Stonewall was the absolute perfect place to have our wedding day! We wanted a place that allowed our loved ones to come & relax, be at ease & have convenience with the location & accommodations being on-site. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the kindest greetings & offered assistance for almost everything we were doing. The staff went above & beyond to make sure everything was as perfect as possible for us. The guys enjoyed golfing on the Arnold Palmer Course while the ladies enjoyed the pool & relaxing on the patio overlooking the lake for a couple days before the wedding. We also were provided with a storage room (conference room) from the time we arrived & were not rushed to move back out of it the day after the wedding, which was amazing because we had ALOT of decor with us. Kelli Trumbull is the absolute BEST event coordinator. From day 1 she was my go-to point of contact & she truly cares about you & making sure your wedding day is the most special it could possibly be. She is so easy to work with & I truly felt like she has known us for years. She was always just an email or text away & never failed to respond quickly & with answers! She also remembers all the little things & takes note of important personal touches that go just a step extra for you. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Terrace Patio & it was the perfect space. It gave us privacy & allowed everything to remain low key. The staff were all so helpful & always offered extra assistance throughout the evening. Our wedding day was so special. We had our ceremony in the Grand Hall (lobby) & WOW the views! It was the most perfect space for our ceremony. The high ceilings & beams give a heavy Cathedral vibe. You cannot go wrong choosing this space! Our reception was in the Stonewall Ballroom with the foyer & patio open all night as well as the space for the cocktail hour. Everything was stunning! Our bridal party spent the day getting ready in the Presidential Suite, which by the way is huge! PERFECT space for 10+ ladies to get ready with a huge living room, dining table & kitchenette, 2 bathrooms & king bedroom suite with a couch! I stayed there with my sister Friday night, then Tyler & I stayed there on wedding night! AND of course, Kelli took note that my favorite thing on TJ Muskies menu are the blackberry BBQ boneless wings & surprised us with 2 orders plus 2 to go orders that were waiting in the room for us at the end of the night! Mind blown. The groomsmen were provided with a conference room space that was perfect for them to get ready equipped with hanging rack, counter tops & mirrors. This space was directly across from the reception so it was available for us all night to keep our belongings as well! You can’t go wrong booking stonewall for your wedding! A few additional staff members to shout out — Bill, Amanda, Allison, Cora, Ginny, Sophia, Donna, Grace, TJ Muskies bartenders, Banquet Staff, the 3 guys (didn’t catch their names) that setup/tear down the ballroom. I highly recommend Stonewall for your wedding! The setting is absolutely perfect. We had family come from DC, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, and WV. Every guest was blown away by the resort. There were activities for every interest. Kelli, the catering manager, was so accommodating and always available to answer our questions. She thought of everything and was so easy to work with. I also love that this venue can accommodate for all types of weddings, whether big or small, fancy or casual. The food was great at every event. I had multiple guests tell me it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. My family from NJ plans to spread the word about the gem that is Stonewall. I encourage everyone to strongly consider it for your wedding!

Kelli Trumbull, the event coordinator at Stonewall Resort made our wedding absolutely perfect and exceeded our expectations. Our lake house was spectactulator with a breathtaking view. Kelli and the rest of the staff at Stonewall Resort were nothing short of amazing. From day one of scouting locations to the day we left the resort we felt completely taken care of. Everyone was helpful, attentive and enthusiastic in their given tasks. We knew we'd enjoy the experience when we would tell our various vendors the location of our wedding and they would all immediately respond "I love that place". Food was amazing and the service unmatched. We used the Lightburn Patio and restaurant as our venues and were completely blown away at how amazing it all turned out. If you have the opportunity to spend anytime here, let alone for a wedding, I would highly encourage you to do so. Kelli and her team were there to answer any questions and in a timely fashion. I was more unless on my own for decorating but Kelli and Mason set up the arch and put my decor on it for us while I was getting my hair done They asked and just didn't assume if the dance floor was big enough and added to it. The food and the food service was outstanding. They were on the spot, nobody had to wait ever and every order was correct They lodge porter Brian was there for us every step of the way. The main manager came and introduced himself to me the night before the wedding and was just so kind. The ypungblady that works the little coffe/bistro is a gem!!! Just such a caring and friendly lady might I add she even was there to bring a cart to us and she also opened the room where my girls and I were getting ready Kelli and our DJ Alex ONeill just work so well together and make it so that every thing runs smooth Can't say enough. I had one glitch but it is ok! I would recommend Stonewall Resort if it is a beautiful smooth running wedding that you want

