used STLooks for my wedding and overall we were very happy with their services. They were very easy to get along with did not complain when my videographer/photographer needed ...
to turn on and off the lights for their photos as we were getting ready. The only complaint is that I felt my hair looked better during my trial than the day of the wedding, but overall I was very happy with how it looked and my makeup was perfect. They are a little more expensive than other vendors I researched, but in my opinion worth it.
Jaclyn and her team are amazing! They did all of our hair and makeup on site and were so friendly and wonderful.

All of my bridesmaids looked great and felt great, which is sometimes hard with all of the extra makeup and hairspray on wedding day.
Most importantly, our hair and make-up was even done EARLY! We had time to hand out, relax and chat.

was also kind enough to squeeze in our anxious flower girl. All of the makeup looked natural. I had a side braid that was a little tough but with the help of extensions and a trial, Jaclyn was on her game on our wedding day!

et us get ready entirely in the salon because of our short timeline for the day. I took one star away because they did not tell us before hand that we had to pay with a check or cash only the day of. Very few girls in the group had their checkbook or had that much cash on them. Some girls had to run to the bank. If that didn't happen; they'd have 5 stars.
