I found Stoney Ridge Villa through the knot and since my first walk through of the venue I just knew it’s where I wanted my wedding. Missy (the venue owner) was amazing, she is so sweet and personal and really made the process a breeze. She was so helpful the day of our wedding and still keeps up with us through our new journey. The venue was absolutely stunning and truly gave me my dream wedding vision. It’s in Azle, Tx a quiet little town where everyone knows everyone. She gave us a vendor list and most of the vendors we picked were close with Missy and her husband which was so helpful when it came to wedding day and preparation. Truly thankful we found this spot and highly recommend to anyone looking for their future weddings.

Stoney Ridge Villa is a stunning place to get married. Not only that, but the owner and team take tremendous care of you throughout the entire planning process and the day of! We were married here in May and it was the most amazing and perfect day in no small part to the stunning venue and wonderful venue staff! Missy helped me in planning with their comprehensive recommended vendor list as well as being super communicative and caring with any questions I had throughout! Our sneak peak photos are stunning with the beautiful surroundings of the villa and the getting ready suites are so pretty, practical, and spacious! If you get the chance to visit as a wedding guest or even better- to plan your wedding with the help of this beautiful place and staff you will not be disappointed! Stoney Ridge Villa is absolutely the place to go! We planned our wedding from Nebraska. Missy worked with us every step of the way and was absolutely fantastic!!! It was a bit overwhelming but she helped put everything at ease, worked super hard to make sure everything went perfectly during the planning phases and the day of. Every last minute email I sent saying we would be in town, requesting to see the place with someone new for planning...she made it work. The venue is beautiful, requires minimal decorations, and every single one of our guests said it was the best wedding they had attended. 10/10 would recommend planning your wedding here.

The owners are incredibly kind and dedicated, always going above and beyond to ensure their couples have the best day possible. Their care and support truly make a difference. From a photographer's perspective, the spacious bridal suite is a dream for getting ready shots, and the venue itself offers stunning views at every turn. The rooftop is perfect for sunset portraits, while the Spanish courtyard and hidden corners provide beautiful spots for photos throughout the day.

This is THE MOST beautiful wedding venue - without the need for any additional decor or effort put in by the wedding party. It is such a “naturally” beautiful place to get married with picturesque views and unique backdrops throughout the venue. Both for my own wedding and during weddings of friends, I repeatedly have heard guests talk about how breathtaking everything is. The venue is also so special in that every detail is perfectly thought out to ensure the best experience for the bride. Missy’s experience and willingness to offer advice cannot be denied!

Missy was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was constantly running around and finalizing last minute details, but more importantly.... keeping me sane! We had rain about 20 minutes before the ceremony and she went above and beyond to problem solve and make sure our guests were comfortable and well taken care of. The venue was beautiful and perfect for us and our guests. I cant thank her enough for making our day so special. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Missy and Dave were the absolute best!! From the second we met them, they were personable and kind. They were timely on everything, paid attention to detail, and treated us like we were family members. Best venue in the DFW area! Every aspect of Stoney Ridge Villa is so stunning and beautiful. This is a true gem that I could not be more happy that we stumbled upon during our wedding venue search. I also feel that it is a great value and priced very fairly. The venue owner, Missy, could not have been more wonderful. She was so involved and helpful from start to finish with anything and everything we needed. She graciously lets you borrow any of her decor and was a rock star on our wedding day helping to set everything up and make sure that it all ran smoothly. Missy worked with us to make sure that we thought of every aspect of the day and offered help and the best suggestions and ideas when needed. I could not recommend Stoney Ridge Villa more and our wedding guests continue to talk about how amazing our wedding day was! It was truly a dream come true to get married at Stoney Ridge.