Stonewall Resort was the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding. From the moment we met with Kelli to the morning we checked out, absolutely everything was wonderful. Absolutely stunning venue!! Great staff that is so easy to work with. Planning a wedding could be very stressful at times but Kelli and her staff took a great load off our shoulders. Stonewall is a state of the art facility with great interactive entertainment for all ages. The cozy cottages for both bridal parties to stay together are awesome. Great golf at the Palmer Course for the guys along with the stunning spa for the girls, Stonewall has the ball rolling with a great venue for your special day!

This venue is PERFECT in every way! From the accommodations for guests (reasonable, comfortable, and beautiful), to the activities (Sporting Clays for the gentlemen and amazing hairstylists and lunch for the women), to the dining options (in-room and dining rooms both exquisite), to, most importantly, the venues for the rehearsal dinner and wedding — wow wow wow! Kelli Trumbull and the entire staff went beyond the expected to anticipate our every need. The ceremony site in the main lobby (gorgeous inside and views for days!) was stunning. The ballroom was wonderful and THAT FOOD! So delish! My daughter and I went into this “wedding thing” prepared to do a lot of work, but with the staff at Stonewall practically at our disposal, it was a breeze! They say you get what you pay for, but this place is a bargain considering the extra care the staff gave to us and our guests. (One example: Kelli asked if my daughter’s young sons had special food requests, and I casually mentioned that they like root beer. At each event/venue, there were special bottles of root beer on ice!). Communication during the planning stages was top-notch: we would shoot Kelli an email with a question, in no hurry for a response, and moments later there would be answers and suggestions. A few additional touches that made the weekend easier: - a storage room available days before the wedding so we could keep all of our “stuff” there prior to set-up and after tear-down - bellmen who carried all of our wedding “stuff” (cake, floral arrangements, decor items, etc.) without batting an eye— and they remembered our names throughout the weekend and were so kind! - very efficient and knowledgeable front desk and catering services staffs - shuttle bus to take guests to activities and to the on-site cabins (and those cabins were fabulous!) - a room for little ones to take a break adjacent to the reception so they could have a snack/quiet place - rooms adjacent to the ceremony site for bridal party/groomsmen prior to the ceremony - two beautiful suites available to rent for bridal party and groomsmen to get dressed in - even though the ceremony is in the main lobby, it was intimate and made “our space” with gorgeous semi-sheer tall curtains that allowed for the bride’s special entrance and for privacy from other guests - every staff member was thoughtful, helpful, and efficient I’m running out to space for more words to describe this venue, so I’ll leave one last thought: GO TO STONEWALL! It is the perfect wedding spot!

We had our reception at the Lightburn's Restaurant on the resort campus. it was phenomenal. A beautiful venue, even without many decorations. The space was perfect for our small, 40 person wedding. The staff was amazing and I was told many times by my guests how great they were. Before and after the event, the staff was incredibly helpful.

All I can say is WOW! Just hosted our daughters wedding this past weekend. Kelli Trumbull was So On The Ball with every detail.. We had so many people coming in from other states and the resort was completely accommodating to every request. The banquet staff, bar tenders, front desk and everyone in between… outstanding!!

Stonewall made for an absolutely beautiful wedding weekend. If you have people traveling in that will want to make a weekend of the event, I highly recommend! It gave friends and family plenty to do. The Stonewall staff (Kelli & Joe) in particular were very accommodating to our requests and helped us pull off not only the most beautiful, but fun wedding. The food was amazing, portions were large and all the guests raved about it! Couldn't be more pleased with having my wedding there.

