We feel so lucky to have had our wedding at Stonehill’s. It was the most gorgeous setting, and to us it was the perfect combination of beautiful and special without feeling overly ...
precious. The surrounding trails and trees, the pond, and the simple architecture all made our day feel magical. Kelsey was absolutely amazing, from a year before our wedding when we signed our contract, to the day after. She was so supportive and helpful, often answering questions we had that didn’t fall directly under her purview, and her experience with weddings made us feel so confident and comfortable going into our big day. We couldn’t recommend Stonehill’s enough!
We had the best experience with Stonehill’s. We were attracted to the venue for its location, the multiple spaces that we could use, its ability to sleep 50 people onsite, and the ...
amenities included in the venue fee (especially the tent, the arbor, ceremony seating, tables and chairs), and it delivered on all fronts. We loved working with the venue manager Kelsey, who was super communicative and a great asset to help our planner with day-of coordination. Not to mention the entire property is gorgeous, with the wildflowers and the barn and the farmhouse (and the farm animals) and everything else! Highly highly recommend!!
My wife and I just had our wedding at Stonehill's Farmhouse for our 140 person event on 9/13/25 and oh my god we could not have picked a better venue. Let me break it down.

E:
Throughout the planning process Stonehill's staff made them available to us as much as we requested, setting up as many meetings as we needed to get our questions answered, reassure us of details, and plan. The staff was incredibly fast to respond to us directly, and they worked hand-in-hand with our planner to make the process as easy as possible for us. When we were THERE for the wedding, honestly, we felt like royalty. Anything we could want or ask for was made available to us and they were incredibly responsive to our needs and requests while the wedding events were in progress.
THE SPACE:
The rooms in the main farmhouse are cozy (but not small), luxurious, and incredibly charming beyond belief. I could have stayed there a whole extra week just to get more use out of their clawfoot tubs. The cabins are quaint but EXTREMELY fun and cute and honestly if you don't have fun in them there's something wrong with YOU. The property is like something out of a fantasy book - wildflowers and winding paths spread across the whole area and the goats + sheep brought out the kid in me again. The ceremony space for the wedding was GORGEOUS. My wife and I didn't want to process down the aisle, but rather chose to emerge from the forrest path in front of our ceremony guests. The ceremony could face the pond (what we chose to get that "emerge from the forest effect") or could overlook the beautiful property and honestly I can't imagine going wrong in either case. The barn and reception area was gorgeous and it flowed so naturally that guests just implicitly knew how to exist and have fun in the space.
CATERING:
I'll start by saying that I am a food snob: if I didn't do what I do for work I would try and be a chef. Based on all of my other past experiences with hotels and lodges, I had low expectations for what the food might be like. Stonehill's fully catered our Friday Night Welcome Party and our Goodbye Brunch - we went with the BBQ menu for Friday Night and good god. The food was better than what most would expect from high end restaurants! Honestly, maybe just go there for a meal, it's that good.

We had our wedding at Stonehill’s in May 2025, and it was everything we dreamed of. I am in the events industry myself so I was very skeptical when looking for venues and I am so h...
appy with our choice.
The grounds are stunning, the indoor spaces are beautifully kept, and the whole setting feels romantic and welcoming. We never saw the venue at night because we toured during the day, and it was simply magical! The lighting at night somehow made it even more beautiful in a way that's hard to describe.
Kelsey and the team were incredible to work with—organized, kind, and always a step ahead. They made the planning process smooth and the wedding day itself stress-free so we could truly enjoy every moment. Our guests raved about the atmosphere and how seamless everything felt.
If you’re looking for a gorgeous venue with an amazing staff who genuinely care, Stonehill’s is the place. We’ll always be grateful for the memories they helped create and we can't wait to go back!
We had our wedding at Stonehill’s in fall 2024. While the land and setting are beautiful, working with the venue’s team leading up to the wedding was the most stressful part of our...
planning.
Multiple people responded from the venue email address, but no one signed their name, so we never knew who we were dealing with. Some of the emails we received were shockingly rude and inhospitable.
Communications aside, there were numerous other issues. For example, we raised concerns about bar staffing multiple times prior to the wedding after a friend who previously attended a wedding there told us about long lines. Despite repeated assurances that they would appropriately staff the bars, our wedding had the same issue: consistently long waits and not enough bartenders to meet demand. The venue provides the alcohol, so we feel like there's little incentive for them to provide sufficient service when slower service may increase their margins.
