Stoneleigh was a dream come true in every aspect of wedding planning! From the moment we got in touch with Saray we knew she would make our wedding happen exactly how we wanted and work to accommodate our massive (200+) guest count! She was extremely responsive throughout the whole process and made sure we were updated and aware of all things planning along the way. Then the wedding day came and she knocked it out of the park going above and beyond her responsibilities to make sure every little detail was perfect! Getting married in stoneleigh was amazing as I grew up there and the team working with me made it absolutely perfect!

Where to even start!! There is so much GOOD to say about this place and especially about the event coordinator here (at least make sure you read the part about her!!). . I promise you this long review is going to be worth reading.
So just for starters, this venue is GORGEOUS and has multiple options for where you can have you ceremony/reception/cocktail hour, all amazing. Amazing places for pictures. And the bridal and grooms suites are smack dab in the center of all these locations so moving about the day from place to place goes so smoothly. They also have amazing food and drink options and pricing is absolutely reasonable for everything you get and just the venue scenery in general.
But the biggest and most valuable part of this venue is absolutely the event coordiantor, Saray McCombs. I cannot say enough about her and I can promise you, it was her who made the most important day of my life absolutely perfect. No stress. No worrying. I actually got to enjoy my big day, because of her.
So when we first toured this place there was a different event coordinator who had been there for years and years so my husband and I felt very comfortable and confident. After several months of no replies to emails, we finally found out (4 months before our wedding) this woman had quit and there was someone new. We were devastated. And unfortunately at that time, we let Saray know that and that we were worried because she was brand new to this venue at the time. Not only did she validate my feelings but she immediately started to build a rapport with me by expressing understanding and then talking with me to figure out how to best make me comfortable and make my big day perfect. She literally made me feel completely confident in her within our first conversation because it was so clear how passionate and dedicated she was to the job. Her communication the 4 months leading up to the wedding was phenomenal.. she did not skip a beat. She is very easy to talk to, she listens to what you want and she takes notes on every conversation. She's detailed and organized. And best of all, she executes. Not only did she deliver exactly what we had pictured in our heads but she made it even better!!! She took our dream and made it an even better reality. She worked so well with all of our other vendors too that I literally felt 0 stress the day of the wedding (which I've heard a lot of brides experience a lot of stress..) but not me. She handled everything. The rest of her staff was amazing and they all knew exactly what to do and where to be when they needed to be there. If I could do this all over again, I'd pick her to be my event coordinator time and time again and stroneleigh as my venue.
You will not regret getting married in this breath takingly beautiful place and you definitely will not regret allowing Saray McCombs to be in charge of your big day, couldn't be in better hands.

This venue will forever have my heart. It is gorgeous, spacious (and yet somehow cozy?), and overall just made my wedding day a stunning experience. Not to mention the staff were fantastic. The wedding coordinator, Stephanie, is fantastic at what she does. She met with myself and various members of my family multiple times while we decided on locations for various events and decor! Stoneleigh also has a large selection of leftover decor from previous weddings that we used, we barely had to supply anything since we wanted relatively simple decor. Another huge relief was that the catering and bar were included, which made the overall pricing very reasonable, and the food was delicious! My husband and I opted for a buffet instead of plated dinner, because he was determined that everyone would be able to eat all that they wanted to, and because of that everyone was so happy with the experience! I highly recommend this venue!!

I can not say enough about Stephanie and the team at Stoneleigh!! Everyone went above and beyond to make our day absolute perfection and thank GOD for Stephanie and her incredible planning skills (working with all my vendors), humor, and support, especially considering all the COVID crazy going on.

Stoneleigh is seriously the hidden gem of Loudoun County. Stephanie is the wedding coordinator and SHE.IS.THE.BEST. Seriously. You cannot go wrong booking your wedding here. She was so accommodating for us since we had to reschedule due to the pandemic and basically had to cut our wedding guest list at about 90%. She was so hospitable and her staff is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and book your wedding here! You will NOT be dissapointed!!!

Choosing Stoneleigh as our reception venue was the best decision we made for our wedding. The grounds and buildings are absolutely beautiful, but the best part was working with Stephanie. Every time we met with her, she made all of us feel relaxed. She went so far above and beyond in our preparations and she, and her awesome staff, made our wedding perfect. Without her, our wedding would not have been the beautiful day that it was. She makes dreams come true.

The pictures do not do this place justice. My mother thought I was crazy for having this be #1 on my list of 6 other locations until she visited the site. There are multiple gorgeous and rustic locations available to get married, have a cocktail hour and/or reception. We had 200 guests so we did an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour in the barn and reception in the tent. All of the spaces were perfect!!!! Stephanie was such a pleasure to work with; she
goes above and beyond and then goes the extra mile to make your day go as smoothly as possible. The chef and kitchen staff provided an amazing meal that had people going back for seconds and thirds. The bartenders were absolutely amazing - they kept the liquid courage going all night to get people on the dance floor! Every single staff member that had a part in the day did a phenomenal job. Guests commented that it was the best wedding that they had been to and that was thanks to Stoneleigh and the staff.