Our daughter was married at Stonewall Resort in June 2022. The first time we made contact with Kelli Trumbell and Joe Corcogaliniti, we knew this was where her wedding would be held. Our search for the perfect destination was over. They were so organized, professional and compassionate. They wanted this wedding to be as special as we did. Our desire was to have a wonderful wedding weekend, full of fun and celebration for our family and friends, and obviously Stonewall was the clear choice. During the planning stages, Kelli answered all of our questions, provided clear and concise information, and led us through the process with professionalism. Many of our family and friends stayed from Thursday through Sunday enjoying all the activities that Stonewall has to offer, which are many. We rented a beautiful house while others stayed at the lodge - all accommodations were perfect! The rehearsal dinner was held at Lightburns, ceremony in the Grand Hall, and the reception in the ballroom. This became a destination wedding in our own backyard. Every detail was managed by Kelli and her staff. My family and I did not have to worry about a thing - they made sure our time at Stonewall was relaxing and enjoyable. The food was absolutely amazing!!! The restaurants, breakfast, rehearsal dinner, appetizers and dinner for the wedding were above and beyond delicious! Our guests are still talking about the wonderful food and hospitality. We are so fortunate to have Stonewall Resort in our area. It is an affordable, luxury resort in the beautiful hills of West Virginia. They say Stonewall is far from ordinary, which is so true. I would rank them as exceptional! The wedding was amazing and it is all thanks to Kelli and the amazing staff at Stonewall Resort!

My daughter had her dream wedding at Stonewall Resort this past weekend. It was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. We, and a lot of our guests, stayed 3 nights and it was an unforgettable weekend. Kelli and Joe, along with their staff, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I was blown away by the attention to detail and how accommodating everyone was. They were truly amazing and I will be forever grateful that we chose Stonewall Resort. Our wedding guests raved about the food from the appetizers to entrees, everything was delicious. Kelli was right there throughout the entire process making sure we had everything we needed, just really can’t say enough about her, she was amazing and her attention to detail is over the top incredible. Joe and his staff were top notch and so incredible to work with. This was the first wedding I have ever planned and I learned one very important lesson- No matter how many months you spend planning and preparing for every little detail or how beautiful your venue or decorations are-it is the team of people, like Kelli and the staff at Stonewall Resort that make everything turn out perfectly. From the start, Stonewall employees went above and beyond to ensure that our special day was everything we dreamed of from Kelli, who helped us plan out the rehearsal, ceremony, storage, dressing rooms and reception, to Phil, who drove us around the property to get wedding day photos including the "secret spot." We can't say enough about the other staff as well, we had a few guests with reservation issues and they handled it with professionalism and courtesy. As a wedding with two brides, we were made to feel comfortable through our wedding weekend. I would highly recommend this venue!

Our big date was originally set for August of 2020 but due to COVID-19 we had to push it into 2021. Kelly helped us worked through the changes. In the midst of a labor the Stonewall Resort staff did an incredible job. We had a international group and everyone enjoyed themselves. We received so many compliments on the meal. Stonewall was able to create a menu to accommodate all the dietary restrictions we had (vegan and food allergies). Our reception at Lightburns which is such a beautiful space, with awesome views of the resort. The service staff were expedient serving our sit down meal. At one point one of young guest disappeared (we thought) and they dropped everything to help us search, it was so enlightening to see their concern for the situation. The staff was very tentative during the reception and never give us impression that they wanted us to shut thing down even as we went late into the evening. We are looking forward to coming back for our anniversary.

We could not have been happier with Stonewall for our wedding venue. Everyone on staff was so kind and helpful. The staff at Lightburns, where we had the ceremony, was on the ball and set everything up to my instructions beautifully. They consistently checked on us throughout the reception to see if we needed anything. We had a great experience outside of the wedding as well. We stayed three nights and visited all three restaurants and the coffee shop, ordered room service, went to the spa, and spent time in the pool area and gift shop. Everything was wonderful.

