When we went for our tasting, my mother (mob) preferred a different entree to the one we ultimately chose, and John made careful note of this fact. One of my favorite moments at the reception was during dinner when my mom came up to me and excitedly said “They made me my own plate with the entree I loved!” This personal touch and commitment to going above and beyond the required service contract truly made our day the best it could be. The food was delicious, the service fantastic, and the guidance along the way was invaluable. Thank you to John and everyone at Stock’s On 2nd for an amazing day!

d selected a cheese and cracker plate, sausage and mustard, and shrimp dip on bread as our hors d'oeuvres. I believe the crowd favorite was unanimously the shrimp dip. After being announced and the first dance, we sat down at our sweetheart table, and what do you know, more shrimp dip on our table! Next came our mixed greens salad with a champagne vinaigrette. Which was so yummy. Last were the entrees. Tyler got the flatiron steak with a red wine reduction, and I ordered the chicken with red pepper coulis and goat cheese. Our sides were green beans and Tyler's favorite, mashed potatoes. Tyler and I shares our plates, which were both absolutely amazing. The staff was wonderful - very friendly and kind. Tyler and I decided to stay at the manor, and as an added surprise were served breakfast in the morning: blueberry pancakes, breakfast sausage, yogurt, granola, and fruit. A true smorgasbord. I would highly recommend Stock's on 2nd as your cater for your wedding. I am sure that they will help make the day simply perfect.