Best, most flexible, beautiful, welcoming and intimate wedding venue there is! We absolutely LOVED our wedding day experience at Stoneleigh and we wish we could get married there every month! ;) It truly feels like home there and Stephanie made it so easy and a dream come true for us! Her vision, helpfulness, flexibility and decorating skills made our wedding absolutely perfect. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her! This wedding venue is a real gem and although I wish we could keep it all to ourselves, the world needs to know about this place! Stoneleigh and Stephanie, you made our dream wedding come true and we will forever be grateful and remember you <3

We just had my daughter's wedding at Stoneleigh Country Club on September 29, 2018. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue! The venue is so beautiful -with a historic courtyard for the ceremony, a rustic barn for cocktail hour, and a permanent tent for dinner and dancing - all against a backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains - it really is the perfect spot! Add in an exceptional Event Manager (Stephanie Swaino), and her experienced staff and a great chef - and you have the recipe for a beautiful and well-run wedding! I cannot say enough good things about working with Stephanie - and the rest of the Stoneleigh team. I booked my daughter's wedding about 16 months out. During that 16 months, Stephanie encouraged me to visit as many times as I wanted so that I could see the venue set up different ways. She also had great recommendations for a photographer, (Photography Du Jour) florist (Designing Flowers) and where to get our hair (Jenny's Hair Salon) and make up (Makeup by Melissa Franklin) done (or as I referred to them as the Purcellville Dream Team) - all local resources from in and around Purcellville All of the vendors that she recommendation had a lot of experience working with Stephanie and at Stoneleigh - which really helped to reduce a lot of "day of" stress.
Although the venue is perfectly fine the way it is, I wanted to add just a few "wow" pieces to the decor in the barn and the tent. Stephanie readily agreed to meet with the woman I had hired to rent a few special pieces from (Rosanna from Bella Villa in Marshall, VA) to discuss my ideas. The three of us spent an hour or two together brainstorming ideas. Stephanie is very creative herself, and added a lot to the conversation. I walked away from this meeting with a very clear idea of what the venue would look like as well as how the day would run.
Her staff was also the perfect combination of being personable and professional. And the food was delicious, too!
If you are looking for a full-service venue and a cracker jack team, then look no further than Stoneleigh!

Stoneleigh is a hidden gem for sure. The overall feel and look is so special and unique. My husband and I were married there on 10/14/17 and it was perfect. There is a beautiful courtyard area where we did the ceremony, a fun refinished barn where we did the cocktail hour, and then a floored tent where we did the reception. All areas have their own feel even though they are very close, so it is a perfect spot to do everything-in-one. Another huge plus is that all of the food and drinks are coordinated through the venue, including dishes, flatware, tablecloths, etc. which was a huge item off the to-do list. Not to mention all of the food is delicious! The best part for us about Stoneleigh was the flexibility; Brian and his team are extremely open and willing to make anything happen. That being said, it is not the place for you if you want to just show up and have a great wedding. What is there is very beautiful but minimalistic, so you will need to add decorations. We had the tent lined and poles draped and that made it perfect and very romantic feeling. We also had our florist decorate the arch which is there with flowers and draping. All in all, we would definitely recommend Stoneleigh to future couples; the pictures on the website do not do the venue justice, go take a look for yourself!

Stoneleigh was the perfect place for us to get married! Brian Baer and Jeana were the perfect team. It was nice to have the ceremony and reception in one place and it was absolutely beautiful! We upgraded our package and lined the tent and it was perfect in every way! My dream was a ballroom under the stars and they were so accommodating to our requests. They were prompt with emails and on the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly. I wasn't worried about anything as I trusted them completely. I had detailed instructions for a lot of things and they went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect! We found Stoneleigh by accident and we are so glad that we chose it!

Stoneleigh is the perfect wedding venue in Loudoun County. The setting alone is absolutely beautiful and serene with its rolling hills, mountain views, stone courtyard and buildings, and restored 18th century barn but Stoneleigh with all its charm has even more to offer. The staff and service are excellent! For our wedding, Brian Baer and his team did everything they could possibly do to accommodate all of our requests and presented an array of options to make this the wedding of our son and daughter-in-law’s dreams. He was available to meet with us often in our pre-wedding planning and extremely responsive to emails during the planning process. Even with a day of record heat, Brian and his team delivered on everything we asked and were courteous, respectful, and understanding. The venue offers many beautiful settings for pictures and we are beyond pleased with how ours turned out. Most importantly, our guests had a fantastic time! They loved the beautiful venue and they raved about how the food was absolutely outstanding. Everyone loved the character of the barn and it was perfect for the dancing. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding or other special event.