When we began looking at venues, we knew we wanted something all-inclusive and a place where our guests would get a fantastic dinner. Originally, we had booked a venue in Pittsburgh, PA. However, because of COVID and the restrictions in PA, we were not going to be able to have the wedding we dreamt of. In July 2020, we received recommendations about Stonewall Resort from our vendors. Thankfully, we were able to replan our wedding at a new venue with all the vendors we had already booked with the help of their Sales Catering Manager, Kelli! Kelli was very responsive as we finalized details of our special day. Stonewall gave our guests amazing views, delicious food, and a wonderful place for us to gather to celebrate!

Everything was PERFECT!! Of course Stonewall is in the most beautiful setting, but the staff made our daughters wedding perfect!! We had the ceremony in the Grand Hall, the reception in the ballroom. Everyone at Stonewall made sure that we had everything we needed. Kelli Trumbull and her support staff went above and beyond!! The ballroom was set up and ready by the morning of the wedding--so helpful! This meant that we could have the reception and cocktail spaces ready early in the day. Planning was made less stressful because of the scheduled contacts with Kelli leading up to the event. This venue was a perfect fit for what our daughter and her husband needed! Beautiful, encompassing nature, on site lodging and dining for guests, and the feeling of being home. Highly recommend Stonewall Resort!!

I am so happy with the decision to have my wedding at Stonewall! We had a small intimate ceremony/reception with around 25 people. The staff was super attentive and caring. They never made us feel unimportant for having a smaller gathering. We all stayed on-site and the accommodations were beautiful. Would absolutely recommend Stonewall to anyone looking for a beautiful WV wedding.

We highly recommend Stonewall Resort for a wedding reception! We had our wedding reception in the ballroom and it was everything we could have asked for. The service was wonderful, great food, and kind staff. Kelli (Event Coordinator) was very professional, easy to work with, and very helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process and on the day of the wedding. I do not know what else to say other than we had the BEST weekend of our lives. My husband and I were married at Stonewall in September despite the pandemic. To keep our wedding at Stonewall and power through and plan was the best decision. Kelli and her team were amazing. Kelli and I worked hand and hand almost every other day for a year and a half and she was phenomenal. Everything we asked or did, she made our dreams come true. Seriously we cannot say enough. We ended up spending Wednesday- Monday at the resort. Our friends and family made it a long weekend as well, staying at the cabins and the lodge. We boated all day and partied all night. It was a weekend we will never forget because of how special Stonewall made it. Venue, Food, Alcohol, everything was top notch. We loved Stonewall Resort

I cannot rave enough about this destination for a wedding. We had the entirety of our wedding weekend here: welcome party, ceremony, reception, and farewell brunch. Everything was absolutely perfect. Kelli Trumbull worked with me for over a year and a half to make this weekend everything I hoped to be and more. Even when the pandemic came around, she was flexible and helped us navigate through this challenging time. She was super responsive and super on top of the everything! Which definitely put me at ease. The staff at Stonewall was incredible- they were friendly and worked incredibly hard to make all our guests feel welcome and taken care of. We felt taken care of the entire weekend and if anything unexpected came up, they were on top of it. We had so many guests tell us that this was one of the best weddings they had been to! We are still on cloud nine. My husband and I would highly recommend Stonewall Resort for their wedding.

I recently got married at Stonewall, and it was the most perfect wedding weekend ever. We had a rehearsal dinner and welcome party the night before our wedding and a brunch on Sunday morning after our wedding. Every event had the best food, drinks, and service. Kelli Trumbull and the staff at Stonewall made sure everything was flawless throughout the planning process and especially during the entire weekend of my wedding. Every guest commented on how beautiful the resort was and how friendly the resort staff was. We could not have asked for a better venue.

Planning a wedding during a Pandemic certainly was no easy task, and the staff at Stonewall Resort and Kelli Trumbull were nothing but exceptional! Their calm demeanor and professionalism helped my husband and myself feel at ease planning and having our wedding. They made sure all our expectations were met, as well as made sure every guest felt safe during the Pandemic. Kelli also helped us with an unexpected passing in our wedding party days before our wedding, helping take care of food and accommodation adjustments-which was above and beyond what was expected of her. I can’t express enough how wonderful Stonewall Resort is. In my opinion, the best place in WV to have your wedding!

