The price and scenery are excellent! We did have some issues and I got ping ponged around to staff; none of whom could answer basic questions about the chair setup. My big frustrat...
ion was that we were promised a sound system for the ceremony and the manager could not figure out how to play music on his own sound system that we needed for the ceremony. Again, it is a beautiful venue with a reasonable price but this shouldn't have been an issue.
Loved everything about it, so pretty and quaint! The only thing that was not good was that if you don’t use the outside area fort the ceremony (ours was due to rain and cold), you ...
don’t get your money back. It’s hard to plan that far away and the weather doesn’t always cooperate. Other than that, everyone was very helpful and easy to work with and the location really is beautiful!
The venue for our reception was gorgeous. We added a tent since the festhall is on the smaller side especially with a dance floor. Beautiful pond and deck to walk out on along with...
vines surrounding the entire venue. We added a lot of our own decor, lights and lanterns in the trees and inside. We also put lounge furniture on the patio for a romantic ambiance with bistro lighting. The winery captured our vision perfectly. The only cons I would recommend working out are the acoustics in the festhall. Make sure your DJ provides a way to cancel out echoing and crowd noise. Music and speeches were hard to hear. Also lots of spilling on the dance floor and on girls' dresses due to full cups so maybe make a rule for no alcohol while dancing :) Overall, it was a beautiful venue I would definitely recommend.
Where do I start? When we first started looking for a place to have our wedding ceremony and reception, we where overwhelmed with all the downtown options that had little parking a...
nd huge price tags. After visiting the winery and working with the owner, we looked no further! Everything was beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the wine is delicious. This is truly a hidden gem in Lee's Summit. Great for bridal showers, baby showers, and of course weddings!! Pictures do not do this place justice, come grab a bottle of wine and enjoy yourself!
I fell in love when I pulled in the parking lot. I could see our wedding party pictures in the vineyard and in front of the pond on site. The pictures were gorgeous! We had access ...
to an indoor and outdoor site so guests could roam freely. They provided two bartenders, tables, chairs, table linens, and clean up. We had so much fun and it was the perfect size space for our 175 guest wedding.
very nice place to get hitched
This place is beautiful. I got married in the garden room because we had a very small and intimate wedding but you couldn't ask for anything nicer.
My husband and I love wine and traveling to and discovering wineries in our area. I loved the fact that our wedding and reception were able to incorporate our love of wineries. The...
reception space is a very 'Tuscan' style hall. The feel of the venue is very warm and cozy.;Due to state law they are only able to serve their own wine and beer that they bring in from their vendors(no hard alcohol). You can not bring any alcohol on premesis. This really wasn't a problem for us. But some people prefer mixed drinks etc.
