quality of the food and drinks — both in a positive direction. The food was every bit as good as our tasting and was exactly the same quality as the summer nights food at Stone Acres. We were extremely impressed because cooking food for that many people with fast turnaround times seems extremely difficult — but they pulled it off! That included incredibly sensitive dishes like scallops, which are temperamental and have to be cooked for a very exact time period, but they totally nailed the cook on the scallops for every guest. A number of folks told us it was the best food they'd had at a wedding. They went above and beyond at every turn. For example, we asked if they could serve a very specific hibiscus and gin cocktail that we made for friends from time to time, and they replicated it perfectly (even making homemade hibiscus syrup and edible flowers to add to the drinks). We cannot sing their praises enough!!

Our day-of coordinator was amazing — calm, cool, and collected — and made sure every detail was managed seamlessly. The catering by 85th Day was exceptional; everything we dreamed of came to life perfectly, and we’re still hearing from guests that it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended!

roperty is also maintained to perfection. The fact that there were butterflies and hummingbirds flying around during our ceremony was magical. We also loved how there are options on where to have each event throughout the day so guests get to move throughout the beautiful landscape. In addition, it’s a huge bonus that they allow your bridal parties to get ready on property starting at 9AM, as many other venues won’t let you onsite until a few hours before the event. All in all, if you have your wedding, or any event, at Stone Acres Farm, your day will be filled with ease, joy, and an amazing staff.

The garden where the ceremony is hosted is a beautifully tended to, not to mention the adjacent garden. Then there are so many other gorgeous places to take photos, whether it’s the greenhouse or the fields, you can’t go wrong! The Manor House is also such a historic and beautifully New England setting to get ready in. Each of our guests said it was one of the most beautiful venues they’d been to as guests!
Everyone we worked with including Marlena, Jane, and Margaret were so kind and thoughtful. I didn’t worry about one detail the weekend of, and that is thanks to them and our amazing vendor team! We will visit Stone Acres for years to come to pick up farm goodies, ice cream, and stroll around and think back to our beautiful wedding weekend there.

The morning of our wedding day was rainy, and the SAF team made sure we were prepared with a rain plan; but when the weather held out they also helped pivot so that we could still get married in the garden! They even helped protect some of our decor from the rain to make sure it looked perfect for our guests. The beauty of Stone Acres speaks for itself, but we will never be able to thank the team enough for how special they made us feel and how perfect they made our wedding day! The staff at Stone Acres truly cared about making our day perfect and it didn't go unnoticed that they went above and beyond for us. We knew we were in good hands and were able to actually relax once the big day arrived. We had our ceremony in the garden and our reception under a tent in the fields. My grandmother referred to the location of our wedding like a fairytale, she was in awe with how beautiful it all was. I highly recommend this venue for all you future brides!