All of our guests from out of state were overwhelmed with the beauty and accommodations provided. 5 stars isn't enough to express how amazing Kelli and the staff of Stonewall Resort and Lightburns restaurant are! The venue is beautiful, they took care of everything from beginning to end. They made it very stress free. My husband and I kept saying how perfect the entire day was. The food was out of this world, and they provided a fun reception and party. Our guests were taken care of all evening. I would definitely recommend Stonewall Resort to any couple planning a wedding.

Nothing was ever to much to ask her for. If we had questions she always got back to us immediately. She was there during the wedding and reception. She took care of everything! She made sure every detail was perfect. Tamika and her crew at Lightburns (Reception) went above and beyond before, during and after the reception. Oh. My. Gosh. I can't even begin to scratch the surface on how fantastic our wedding at Stonewall was! The entire process from start to finish, from initial contact to checking out at the end of our stay, was an absolute 10 star experience. It was incredibly easy to communicate with staff, we had an extremely clear idea of the itinerary from start to finish, and everyone, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff to the bartender at our reception to the recommended vendors we hired to the spa/salon staff to the kind folks that helped us clear the reception hall when we were finished, were so kind and made it clear that they were at our service if we needed anything. So many people talk about how stressful their wedding day was, but having our special day at Stonewall made it 100% stress free (and as a very anxious and type A bride, this is saying something). Everything was beautiful, and every staff member that worked with us went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Also: MAJOR bonus points to sales manager Kelli Trumbull for helping us locate some missing items right before we checked out! It was a very last minute ordeal that she handled so quickly. I would trust her with any major event you plan to host. Summary: Book your big day at Stonewall! You won't regret it.

I had the most beautiful wedding at Stonewall Resort. Kelli at Stonewall was there anytime I needed her on my wedding day to make sure I had everything I needed. The staff were helpful in providing food options for my family with food allergies. They were polite, easy to work with and made me feel like a princess. The architecture in the grand hall is beautiful and the scenery outside of the resort is beautiful- mountains for miles. We arrived back to our room that night with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. I recommend Stonewall Resort.

Stonewall is absolutely beautiful, but be prepared to do EVERYTHING yourself and plan every little detail, as their assigned coordinator was of ZERO help for the planning process. It was like pulling teeth planning with her for 14+ months. We had various things go wrong during our wedding, luckily mostly behind the scenes. The catering manager/coordinator wasn't even on site during the reception, so catering staff had no clue what they were supposed to be doing. Very sad to host ~250 people and to be left feeling like you're of zero importance to the venue.

I want to start out by saying what a dream come true our weddinf day was! My husband is from the area but I am not. When choosing where we wanted to have our wedding I knew I wanted somewhere that my family who was traveling in could park their car on day 1 and enjoy the rest of their visit without traveling anymore! Kelli was excellent to work with and I am so glad that we had her there every step of the way! With that being said there were a few things that made us upset. We chose to get married outside but had to also book the lobby in case of bad weather ... this meant we had to pay for both locations even if we didnt use one of them- which was very pricey! The day before our wedding we found out that the ballroom was being used the day of our wedding until early afternoon... this caused issues for our florist who was coming in the morning to bring the boquets and assemble our center pieces. Our florist was told he could set up at a specific time and then when he arrived it was still hours before he could get in!!! We purchased 4 vendor meals for our 2 photographers and 2 Dj’s- when it was time to eat my photographer came up to me and told me she was going down to the bar to grab something to eat- I told her we purchased meals for them, turns out they were then given meals for 4 people who didnt show up. And the most frustrating part is that my wedding was paid in full prior to the event and someone had the nerve to go up to my dad in the middle of the reception with a bill!!! This was very unprofessional. My dad lives out of state and was staying at the resort for another 2 days after the wedding ...

