The venue was absolutely perfect with its multiple spaces: ceremony space by the river with gazebo for our harpist; bar space (with firepits); orchard with Victorian furniture and chandeliers (!); and a unique architectural feature of a glass tent (so we never worried about rain) with plenty of space for a DJ, photo booth, and caterer's buffet dinner. Shout out to Frank, Nate, Laurel, and Livvy who were incredible to work with. They were available to answer our questions throughout the entire planning process, and on the day of, everything went so smoothly. The staff went above and beyond to help accommodate our unique wedding theme. Overall, Stone Garden on the Connecticut River is highly recommended to any couple looking for an outdoor setting with the comfort of knowing there is a waterproof glass pavilion in case of rain. t to the outdoor bar, the ceremony site overlooking the river with a mountain in the background, and the semi-permanent barn structure with clear sides all make the site a place to remember. The lights in the apple trees make a beautiful background at night. The DJ's uplights made the semi-permanent structure shine. All of this combines to make a venue that will last in memory as one of the most beautiful around. Frank and Kristin were very communicative throughout the whole planning process. Both Laurel and Livia helped keep all the details in line on the day of. Everything went smoothly the day of our wedding, and if it didn't, we didn't know about it. If you want a beautiful venue for your event, take a good look at Stone Garden.

he view of the river, the tree covered hills, and the beautiful landscaping make it an ideal spot, but what really makes it special is all the little details that Kristen and Frank offer - the lights, lanterns, flowers, beautifully built bar, chandelier, gorgeous tent, even the bathroom trailer is beautiful! We hired Kristen as our wedding planner and she was worth every penny! We didn't give her much time to plan and execute but she came through for us on everything - she was so responsive to all of our asks and questions - and anything we asked of her, she not only figured out a way to make it happen, but made it happen smoothly so we didn't have to worry about a thing! The day of the wedding was so smooth and seamless - everything was just perfect and we couldn't have done it without Kristen! I also highly recommend Frank's drinks - the signature drinks are definitely worth the cost - Frank makes a GREAT drink and the tasting ahead of the wedding is so fun! Overall, Stone Garden is a perfect place for your wedding, and Frank and Kristen are such a great team to build your dream wedding. They are both amazing to work with and you will not regret choosing Stone Garden for your special day!

to all our thoughts, put together mood boards for us to view, made all the changes we needed, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. The floral pieces she made for us were spectacular! She took our ideas and transformed them into masterpieces. She was prompt, accurate, and spent quite a bit of time transporting many of the flowers from the wedding venue to the reception venue. We could not have asked for more. She is a gem.

en as our ‘welcome party’ venue the night before (we had a taco truck come + yard games and bar service by Stone Garden), our wedding ceremony and reception venue, our florals, our bartending with custom drinks, and our coordinators. We are SO happy we did. For our wedding, we wanted something outdoors but with a rain plan, with a view on the water, with parking, flexible with our decor ideas, and close to hotels. We got all of this and beyond. Kristen and Frank really make magic happen. They are experts in paying attention to detail, going the extra mile to make your vision come to life, and making you feel important and celebrated. The second we met them we knew we were in good, trustworthy hands. Our wedding dreams included driving up to the ceremony in a 1955 Chevy, disco balls hung over the dance floor, tons of candles and bud vases, an extra cake for a birthday, vintage furniture, a portrait artist, an audio guestbook, and more. All of this was PERFECTLY achieved in the most gloriously beautiful way. IN THE RAIN. We were expecting a drizzle but it totally poured on our wedding day. Kristen and Frank communicated with us up to the final hours to decide how we could make the most of our day, and they were able to pivot and adapt to every single change- including moving furniture and putting sides on the tent. Their team kept us fed, informed, and completely carefree all night long. Our guests cannot stop telling us how beautiful the venue was (the view, the landscaping, the lights, everything!) and how nice and talented all the staff were. Everyone asks me how I found such a gem. We all loved it so much. It felt elegant and cozy at the same time. Every single recommendation for vendors, hotels, transportation -every piece of advice offered to us by Kristen and Frank- was so valuable and impeccable. I will never stop talking about my flowers- Kristen absolutely NAILED my vision and I have preserved all of them in as many ways as I could. Frank made the most gorgeous, delicious drinks for us and we drank them out of our own heart-shaped glasses we brought from home, and the staff kept them full for us all night long, without us ever once asking!! Kristen’s coordination staff even took photos and videos for us throughout the night, and some of my very favorite keepsakes of the whole wedding are from them. They are angels!!! The whole team!!! I cannot recommend Stone Garden enough, I will be raving about it FOREVER.

