I would like you to know that Leann (the Event Coordinator) did a PHENOMENAL job. She answered so many phone calls and emails from me and my parents. She never made us feel like a burden, but took care of every request and always got back to us in a timely manner. Alex and I had so many compliments on our day, and we wouldn't have changed a thing! The weekend was absolutely perfect. I want Leann to know how grateful we are that she was our coordinator! She was very good with catching details and asking me any questions to clarify our vision for the weekend. We will 1000% be recommending this to others. The ladies at the front desk and bar were also wonderful. They were super nice, friendly, and professional. I can't say THANK YOU enough! Even housekeeping went above and beyond for us, being super friendly in the halls and taking care of our suite. Stoney Creek has always been one of our favorite places to stay, and now has a special in our hearts. We appreciate all you did for us! THANK YOU, LEANN and team!!

ofessional and made the experience stressful. Leann was difficult to work with, often saying one thing to me and something else to others, and added surprise charges. Staff were rude to my vendors (DJ, photographer, caterer) and even forced my caterer to wash dishes after charging a $5/person “clean-up fee.” Because of this, I didn’t get my leftover food, and my cupcakes were set out too early, so I missed my cake cutting photos. When mistakes happened, staff gave us attitude instead of fixing them, and I even lost personal items in the rushed cleanup at the end of the night. I spent months carefully planning every detail and providing clear instructions, yet so many things still went wrong. Beautiful space and great bartender, but the coordination and staff behavior ruined the experience. Brides, be warned.

have our guests be able to go up to their rooms if they needed a rest or a change of clothes. The food was wonderful, decorations and venue were perfect! I would definitely recommend Stoney Creek as a place to get married.

great hotel! we had everything from the rehearsal dinner to the reception here. it was easy and convenient. however, we did have a few small hiccups. the chair covers and sashes we...

ren't put on and ready the morning we went to decorate like we were told they were. the glasses were dirty, we got dirty pitchers with dried red stains that did not look like ketchup on them, and the votives they we're supposed to have out we're not put out. there was also no event manager on site that morning like we were told there would be. noone informed us of this until we asked about it. they we're to air out the hotel of cinnamon as I am highly allergic, but it was not aired out the night before. communication needs works big time but overall we had a great time.

She answered all of our questions...there was a lot from everyone in the group that went. She really put our mind at ease and made it an easy choice to pick Stoney Creek for our wedding and reception. We can't wait to tie the knot.

I just got married this past Saturday and had the reception at Stoney Creek Inn. I would highly recommend this venue for those couples who want to celebrate their union in a lodge...

-like, warm and cozy environment. My now husband (it feels great to type that) and I are very outdoors people and fell in love with the interior and service that Stoney Creek had to offer. Our wedding coordinator was Maggie Denison and she is absolutely amazing. She had the answers to all my questions and replied promptly to any emails I sent with calm reassuring words! The caterer we used was The Radish located in Grimes, IA and we had so many compliments about the food and how wonderful it was. Being the bride, you expect to be bombarded with last minute questions or things that were going wrong but I had zero! I was able to walk into Stoney Creek and enjoy it all with my family and friends. It was absolutely beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate the start of my new life with my husband. Thank you Stoney Creek Staff and especially Maggie for making it all happen! :)

were reasonably priced and they were able to accommodate most wishes. The reception hall looked beautiful and everything went as smoothly as it could thanks to the staff at Stoney Creek!

They are all amazing to work with and Stoney Creek itself is incredible! We love their hospitality and they truly know how to take care of their guests! I DEFINITELY recommend them!

We loved having our wedding at Stoney Creek Inn. They were sooo helpful! They had white lights lit up on all the trees around the room which added so much elegance to the room. ...

It was nice they had different packages to choose from. We chose to use their centerpiece vases/bowls and mirrors on the tables which helped cut costs of purchasing that on our own. All we had to do was figure out what we wanted for centerpieces, buy the extra things that went into that look, and bring them in and explain what we wanted, and they put together over 60 centerpieces for us!! They did a beautiful job decorating our head table, cake table and present table with white lights. We also had beautiful white pillars behind our head table that were lit up and decorated by them. I also really appreciated them setting out over 400 table favors on everyone's plate for us. Everything was beautiful the day of the wedding, and it was nice to have a gorgeous honey moon suite with Champagne and pizza at the end of the night! Thanks Stoney Creek Inn for helping us plan and have our perfect day!
