Stonewater Cove was the perfect place for my dream wedding. The location is as good as it gets. The lake views, sunsets and the mix of rustic and luxury of the lodge made the wedding one that everyone who attended said was “unforgettable”. The location was perfect for the wedding pictures and I have some beautiful pictures with lake and forest backgrounds. Randi and everyone else at Stonewater Cove went out of their way to make the day exactly what I wanted. I had the wedding in the pavilion, the cocktail hour by the pool, dinner upstairs in the lodge and dancing downstairs. The staff was so considerate with all of our (many) requests…switching rooms, driving the elderly guests from place to place so they didn’t have to walk, bringing a manicurist in to pamper the bridesmaids, setting up my gift bags in all the guest rooms, putting a movie on for the kids in the theater room while the adults danced, even fishing a champagne cork out of the trash for me the day after the wedding when I decided I wanted that keepsake….the list goes on and on. My extended family and I stayed there for three days before the wedding and there was always something fun for everyone to do. We have already booked a trip back to Stonewater Cove for our one year anniversary and our family plans to go back in 2016 to celebrate my parent’s 30th anniversary. I love that we had our wedding in a place that we can return to every year for a little getaway!
Was in contact via email with Randi; when we went to tour the property she was not there and the gal that gave us a tour (she was very nice) but knew nothing about the wedding packages nor could she answer any questions. We asked the gal to have Randi call so we could ask her some questions, which she never did - so I sent Randi a follow up email.
She said packages are customizable, I sent her some of the things that would fit best with us and have not heard back from her since.
Very disappointed. Do not recommend.
