We got married at the Stone House on June 7th and it was a wonderful experience. We chose this venue for its extremely helpful, kind, and flexible staff as well as it's unique style. We worked with Nicole and she was always available to discuss details and answer questions. She always told us that she just wanted to make sure we had a good experience and a beautiful wedding. She did a fantastic job and we greatly appreciate all her help. On the day of the wedding she even came for the event to make sure everything went off without a hitch. We had Frank as our Maitre D and Amalia as the bridal attendant. Both did a great job as well and made sure my husband and I got to eat some food. The food is also incredible, as the vegetables come right from their farm. They have a restaurant as well if you're interested in trying some of their food. The whole team at Stone House puts a lot of thought into details and is happy to work with you to make your wedding day what you hoped for. Highly recommend this venue for your wedding. Added plus that there is an overhang outside where we had our ceremony. We didn't have any rain but it provided much-needed shade for our pictures and our guests.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Michelle, our “memory maker.” She made the entire planning process feel seamless, stress-free, and genuinely exciting. She was always incredibly responsive, accommodating, and thoughtful throughout the entire journey. What stood out most was how much she truly cared, even when my family and I dined at the restaurant months before the wedding, she made it a point to come over and say hello. That personal touch meant so much to us. The property itself is absolutely stunning. From the second I walked into Stone House, I knew it was the venue I wanted to get married at. Every detail is elegant, timeless, and beautifully maintained. And the FOOD, absolutely incredible. Our guests are still talking about how amazing everything was! On the wedding day, both my husband and I were assigned attendants who stayed by our side the entire time and made sure everything ran smoothly. Our maître d’, Frank, was exceptional from the moment the wedding began. He was organized, attentive, and completely on top of everything all night long. Not only were we taken care of, but our families and guests were treated with such kindness, respect, and attention throughout the entire evening. n - a romantic outdoor ceremony space, a charming, rustic cocktail hour space, and a beautiful ballroom for reception. The food was delicious. Our friends and family were impressed with the sheer quantity of food but also with the high quality and delicious flavors. The Stone House is well located with multiple hotels nearby. Most of our guests stayed 10 minutes away at the Embassy Suites and the Embassy organized shuttle services for us to and from the venue which was such a big help. The Stone House team is best in the business - Michelle, Frank, and Amalia were so helpful, organized, and professional. I never had to worry and they were always two steps ahead of me on anything I needed. Michelle was so easy to work with from the very beginning. She was kind, considerate, and professional. She was easy to communicate with and happily answered all of my questions and concerns. She made me feel so special and helped make this wedding day exactly what we dreamed it would be. Frank and Amalia were incredibly helpful on the day of my wedding. Amalia was so kind and supportive and helped me with anything and everything I needed. Frank kept everything organized and on track - right before walking down the aisle he gave me and my dad a few words of wisdom which I still remember to this day. We are so appreciative of their hard work. Our friends and family commented many times on their positive experiences and how much they enjoyed the food and ambiance. Throughout the entire planning process, she was flexible at accommodating all of our needs and she recommended some amazing vendors to us as well. As for the food, the cocktail hour, dinner, and desserts were phenomenal. We had an extended cocktail hour, which was so fun for us and our guests, This allowed us to finish up with any remaining photos and still enjoy time as a couple and with our guests. king up a few items left behind, we always felt so welcomed and at home at the Stone House. We loved the somewhat rustic-ness of the outdoor area and cocktail hour area with the mixture of the glamorous side to the ballroom. All of the food and drinks were amazing from our cocktail hour stations to the custom drinks to our main courses and our ice cream dessert station! What we liked the most about the Stone House was the service – from Michelle to Frank, our Maitre D to the bridal attendant and beyond – all of the staff they provided such amazing service and we felt so cared for throughout the process. Working with Michelle felt like working with a friend and she really did so much to help us and ensure a fabulous day. We already miss the Stone House and look forward to stopping by again at their restaurant to help relive the day!