I can’t recommend a better place than Stoney Ridge Villa to have a wedding! From the very start when we toured the venue, we knew it was our dream wedding venue. Missy and her husband are both extremely kind and helpful. Missy especially is responsive, organized, communicative, and clearly loves her job and helping others have unforgettable weddings. She went above and beyond to make our wedding a special day and is such a kind and genuine person. Stoney Ridge is gorgeous! Tons of ceremony space options, amazing photo spots, open vendors, and overall dream of a wedding venue. Everyone couldn’t believe what a hidden jem it was, nor could they believe it was in Texas! I won’t forget our beautiful wedding or memories at Stoney Ridge Villa. Stoney Ridge Villa is such a dream venue!! Missy is so easy and wonderful to work with! She thinks of everything and is super responsive and always happy to happy however she can. They run the venue really well - plenty of parking for guests, one of the only venues we looked at with ice onsite (who knew that'd be so rare), little things thought of like multiple steamers in the bridal suite (which is huge and has fantastic lighting for makeup), handle security for you, and have an open vendor policy (except bartenders - the company they required was great though). Just about every guest made a comment to me about how beautiful our wedding venue was. There are so many different backdrops for photos too, which is great. And the tile wall of all the couples married there is such a great idea - you become part of the venue and family. Would absolutely recommend, you won't be let down!

We held our wedding at Stoney Ridge Villa in October 2023 and I'm so glad I chose this location! PROS: - The owner, Missy is friendly, helpful, very responsive to emails, and has great energy. Throughout the entire process, I felt like she really wanted make sure that our day was special. - The venue is absolutely gorgeous. This fit our hacienda vibe and our guests were so impressed! CONS (I really wanted to leave the full 5 stars but there's one thing to note) - On the wedding evening, a bridesmaid had an expensive bottle of champagne missing from the bridal suite. We were ensured that the suite would be locked since we had purses, keys, all belongings there. When asked at the end of the night, Missy informed me that the contract stated security would confiscate all alcohol left in the suite. I did read the contract (in addition to a million other ones leading up to the wedding) so I wish that was reminded to myself & the bridal party on the day of. The champagne wasn't seen again so all we know is that security took it. I felt terrible having to explain this to a bridesmaid considering that we were told everything would be locked away. If belonging's are going to be taken, this is something that should be over-communicated to those in the bridal suite, not just the bride. On the big day, there's just no way I can remind every person about every single detail written in the contract.

Stoney Ridge Villa is the perfect place to have a wedding. We booked over a year in advance and the moment we stepped foot on site and met Missy, we knew this is where we wanted to get married. Missy is extremely communicative and thorough, as well as one of the nicest, most caring individuals I have ever met. She assisted in ensuring our wedding day and all planning up to it was executed seamlessly. If you are even remotely on the fence of booking here or not, just do it! Plus, the views and pictures, BREATHTAKING. All of our guests were blown away by how gorgeous the venue is.

The location is naturally beautiful year round and there’s so many ways to use the space provided. Our wedding was more than I could have imagined and a big part of that was thanks to Stoney Ridge and the owner/coordinators Missy! This place was absolutely stunning and with a price point that is very competitive in comparison to other venues that don’t even come close to the amenities that Stoney Ridge had. It felt like you were in a destination wedding in Europe somewhere when on the rooftop with the rustic and elegant architecture. Then , in plaza area you felt like you were in a Mexican hacienda with all the stone , arches , and greenery! We didn’t need a ton of decor outside because truly the location itself was the perfect place for stunning pictures and entertainment. The owner takes care of making sure things run smoothly and is on top of it all ! She was like a coordinator when we didn’t have one! You can tell this is her passion and she absolutely loves what she does! Everyone raved about how stunning this place was and we couldn’t be happier this was our wedding venue!

