Stone Cliff Winery did an amazing job on both our wedding ceremony and reception. Jodi was very easy to communicate with and make sure our vision for our wedding was exactly what w...
e wanted. She worked directly with our caterer to make sure everything went smoothly, and that we only had one bill by the end of the event. We originally planned for our wedding to be outdoors, but due to the weather that day we needed to move indoors. Jodi kept us ahead of the weather to make sure we were prepared. They took care of the set up of the reception which made our decorating so much easier. They set up the ceremony, tore down, and reset for the reception very quickly and efficiently. She checked in on us throughout the day to make sure everything was going well and we were happy. After dinner the tear down of a few tables to make space for the dance floor went very smoothly as well. If you're looking for the rustic, winery, and slightly contemporary feel (the lights inside the area are beautiful!) then I can't recommend Stone Cliff enough!
We loved our wedding at Stone Cliff. We had both the ceremony and reception there in the same room. Jodi makes it all so easy and really does try to make it a one stop shop. Everyt...
hing was gorgeous and elegant and everyone was professional. She even quickly mailed us some items we forgot. I would definitely recommend and all our guests loved the venue as well!
I can not say enough wonderful things about Stone Cliff Winery and their staff. I recently had my rehearsal dinner and wedding at Stone Cliff and, as cliche as it may sound, had th...
e wedding of my dreams. Jodi and the rest of the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Jodi, the coordinator, always communicated with me and responded in a timely manner to any questions/ideas/comments/concerns and provided me with great insight. Shortly after booking, Jodi provided us with vendor information (which was very helpful since we were an out-of-town couple) as well as communicated directly with our caterer and other vendors. The venue itself is unique and gorgeous, both on the inside and out. We had our ceremony outside on the amphitheater - with the bridge and flowering trees in the background, and the Mississippi River just over the hill (all of which made for amazing pictures). The reception was held inside and accommodated our ~160 people comfortably and is beautifully decorated with lights, wine barrels, artwork, and exposed bricks. How can such a gorgeous venue ALSO be affordable?? I would recommend Stone Cliff to any couple looking for their perfect wedding venue!
Jodi at Stone Cliff has been amazing from start to finish. She is quick to respond if I have a question or concern and she is always on top of anything I bring to the table. She ma...
de me (a Type A personality) feel relaxed about our wedding venue and that I could trust her.
Stone Cliff itself is such a beautiful place and unique to many other weddings we've been to in Dubuque. It allows us to still be right on the Mississippi River while creating something magical inside Stone Cliff and out on the pavilion. We couldn't be happier with our choice!
Amazing location in downtown Dubuque. Exposed brick walls practally decorate the place themselves. Close to hotels and attractions. Very easy to contact, and bounce ideas off of.
We held our wedding reception at Stone Cliff Winery this past September, and could not have asked for a better experience! Jodi was so incredibly helpful throughout the entire proc...
ess, and made sure everything went smoothly. This is a gorgeous space with tons of great character, and the fact that Stone Cliff grew the grapes and created the wines for our wedding made the whole experience absolutely amazing! Jodi and the other ladies taking care of everything were just spectacular - they made our wedding beautiful, special and totally stress-free. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much, Stone Cliff Winery!!!
Stone Cliff is an amazing venue for smaller weddings! It's beautiful! We had an outdoor wedding but were able to set-up the reception to make it work for the wedding as well if i...
t happened to rain! My only complaint would be that it takes awhile for them to return emails at times but if it's been awhile and you call you can usually get through and talk to somebody!
A really good place for a rehearsal dinner. They had a great atmosphere. Everyone had a great time and the wine was great.
Stone Cliff Winery was exactly what I was looking for in a wedding venue. Outside space for the ceremony rustic inside space with exposed brick and historic features for the dinner...
/reception, outdoor space for an additional tent, a large hotel right next door and a casion across the street for those who wanted to keep the party going. I didn't even have to leave the site for my pictures. The venue itself provided the most unique backgrounds. Jodi was amazing to work with and made it my dream wedding.