The venue includes so much and the bridal attendant and maitre’d were so helpful that I never regretted my decision to not hire a day-of coordinator. They were really flexible too - letting us add an extra hors d’oeuvre for free, arrive earlier than we were technically supposed to for photos, and even sneaking us over to the Lodge’s giant chess board for a quick picture at a moment that wouldn’t disrupt the other wedding happening there. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

ure our day was perfect and she made our vision become a reality! She was very prompt and responsive to our many questions throughout the process. She went the extra mile to make sure our day went off exactly how we dreamed it up. Our Maitre’D Frank was excellent; he navigated us and our family through the day without a hiccup. The cocktail hour was phenomenal; I recommend extending the cocktail hour as we did because our guests could not get enough of it. The sushi add-on was also a huge hit; our guests were double-fisting plates of sushi. Our guests loved the indoor/outdoor style cocktail area, especially with the weather being great on our wedding day. The passed lamb chops and the crab cakes are a must; they were so good! We went with the hot antipasto station, the carving station, and the seafood paella station. All were a hit, but the fan favorite was the hot antipasto station; everyone was boasting about the fried calamari. Typically at weddings, the one thing I get frustrated with is long lines at the bar. We had over 130 people at our wedding and there barely was a line at either bartender the entire night long! The bartenders absolutely killed it, especially with some of our guests ordering drinks for their entire table. Our reception went off without a hitch! We had asked Stone House if we could move our sweetheart table in front of the fireplace instead of in the middle of the dance floor, and they obliged and made our vision happen! Our guests loved the food, as everyone raved about the short rib and passed desserts. The lodge room may seem smaller than a typical venue room, but for a party of around 125 people, it's plenty of room. The outside lounge is also a great addition, as many guests ventured outside to make s'mores by the fireplace as nightfall came. The staff at our wedding was very courteous and attentive all night long. They were constantly bringing our guests refills, and made sure to bring everyone passed after dinner drinks and desserts. They even went outside to the fire pits and brought our guests drinks and desserts while they were smoking cigars and lounging. We cannot stress enough how beautiful and amazing our wedding was at the Lodge at Stone House!

as instrumental in removing so much stress from the wedding planning process. She was always incredibly responsive to all of our questions and whenever we had any concerns, she did an amazing job of helping us find a workaround in line with the vision we had for our wedding. She paid careful attention to the details which always put me at ease that there wasn’t anything we were forgetting during the wedding planning process. On top of that, I truly felt like I could trust our wedding in her hands based on the amount of care she put into all of our conversations. She really went above and beyond to make sure the wedding felt personal, yet always professional. I don’t think I can fully express in words how lucky I feel to have had Michelle in my corner throughout this process, but I can say confidently that she is the best and any event she touches will be incredible. Michelle alone would really have made the Stone House a gem, but the rest of the Stone House staff was so incredible, too. Frank Encarnacion was such a great maitre de and he has this sort of effortless way of making you feel at ease when you’re seconds away from walking down the aisle and getting butterflies in your stomach. The man did an incredible job of juggling it all from making sure our drinks were always full, keeping the show running on schedule, dealing with all the little hiccups that I’m sure popped up behind the scenes, and bustling my dress even when I needed the help. I’ll never forget the calming energy he brought on what could have otherwise been a very stressful day. And I would be doing such a disservice if I didn’t mention the food. It was unbelievably good and I think the real testament to that is that our guests were all raving about the food they ate, but everyone was raving about a different dish being their favorite. This also included all of our guests who have allergies, including our friend who has a severe gluten allergy and often isn’t able to eat at events like these. Once again, it just goes to show that at the Stone House, they pay attention to every detail so every guest can get a taste of how good they are. Tl;Dr - I can’t imagine my wedding being anywhere else besides the Stone House. Everything down to the detail was perfect and I can credit so much of that to the fantastic team working behind the scenes to make it all go down seamlessly. They all know what they’re doing and are passionate about getting it right, the best kind of people to have your back on the best day of your life.

Day of the wedding was flawless, mostly because Amalia, my bridal attendant, was there to help every time I turned around and Frank, our maitre’d, did everything from literally sowing me into my dress to standing in the rain to make sure I didn’t get a drop on me before walking down the aisle. The day of our wedding was legitimately perfect and incredibly stress free. Michelle stayed true to her every word, and we have already received compliments from over 40+ guests about how incredible the food was and that this was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. She was extremely communicative and answered all of my questions (and I had a lot) throughout the entire planning process. She accommodated everything we asked for and even made suggestions of what else we could want! The food at stone house is amazing! Everyone was raving about the food. Cocktail hour was delicious and abundant. We were able to make so many choices from chef attended stations and passed apps. Dinner was outstanding (or so I heard since I am still upset I didn’t have time to eat my dinner lol) we were able to customize the dinner options so we had the main, starch, and veggies that we liked. Dessert was delicious and we had a food truck at the end of the night which we loved. The staff at stone house were so friendly and helpful. We had Mercedes as our maitre d and Rebecca as the bridal attendant. They were both on top of everything. From the beginning of planning working with Michelle and the stone house team was so easy!! I would recommend stone house over and over again. We live that it is a restaurant and we can continue to go back for special occasions!