Stonewall Resort is an absolutely gorgeous venue, and was the perfect setting for our boho-themed wedding!! The staff that worked the wedding was so kind and courteous, and truly went above and beyond the call of duty. They were a true pleasure to be around. Every detail was kept exactly to specification, and the staff was prompt and professional. The one thing I would have changed would have been having the extra food from our buffet packaged up to keep for our many guests to enjoy the remainder of the weekend. My Mom asked for the extra food, however, it was too late and it had already been cleared. One staff member did, however, go and grab a couple of “To Go” boxes for us, that were filled with food from the Stillwater’s buffet. I wish I would have communicated better our desire to have the extra leftovers. Other than that, everything was truly a dream come true! To say our wedding at Stonewall was perfect is truly an understatement and does not adequately convey how incredible the staff is. From the very beginning, at the October 2017 bridal open house, we knew - all of us including my now husband and both our parents - that we would be getting married at Stonewall. The bridal open house was so instrumental in showcasing the amazing vendors, the incredible food, and getting to ask Kelli Trumball all of our questions. We actually left that day knowing who our DJ would be (Alex O’Neal), who would be playing music at our ceremony (Key to Adam), and who would be providing our wedding cake and cupcakes (Bonnie Belle’s). After seeing how the Grand Hall was decorated as well, we knew that was where we wanted to say “I do.” After we left that day, Kelli was honestly the most helpful and kind individual we encountered throughout the entire planning process. She answered every question we had, always made sure we were on the same page, and made planning a wedding at Stonewall rather enjoyable instead of incredible stressful how one may expect it to be. Her sitting down with us at the Details meeting, and even being present and available before our ceremony was so incredibly wonderful, and because we didn’t have to worry about anything due to the incredibly detailed timeline of events she curated for us, we were just able to really enjoy and take in our wedding day for every special moment that transpired. The food - THE FOOD- at Stonewall is incredible. Our taste testing was so productive and we tried so many options, that we left we zero doubt regarding our selections. On the day of, numerous guests told us that the happy hour food and plated entrees were the best wedding food they ever had. The staff at Stonewall, particularly at Lightburns, is THE BEST staff we have ever encountered at any restaurant or resort. My husband and I have gone to Stonewall many times, and being familiar with the staff made the whole weekend affair that much more enjoyable because the staff seemed genuinely happy to be helping us celebrate our marriage. From the planning stages, to the execution of events on our wedding day, things could not have been more perfect. The resort is a lovely, calm place to stay, but the staff at Stonewall is truly what makes it such a wonderful place to gather your family and friends to celebrate a marriage. The whole getting married experience at Stonewall could not have been more enjoyable, and we look forward to being able to return to it numerous times throughout our lives as a now married couple.

The staff went above and beyond expectations. No changes were made without my consent. For example we had donuts for our guest. The vendor that made the donuts did not put holes in the middle so they couldn't be hung on the pegs on our wall. I was notified right away of the problem and was offered a solution. With my ok they took the time to punch holes using a shot glass. That was just one of many things that they did for us. The staff also were polite, friendly, and helpful.

Our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect. We had the time of our lives, and the whole experience working with Stonewall was phenomenal! Kelli did an amazing job, answered all my questions and emails right away, and made what can be a very stressful time, stress-free. We got married in the Grand Hall and just...wow it was such a pretty venue for the ceremony. It ended up being cold that day so I'm so happy it was inside, the big windows still provided the scenery and the tall wood ceilings are just beautiful. My reception was in the ballroom which was the perfect space for us and it just looked so beautiful with all of our decor set up, even better than I imagined. All of that combined with the scenery outside by the lake (where we took photos, just got my first look and they look amazing) it is really just the perfect venue. It's also great that everything is all in one location so no one has to worry about drinking and driving and there is a bar right downstairs for the after party. It was SO convenient. Also, I would recommend renting one of the cottages for the weekend. My family stayed there and it was the perfect place and backdrop for all of our getting ready photos. And it's right beside the resort so again, very convenient. And they are BEAUTIFUL! We did one of the larger houses. My husbands was right next door too so once I was ready I just walked out and we met for our first look by the lake. Nothing but great things to say about this place, we will never forget our amazing experience!
