e I had. Brookelyn and Kourtney both went silent and did not answer calls or emails. Booking was a nightmare and online reservations were always a mess, online it would say there were no rooms left in my block (when there were many left) and my mother was yelled at on the phone by a man at the front desk telling her she could not book a room for my wedding. My fiancé and I had to drive 45 minutes to the hotel on THREE different occasions to try and get an answer, only for management to have left early and never respond. I would have cancelled the block if it wasn’t so late. In the room the bridal party was getting ready in, late check out was approved of in advance, but thirty minutes before we had to leave to get to the venue we were kicked out of the room and told our time was up. We had to gather everything in 10 minutes and move it to the grooms room. Truly the worst experience and I could not recommend it any less, save your time and money.

I also appreciated working with their events coordinator, Kaylie. She was very responsive and went out of her way to make my event exactly as I wanted it. The ballroom was the perfect size for our wedding of 200 guests and the outdoor space made for stunning photos. Mataya the events coordinator was absolutely amazing to work with. She was friendly and helpful especially for ideas in things I wasn’t sure on as the bride. She responded quickly to any questions and concerns and her team was on top of it the day of! The only glitch for us was the change of coordinators 3 times while we were planning but it was a smooth transition and each one was able to pick up right where we left off with no issues. Other than making me feel stressed it was not a problem at all. Our gift bags did not get handed out to everyone in our room block also but again a minor detail. The only downfall was that we worked with three different venue coordinators in my 18 months of planning. I suppose this industry is a high turnover and burn out industry. However, I must say, each new coordinator picked up where the last one left off.

They were always courteous and helpful. We had the ceremony and reception at the Stoney Creek, which was affordable and convenient. The staff took care of all set-up, take-down, cake cutting, dance floor, and even setting up extra snack food in the evening with no extra charge. The staff checked in with us throughout the planning process and during the wedding to make sure we were satisfied. We felt confident with their business when planning for the wedding and had a very memorable day.We highly recommend The Stoney Creek Inn.

The staff were professional and the setup was great. We probably had about 40 people there for the dinner and the room that was provided for us was the perfect size. Also, the location was perfect for any guests who attended the dinner that were also staying at the hotel since they didn't have to travel far. I'd definitely recommend this as a location for the rehearsal dinner.