he normal stress of finding food / cake vendors were eliminated - big shoutout to Nicole! One of the primary reasons we chose Stone House was due to the ambiguous weather in New Jersey - if (on the likely chance) it rained, we needed to make sure that the indoor ceremony option felt perfect, not just an afterthought. And for Stone House (The Lodge), we found that the indoor option was so incredibly perfect we even considered asking to do it inside even in the case of sun. Victoria (the bride) was followed by an attendant who carried her dress train and veil and helped fluff it out for every picture. While the venue was beautiful and our pictures turned out perfect, we thought the food was possibly the highlight of the venue. Our guests themselves have raved to us at how incredible the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres were some of the best they’ve ever had, so much so that they forgot to leave room for dinner. But the dinner itself and the desserts at the end were also delicious, and we feel lucky that such incredible food just came with the venue itself. f your priorities are organization, delicious food + drink, and immaculate service; look no further. The grounds and spaces are gorgeous and unique, but the stars of the show are the staff. We were 100% blessed to work with the lovely Michelle Ross as our day-of coordinator. She was the definition of professionalism from the moment we stepped on the property. She made us feel welcome, excited, and cared for throughout the entirety of the planning process and on wedding day. She answered every one of my questions promptly and with care. I am convinced that I would have been stressed out beyond belief without her, but instead I had a literal blast planning my wedding and got to be a chill bride on my wedding day- all because Michelle is a ROCK STAR! There will never be enough time to truly describe how instrumental Michelle was in making our wedding day perfect. We also got to work with the most amazing people on our big day. Frank and Mercedes took the greatest care of us and our wedding party. I mean, Mercedes was literally right next to me while we were outside taking pictures, with a glass of ice water and a handheld fan, while simultaneously helping with my bouquet and train. Frank worked magic when my brother’s button came off his tux, and miraculously fixed it. They were there every moment in case we needed anything. No wedding day goes exactly as planned, but because of Frank and Mercedes, everything that went wrong was taken care of and no one was the wiser. I MYSELF didn’t know half of the stuff that happened until the next day, I just got to have fun on my wedding day without a single worry! They are truly super heroes. What we didn’t know at the time (and what we were THE MOST elated with after the various wedding milestones/the wedding itself) was how amazing the people are/service is and how amazing the food is. Michelle is quite literally my wedding angel. Despite my best efforts – I can be an anxious, type A bride, and just talking to Michelle calmed any/all worries. I don’t think I have enough words to thank her with - she is professional yet so personable and is an absolute dream to get to work with. And it didn’t stop there! The Maître D, Frank, and the Bridal Attendant, Mercedes, were SO attentive and so pleasant – having your wedding at the Stone House is having it at a well-oiled machine and that just takes off so much pressure. They all have so much wedding experience – it honestly feels hard for anything to go wrong. From the top down, everyone there is truly invested in making sure your wedding is a success. And the FOOD. I think for a lot of our guests, our wedding will go down as the wedding with the best food they’ve ever had. Our event stylist, Nicole, was incredible! She was so kind, organized, and helpful and was always there to answer our many questions. She made planning feel easy. My husband and I felt so taken care of by the staff at the Stone House. Our Maitre d Frank and our bridal assistant Mercedes went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy and having a great time. When looking for venues, our top requirement was that they had good food. The food at our wedding was fantastic and there was so much of it! The menu offered a wide variety of options to choose from so all of our guests were happy and well-fed. The bartenders were also excellent and there was hardly ever a line to get a drink. We also loved the venue grounds as there were many different areas to get beautiful pictures. Overall, we had a perfect day and wouldn't change a single thing about our wedding. f, our wedding coordinator, Michelle Ross, was a vision. She was so sweet and incredibly helpful at every turn, she handled our every question and concern with ease. Our wedding day felt to us like an overwhelming success, and I'm positive that Michelle had no small role in making that happen. We chose the Lodge as our wedding venue, the smaller of the two. We came in at under the minimum for the venue, and the room still felt full and lively. The grounds were gorgeous and our photographer was able to get a lot of great shots of us before the wedding. Our guests really loved the outdoor patio during the reception. It was so pretty and the weather was so ideal that it was perfect for people looking to get some fresh air or get away from the music for a bit. The firepit with the smores was a nice bonus too! We knew that the food was going to be incredible; every review, every person we spoke to that has been to a wedding here has said the food was amazing. We went to the Stone House restaurant early in the wedding process (another great benefit of this venue, you can come back to eat any time!) and we were thoroughly impressed. The food tasting event blew our wedding party away, and we had such a difficult time deciding between entree and cocktail hour options because all the options were just so good! Michelle and the Stone House staff were extremely helpful and generous in the process of choosing our menu. At the wedding, the guests RAVED about the food; even a month later, everyone keeps telling us how good the food was. Tip: get the donut wall, it's worth it! We 100% made the right choice with the Lodge at Stone House. Not only would we recommend this venue, but we keep telling every unmarried couple we know to just get married at the Stone House just so we can have a chance to come back!