She took my few ideas and went above and beyond! I also hired Kristen to do our flowers, and they were stunning! The venue is incredible, and guests loved how they could be under the tent, by the firepit, or in the orchard. I would recommend this venue to anyone! It was beautiful and extremely affordable to those on a budget!

Ours was a brutally hot and humid day (thankfully we had no rain) and Kristen, Frank and their staff pulled it off with class. The things that stand out are: *the setting at the bend of the Connecticut River makes a dreamy back-drop for the ceremony and a pleasant spot for guests to socialize during the night. *the distinctive four-pole tent and cement floor and garden were striking *the chandeliers, white lights, and velvet Victorian furniture in the orchard were inviting and whimsical *guests had the run of the whole yard for games and for our youngest guests to let off steam *and the porta-potties were air-conditioned! *Kristen’s floral designs were colorful, creative, and ambitious. It was a big job, complete with an amazing branch chandelier floral display at the ceiling of the tent. Kristen was an organized planner, good communicator, and so cheerful and reassuring! * Given the heat of the wedding day, the bar was very busy and Frank’s staff kept it all flowing. A few months ahead of the wedding, Frank held a cocktail tasting event that helped the bride and groom to decide on their signature cocktails – and it was a fun afternoon to visit Stone Garden while in the planning phase. One note: the required walk-through one month before the wedding was a challenge coming from New Jersey, but it was so helpful in the end! I now understand why it is part of the schedule and agree that it is useful to convene with the vendors to plan and decide things face-to-face. Thank you, Kristen and Frank!

em for the ceremony, Frank went to great lengths to locate a bluetooth speaker that we could pair my husband's phone to and finally get the afternoon started! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous; our guests loved the various zones they could explore throughout the course of the evening. Kristen is an incredibly talented floral designer—from the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, hairpieces, bud vases, arbor and ceremony accents, etc.—everything was perfect and spot on with my style. Finally, Kristen and Frank's decades of combined experience in the hospitality and restaurant industries is a huge asset; they know who to work with throughout the region and beyond and have strong connections with awesome vendors who know the venue well. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to have all of our closest friends and family come together to celebrate our wedding day. Thank you!!

tone Garden was the only venue we found that allowed us to personalize and customize our wedding to include all the aspects that were looking for such as a more open floor design, yard games, and open bar. Frank and Kristen handled all the set up and breakdown including adding our personal touches. I would recommend Stone Garden for any couple looking for a beautiful outdoor venue that has that small-business vibe to allow for a more personal experience.

re! We had an overall theme that Kristen was able to nail and blew us away with the colors and florist arrangements. She absolutely crushed it. We had several planning sessions with her and she was able to keep us in our schedule and took care of some stuff for us that we were lagging on. Frank and Kristen showed up for setup a couple days ahead and no issues with take down. The day of, if there was an issue, we didn’t hear about it. Kristen and Frank kept us in time and in line haha. 5/5 isn’t a high enough rating!