Absolutely LOVED not only this venue, but also the venue owner, Missy! The venue itself is beautiful, unique, and gives a very spaniard vibe. Very different than the typical farm/barn wedding venues I found in the DFW area, which is just what we were looking for. It is perfect for holding your whole event from getting ready, to ceremony, to cocktail hour, and dinner/reception. No need to rent out multiple locations, plus with these views, you wouldn't want to. I loved how within one venue, it felt like multiple. The white balcony gives a luxurious clean vibe, which is where we had our ceremony. The courtyard gave spaniard vibes with the large round columns and hanging white backyard lights which was perfect for hanging out and cocktail hour. The reception hall has a stunning mural on the ceiling and was the perfect spot for food, dancing, and photo booth! However, everyone mix and matches where they do these events at the venue, which is the great part, you can’t go wrong! Side note: the venue is animal friendly! Our dog was the best man and we had beer donkeys for our event. Besides the venue being amazing, spacious, and eye catching, our wedding day would not have been possible without the venue owner, Missy. She truly cares about her clients and their families. She is a fresh breathe of air and will be there to help you as much or as little as you possibly need. Although I didn't have a wedding planner, Missy 100% helped ensure the day went off without a hitch! She is a compassionate, loving, and a genuine person. It was a blessing getting to meet her and become her friend through the process. My guests could not stop raving about the location and it was amazing seeing them all dressed up going all around the venue taking photos with their friends and family! Definitely book your tour OR DATE now! :)

If you’re reading reviews to figure out if you should book this venue, I am telling you to BOOK THIS VENUE! I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Stoney Ridge Villa and their team! I recently got married here July 3rd 2022. I found this venue by working here a few times and I absolutely fell in love with it! It was the first on my list and I was so so so happy that they had a date available. This venue is absolutely gorgeous and SO spacious! I loved how there are different areas where you can have a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and you didn’t feel so crammed in 1 space. I really loved how everything was separated! The bridal suite was huge and SO cute! It was perfect for getting all 8 of my bridesmaids, myself, and our mothers ready! We originally wanted to do a destination wedding, however with family members not being able to attend we decided to get married here instead. The venue has a European style to it so it made us feel like we were in a different country! I had so many people ask me if we got married in Italy or Spain because of how GORGEOUS the venue is!! It was breathtaking! It had everything I wanted from the white balcony, to the square, and the hall.. literally PERFECT! My day went so smooth because of my day of coordinator, Missy and Chantel! They were literally the dream team! They took care of everything and made sure we had down every detail down to and truly helped make the day absolutely perfect and run so smoothly. By the end she felt like family, and it is very obvious that she cares so much about each one of her couples and their families! Missy was so helpful through the entire wedding process with her quick communication, support, and advice for our big day. She cares so much for her brides and it shows!! Absolutely LOVE her and I wish I could relive my day all over again just so she can run the show! She’s AMAZING! We couldn't have made a better decision in choosing Stoney Ridge Villa! We got married here in March of 2023. I can only say positive things about Stoney Ridge Villa. Missy is the owner of the venue and she and her husband do a fantastic job making you feel warm and comfortable. I called and texted Missy no less than 30 times from day of booking the venue to my wedding day and every single time she was happy to help answer my questions. The biggest piece of advice I can give to folks looking for a venue is that the good vendors you surround yourself with are the biggest factors for mitigating stress. We not only used Missy but many of Missy's recommendations for vendors which made life easier as well. Finally, the photos speak for themselves - this venue is gorgeous and absolutely unique. No other venue in DFW will give you photos like this. I highly, highly recommend Stoney Ridge Villa as the place for your wedding. I cannot say enough good things about our experience here and, as you can see, many others corroborate what I am saying.

Stoney Ridge exceeded my expectations as a bride AND those of my family and guests! Firstly, whether you are a bride or coordinator, owner Missy is extremely quick to respond and has a wealth of knowledge that she is happy to share. She truly goes above and beyond and cares about her couples. Secondly, your family will love the huge getting ready spaces on wedding day! The space makes wedding morning more relaxing and allows everyone plenty of space to eat and spend time together. Lastly, the variety of spaces will keep your guests in awe at every turn. Each corner is stunning - our guests couldn't stop raving about the "destination" feel right at home in Texas.

Missy is the sweetest person ever! She helped me feel prepared for my big day and was very responsive when I had questions. The venue is absolutely amazing and beautiful. You can’t go wrong with choosing Stoney Ridge as your wedding venue. If you want amazing photo opportunities and ability to take photos on the roof this is the venue for you!
