Meg and Ed were absolutely amazing. So welcoming, helpful, supportive, and easy going. We had our wedding here and it was exactly what we wanted. Meg and Ed treat everyone and ever...
ything with such warmth and love. We received so many compliments about how beautiful the barn and grounds were.
My sisters and I stayed in one of the barn rooms the night before the wedding and we received a flawless breakfast set up inside the Inn in the morning. It was perfect.💕
We met Meg about a year before the wedding. Although I went to high school in Hillsborough, for some reason I was not aware of the Stonewall Farm Bed and Breakfast. My mom and I ...
met Meg and we looked at the facility and grounds. Immediately I was in love. I was thinking to myself, "This is perfect!!". Meg showed us around and spent whatever time we needed. I went home and talked my fiance, he wasn't able to make the trip to NH with me but trusted my choice. My father was aging and lived in Hillsborough and not able to travel for the wedding. It was so affordable... we agreed and booked it. This was the place!!! I was so excited.
In the months that followed Meg was there whenever I called and made me feel great about our decision. She offered suggestions for catering, tent rentals, etc. Also giving ideas in areas I was having problems with. Meg was becoming a friend.
Fast forward to wedding weekend. We arrive to NH on Friday and we had talked to Ed and Meg beforehand.... they said go ahead on site and do what you need to do. We were waiting for the tent to arrive. While we were waiting we took a nice walk down the beautiful country road. It was August and everything was in bloom and so pretty. The tent arrived and we went about our business with family. Everything was falling into place perfectly!
From a bride's perspective, here's the wedding day.... We had all the rooms booked. And let me tell you, it felt like home. Well, home with a bunch more luxury added in! Our room was so cozy and comfortable. Meg was around while all the girls got ready in our room. She just felt like family. And from then just everything flowed. When it was time to walk down the "aisle", she was there, encouraging, telling me just what to do.
After that, it was pictures, intro bride and groom, toast, then PARTY!!! Meg and Ed were there the whole time!!! Here's my take away: I was married once before. Getting married at the Stonewall Farm Bed and Breakfast was like getting married at home. Meg and Ed melded into the wedding like family. I felt so comfortable with them. It didn't feel like "business". If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.
Meg and Ed are genuine people. They care about their clients and they are just fun to be around! If anyone asked if I recommend the Stonewall Farm Bed and Breakfast, I would say a whole hearted YES!!!!
Thank you Meg and Ed for making our day so super awesome!! We love you!!!!