About two weeks before the wedding, they let us know there would be another event the night before ours—when we and our guests were checking in—and asked if we’d be willing to share heaters. We had no issue with another wedding taking place, but we were floored that they hadn’t mentioned it earlier. We feel that they told us only to simplify heater logistics, not as a courtesy heads up (which you’d expect from folks in the hospitality industry...).
Also, when we checked in to our cabin, there was long hair and dust on the floor throughout. It clearly hadn’t been vacuumed.
We’d caution those considering Stonehill’s to think twice.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Stonehill’s Farmhouse and their incredible team. My husband and I got married here this past October, and while no one hopes for rain on...
their wedding day, it turned out to be the most enchanting experience thanks to the care, thoughtfulness, and expertise of the Stonehill’s staff.
From the moment the first raindrops fell, the team immediately sprang into action to ensure that every single guest was comfortable and safe. They adjusted the entire setup seamlessly, creating a cozy, romantic ambiance under their stunning tent. The flickering candles, soft string lights, and sound of rain tapping on the tent made the ceremony feel like a scene from a storybook. It was intimate and unforgettable.
The team went above and beyond to accommodate our guests, especially those who needed extra assistance. They provided umbrellas at every entrance, and made sure staff were stationed throughout the venue (and in the parking lot) to offer guidance and support, especially for our elderly guests. Before the wedding day, they asked us to submit a list of anyone needing complimentary valet service using their adorable golf cart, from the parking lot to the wedding and back, which we submitted and thought was a really nice touch. We had about 20 guests who were elderly, and the team took care of them all from start to finish, in addition to some of our dear friends who are somewhat lazy and didn't want to walk! ;)
The reception in the barn was nothing short of magical. The space felt warm and inviting, and the rain only added to the charm. Guests were talking all night about how beautiful and unique the setting was, and how impressed they were with the team’s professionalism in adapting to the weather. The restrooms were regularly attended to, remaining clean and accessible throughout the night.
One standout moment was when the team surprised us by transforming the cocktail hour into a cozy gathering in the stone cellar, complete with extra heaters and blankets for anyone who wanted them. It was a thoughtful touch that made our guests feel completely at ease despite the rain. We opted not to rent outdoor heaters, which we should have, but the venue had extra tower heaters that they let us use which was great.
By the end of the night, as the rain slowed to a gentle drizzle, we stepped outside for a few breathtaking photos under the glow of the string lights and stars. It was as if the rain had become part of the magic, and we wouldn’t have changed a thing.
Stonehill’s Farmhouse is a truly one-of-a-kind venue with a team that genuinely cares about their couples and their guests. They turned what could have been a stressful day into something so special and unforgettable. To anyone reading negative reviews about rain or safety concerns, take it from us: this venue knows exactly how to handle the unexpected with grace and care, and it's a shame that others are attempting to spread misinformation.
Rain on your wedding day might be considered a "bad luck charm," but at Stonehill’s, it became one of the most beautiful parts of our celebration. We would recommend them a thousand times over! ❤️
We are so glad we picked Stonehill’s as our one stop wedding magic shop. Lauren, Lorraine, Nate, Carly, and the whole Stonehill’s team were so great. Lauren, the events coordinat...
or, was so fun and easy to work with. She was always available, and made us feel right at home. We live nearby so we were able to visit a few times to hang out for live music and food, and every time we did we were greeted like family. Stonehill’s is a special place. The barn is gorgeous and has an awesome speak easy cellar for an after party, and the farmhouse Inn has such a great atmosphere and vibe. It rained on our wedding day, so our ceremony took place under a tent in front of the barn, instead of by the pond at the top of the hill. It felt so intimate and magical under the tent that we were happy and thankful for the rain. We spent our wedding weekend at Stonehill’s and hosted a smaller Friday night dinner and Sunday brunch there as well. It really came to feel like an enchanted little bubble on an idyllic piece of land, insulated from the outside world, a perfect container for a special heightened moment in our lives. We can’t say enough good things about Stonehill’s and the Stonehill’s team.
Stonehill’s is amazing, our wedding was a dream come true and the venue made it all possible. My now husband and I found Stonehill’s 2 years ago when they were restoring the 1800s ...
barn. The entire premise (barn, farmhouse, cottages) all have stayed in touch with their original structure. Stonehill’s has an amazing homey and antique feeling about it. Was perfect for us and fit right in with what we wanted for our wedding. Absolutely recommend!!