We just had our daughter's wedding at Stoneleigh (9-24-16) Golf & CC. It was absolutely perfect- We could not be happier with the results of the day. Brian and Jeanna provided us with everything promised and more. The venue is simply gorgeous! Stunning! The pre wedding communication is what we hoped for and the food is in a special league of it's own, we are still getting notes and calls complimenting the food-
We are completely happy with our daughter's day and we would be delighted to host our second daughter's wedding at Stoneleigh, without hesitation.

On April 30, 2016, my husband and I had the best day of our lives. Not only did we say our vows in a beautiful setting that provide the perfect backdrop, but we were treated like it really was OUR day. Brian Baer and Jeana Humbertson were our points of contact. Brian worked with us for over a year to plan the wedding and Jeana was our day-of staff who helped make the day go very smoothly. We would highly recommend this staff and this venue to anyone researching beautiful and reasonably priced wedding venues in the D.C. metro area. Brian was amazingly flexible and provided a number of different options for how to set up the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I'm not a very a trusting person when it comes to business but Brian (and his staff) proved to be worth my trust and everything was amazing!
We had rain the during throughout the day but had enough options so that we would love our "plan B" (which we did not end up needing). We used the newly renovated barn for the dance party after the dinner in the outdoor tent. Both the tent and the barn provided a fantastically dynamic experience for us and for our guests. The outdoor deck was under construction, but Brian provided alternatives so that the cocktail hour was as comfortable for the guests as possible. We received nothing but great positive feedback from our outside day-of-coordinator as well as from the guests about how great the venue and staff at Stoneleigh really were.

Beautiful venue. Brian was great to work with and very accomodating at first. But, on the day before the wedding, when I was hoping to be stress-free....he went back on a lot of things we had already agreed on, such as the placement of the reception table and etc. He and another staff member were also very rude to my coordinator when she asked something of them.
Furthermore, when I had visited the venue a few weeks before my wedding, I saw a few staff members smoking under the tent where my reception was going to be held.
Although it was a beautiful venue, I wish the staff had been more professional.

Stoneleigh was a beautiful venue for our ceremony and reception! The rolling green hills, rustic barns, and historic stonework all made for a wonderful backdrop that blended casual and elegant just perfectly for our wedding. Guests are still commenting on how beautiful it was, and the pictures are just gorgeous. It has character and personality, which I like so much better than an impersonal hotel ballroom. The stone wall around the courtyard where the ceremony and reception are held made it feel like we were in our own little world, no intrusions from whatever else might have been going on at the club that day.
Brian was very helpful and accommodating - he offered great suggestions, but ultimately said "whatever you want, we'll make it happen." On the night before and day of, Rex (?) was so attentive and responsive, taking care of all of our last minute needs and arrangements. The evening turned a little chilly, so they quickly adjusted, moving the cocktail hour indoors. They do this all the time, and they clearly know what they're doing.
I liked that it was "one stop shopping" for both the ceremony and reception - they took care of the food, tent, tables, linens, heaters, etc. so I didn't have to coordinate separate vendors for each. And when you factor everything in, the price was very reasonable.
I liked that we could set decorations and things up the night before, which made for much less "day of" scrambling and stress. It's a little remote from nearby towns or hotels, but I got a shuttle bus for my guests, which worked perfectly. Oh, and the food was delicious! I didn't actually eat it on my wedding day, but the tasting was fantastic and my guests were pleased and impressed.
I'm very happy that I chose Stoneleigh, and I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for this type of venue!

Stoneleigh was the perfect place for our daughter’s wedding! It was so nice to have both the ceremony and reception all in one location. It was absolutely beautiful! It was the first place we actually visited and knew from the beginning that this was where it would be held. The views of the golf course, the old barn, courtyard was very picturesque.
All of our guests loved the venue and the food; they have not stopped complimenting everything about the wedding. The food at Stoneleigh was so amazing and delicious. We did the buffet and it worked out great! There was plenty of food for everyone and we even took home leftovers! Although plated food is just as good, the buffet is just the way to go!
Brian Baer was great to work with! His professionalism and knowledge was exceptional. He was always available when needed. I can honestly say he went above and beyond on making sure this wedding would be flawless. We started planning the wedding way in advance which allowed us to make sure all of our i’s were dotted and t’s crossed; Brian offered suggestions that we hadn’t thought of which was very beneficial in helping everything look and run smoothly. The catering staff and bar tenders at Stoneleigh that helped out on the day of the wedding were very professional, organized, attentive and courteous. Everything that was requested was done.
I would highly recommend Stoneleigh for couples looking to have an outdoor wedding. It is amazing on how a tent can be transformed into something elegant and beautiful. The cost to have the wedding was very reasonable. Other local venue prices could not compare to what Stoneleigh had to offer. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I'm so happy we chose Stoneleigh!