Our wedding was at The Lodge on a stunning fall day this past October and even if the weather did not show up for us that day it would be been perfect heavily due to the team at stone house. Every little specific request that we had told her she made sure happened and she was so wonderful and personable to work with. On the day of, our maitre D (Frank Jr) and bridal attendant (Melina) were so attentive and checked in with us and my parents throughout the night for anything we needed. They had a spread of each appetizer food and our signature drinks waiting for us in our bridal suite right after the ceremony, and made sure we got to try a little of everything - even each dessert! work with and we immediately felt at ease. I felt like I had known Sarah my whole life! She was consistently communicative, friendly, supportive, professional, and helpful in planning our wedding. Sarah was communicative throughout the wedding planning process, and with her help we were able to plan our wedding in just 8 months. She kept us on track with planning and knew just what to say to ease my nerves the days leading up to the wedding. We decided to get married on the ballroom side, knowing it was April and with the chance of rain, the covered outdoor area for the ceremony was perfect. In true April fashion, it rained the entire wedding weekend. As it turns out, I was pleasantly surprised to see how serene and beautiful the outdoor ceremony space was in the rain. The colorful greenery surrounding it, full of love and support from our guests, felt like we were in a tranquil rainforest. We unfortunately did not get many pictures of us around the grounds, but it did not matter. The ballroom has beautiful lighting and is a larger space, with plenty of room for our 150 guests. The chandeliers are stunning and are the highlight of many of our reception photos. We loved the European vibe of the cocktail hour space, with lots of wood and darker colors. The food was beyond excellent. The guests were raving about all of the food, from the cocktail hour to dinner to dessert. The hospitality and customer service, including everyone from Sarah, to our maitre-d’ Frank, were so on top of being supportive and magically made the day go as smoothly as possible. Our guests were beyond impressed and in love with the venue (as were we since the day we toured the venue). Our wedding day was a dream, all thanks to Stone House!

The staff during the wedding was amazing too — Frank the Maitre D was funny and nice and made sure me and my husband had everything we needed all night. Mercedes was our bridal attendant and she was also amazing and made sure we had everything we needed too and didn’t leave my side. The food was amazing everyone was blown away by the cocktail hour and the entrees were just as good. The room looked beautiful and everyone was so happy the entire night. very single one of our million questions, let us tour the venue multiple times, and accommodated every request we had without question. We got married in November and were very worried about getting married outside and the cold weather. The Stone House went above and beyond to ease our concerns by purchasing extra heat lamps a few days before, as well as passing hot apple cider to all guests before the ceremony. The wedding day in the Lodge went off without a hitch with a beautiful outdoor ceremony, which moved into a cocktail hour where no-one went hungry with their all star staff. In addition, the food was amazing, with everyone complementing us all night on how delicious everything was.

gement about our issues on our wedding day and after they promised to make things right, the insulted us with compensation way below what we discussed on the phone and then did not reply to our reply messages (I have reached out 3 times after they said they would get back to me). This extremely unprofessional and they clearly don’t care about making us 100% satisfied like they stated over the phone. Our dinner did not come out until 9:15pm after my mother went into the kitchen to tell them to serve the food ASAP. They were missing cocktail hour pass arounds and did not give my husband and I any of the small plates in our bridal suite. The maitre de and bridal attendant were missing after salads were served. They ran out of my husbands signature drink an hour before the reception ended and it was bud light. The bathrooms were dirtier than a frat house. We hope this review allows other couples to have wonderful wedding days by not booking with the Stone House.