Everything just happened like magic, and we didn’t have to do or worry about anything. Kristen was our florist, and all the flowers were so beautiful, especially the bouquet and the flowers on the arbor. Frank and Kristen helped us to find a few of our other vendors for the wedding, including our caterer and transportation services, which we greatly appreciated. The venue is gorgeous and is incredibly picturesque. The lawn, the trees, the orchard, and the views of the Connecticut River were all stunning. The bar area was so beautiful and unique. The staff were all professional, helpful and nice. Everyone had such an amazing day, and our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful this venue was and how awesome a time they had, and so much of this is thanks to Frank and Kristen. We could not imagine getting married anywhere else.

d itself. Our guests are still telling us how much fun they had and what a perfect spot it was. The venue is gorgeous - a sprawling lawn right on the river with beautiful views. It’s big enough so that there are distinct areas for the ceremony, cocktail hour with lawn games, and reception while still having the convenience of having all ‘day of’ events in the same location. Kristen and Frank were a huge help during the planning process, connecting us with other local vendors, providing suggestions, inviting us to a cocktail tasting to come up with our *delicious* signature drinks, and answering any and all questions we had. The wedding weekend worked out perfectly as well. From the rehearsal on Friday where Kristen made sure we all knew what we were doing & how we wanted the site set up through the pickup of all of our decor on Sunday, everything went smoothly and we didn’t need to worry about a thing. Two thumbs up, 5 stars, A+, 10/10.

So many of our guests came to us to say how beautiful everything turned out. Not to mention the location was amazing! The patio bar looked so warm and welcoming all lit up with bistro lights and the staff were so friendly! Definitely go with the Stone Garden if you want an airy outdoor wedding in a idealic waterfront setting.

Among other things, Kristen has great décor visions and ideas, while Frank concocts the most beautiful and delicious cocktails. Together they're a great team and provide excellent service. Our guests had endless compliments about the beauty of this piece of property. Not to mention, our photographers captured breathtaking moments with the mountains and river in the background.

I did not want to have to worry about every little detail and thankfully the packages Stone Garden offers really includes it all! They reached out to my vendors for me to make sure they all had the resources needed and provided florals, table settings, etc giving me options to choose from. The day of our wedding was rainy but that didn't stop them from shifting to make sure everyone was warm, comfortable and had a great time! So happy we choose this venue.

During our wedding day, I looked around and they were like behind-the-scene ninjas, making things happen! Lights came on, candles were lit, fire pit was going…and I didn’t even need to say a thing. They handled the biggest down to the most minute details without me even noticing. At one point, I just stopped and looked around at our guests - they were enjoying the sunset on the river, the bar area and s’mores fire pit, the lights under the trees, and of course the dance floor. Not only did my husband and I have the most incredible experience, but our guests did too! Our day was everything we’d hope for and more, and Stone Garden Weddings was a huge reason why!

There is no one best part of this venue, the grounds are stunning and the owners are talented and wonderful! I put so much in their hands including the floral decor, setup, bar, rentals etc and they exceeded my expectations in every way. They were communicative and flexible, and worked to make sure all my needs and dreams were met and exceeded. I’ve received so many compliments from guests and vendors about how beautiful this venue is and how wonderful the entire event was. No one could believe that we had changed plans so late in the process because every single detail was flawless. I simply cannot put into words how highly I recommend this spot. You really can’t go wrong if you choose Stone Garden. Planning a wedding is hard and I wish you all the best...after all It’s what you deserve and it’s what you’ll get from this venue with Frank and Kristen.

ew of the river. Having that water really helped with a cooler breeze on that hot summers day. I felt that the host really were able to make any of my many requests a reality. The venue went on till the darkest part of the night and the hosts were able to keep it going. With great experience on their part really showed in the quality that we received. They were to dot every I and cross every T for us. I would recommend this property to anyone who loves a gorgeous New England feel with the added bonus of seclusion with an intimate setting.

azebo looking out onto the river, flowers everywhere; it could not have been a more perfect backdrop. The wedding reception was amazing! The fruit trees were all lit up and twinkled romantically; I thought Tinkerbell was going to appear. The dance floor under the tent - OMG so much fun, so much space, a great bar area, and the evening air was lovely on the river. Special place for a wedding.
