Our wedding at Stoneyman Valley Ranch on October 25, 2025 was absolutely perfect! The views are truly amazing and created the most beautiful backdrop for our day. There isn’t a bad angle! The venue itself was the perfect size, and the layout is well thought out for everyone to celebrate comfortably while still feeling intimate, and not too spread out. What truly made the experience so special were the owners, Diane and Tom. They were amazing to work with throughout the entire process. They were kind, welcoming, honest, thorough, and genuinely invested in making our day absolutely perfect. Diane was extremely helpful in sharing her professional opinion throughout the planning process and never hesitated to jump in to help in anyway she could. We could not have asked for a better venue. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect and beautiful wedding venue!
15/10! Stoneyman Valley Ranch is not only magically, beautiful, but the owner, Diane, and her husband, Tom, go out of there way to ensure your day goes smoothly. First Diane is so kind and up front about everything. She’s thorough with the ins and outs of the day of. She also gives her professional advice as needed and helps to guide the do’s and don’t’s! Our month before the ceremony meeting, Diane made sure to go over every detail with us. The day before during set up, she ensured we had everything we needed! The day of, she helped with anything and everything. From parking to getting the photographer and DJ ready.
I cannot express how much of a pleasure this venue and its owners are. The price is amazing too! The venue is a one stop shop that includes tables, chairs, dancefloor, bathrooms, and so much decor that Diane will let you borrow the day of. My day would not have gone so smoothly without Stoneyman. As an October bride, the views were unmatched! It was so stunning! My guests raved about the beauty of the view but also the barn itself! Cannot recommend this venue enough.

A working cattle ranch and operating as a wedding venue since 21018, this family-led business strives to create unforgettable memories for each of its valued clients. For couples wishing to exchange vows in an outdoor setting, the property offers manicured gardens, complete with bench seating and a decorative floral arbor. Post-ceremony, guests are invited to progress to the Event barn to enjoy a lavish wedding reception. Boasting an impressive 5,000 square feet of premium event space, this area can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests. Large windows overlooking the Stoneyman Mountain Outlook are a distinctive design feature and allow ample natural light to flow through the space. This climate-controlled reception site also includes a dedicated catering area, a spacious dance floor, and several modern restrooms. The barn can be configured in several ways to accommodate your desired aesthetic, and the staff at Stoneyman Valley Ranch is happy to assist with event styling. Elegant get-ready suites are also conveniently located onsite for the wedding party to use throughout the day as they wish.

They begin the planning process with an in-depth consultation and, from there, will collaborate with you each step of the way. They can provide a preferred vendor list, and your chosen caterer will have full access to their prep kitchen on the day. A range of tables, chairs, and linens are included in the rental fee, and the staff is happy to assist with the setup and teardown of event areas. Additional items such as cake stands, sunflower vases, chalkboards, and candleholders are also available for hire. For convenience, the team at this venue offers ample parking facilities along with wheelchair access.

Tom and I have lived in Virginia for almost 30 years raising our three children. As empty nesters, we decided it was time to leave the corporate world and get back to nature so we decided to raise cattle. Tom was raised in the country and Diane has loved the Shenandoah Valley since she was a young girl.
When our daughter-in-law wanted to get married on our property, we realized that we had the perfect location for weddings. Now we share this piece of the Shenandoah Valley with happy couples that want to start their journey together in this beautiful location.
