Such a wonderful person! Shawn made sure that he understood what we wanted on our day. He was communicative from day one. We planned this all the way from Orlando, FL for a wedding in Half Moon Bay, CA. Shawn made sure to schedule phone calls and even took the time to meet us for lunch once we were in California before the event. That care and dedication to his craft made it so easy. He made sure that the music was perfect, not only during the ceremony but for the cocktail hour, during dinner and of course on the dance floor. I danced all night long !!! Shawn is amazing! We got married at the Fairview Crystal Springs in Burlingame and our package included his DJ services. We were thrilled to have him as our DJ and MC for the evening. From when we started talking to him, he was always quick to answer our questions. He even assisted us as we were looking into hiring a photobooth service. On his website, he has these amazing forms to help plan all the music you will need for the ceremony processional all the way to cake cutting and bouquet toss. All night he kept things moving for us, which we cannot thank him enough for. He knows what he is doing and makes sure the timeline works best for us but also keeping the attention of our guests. All of our guests talked about how great Shawn was but also the variety of songs he played...there was something for everyone. Look through the photos on his homepage and you will see how personable and fun he is. We cannot recommend Storm Productions enough!

CAN I GIVE MORE THAN 5 STARS?! Honestly, Shawn is amazing! I met Shawn at my cousin's wedding in 2015, so naturally when I got engaged, I knew I HAD to have him as my DJ! The dance floor was NEVER empty! It was full all night! I told him, "I'm Mexican", and he did the rest! He played all kinds of music, absolutely knows how to read the crowd! Got us pumped up all night! Absolutely made my wedding everything I wanted and more!

Shawn Storm was our DJ & did a fantastic job not only playing great music but also emceeing the day. His personality and voice made the day go smoothly and cued each "event" beautifully. Shawn has a website which allows you to preselect your processional/recessional music as well as cocktail hour & reception songs. He also gives the option of "no play" and "must play" lists. He knows how to read the crowd & unlike some weddings where loud music fills the reception room throughout the dancing portion, he read the crowd and changed the volume & type of music when needed. We're very happy with Shawn as our DJ!

Shawn is simply amazing!!! He knew just what to play to keep the dance floor hopping all night. He's just one of those people you feel like he's known you for years. Very personable! He helped us keep things moving at a good speed so we'd have plenty of time for dancing! We had such a blast, I'd highly recommend Shawn Storm to anyone!

I really liked Shawn; we got him through our Wedding Venue Wedgewood. He played the songs we requested, and others requested at our weddings and made sure everything flowed smoothly. The only thing was he was a little tough to get a hold of pre-wedding up until the week before; but like with anything, if you're popular, you may be a little harder to get a hold of. Overall, professional, and a great time.

I was very pleased by DJ Shawn Storm at my wedding ceremony and reception. You could tell that he loves his job, he was having a good time at the reception and interacting with guests. He played a great deal of our requested songs and gave priority to any requests made by the bride and groom during the event. He kept the energy up and made for a fantastic party! I cannot comment on the cost or value as he was included in my package at the Wedgewood at Crystal Springs in Burlingame.

The DJ was part of my wedding package from the venue we used. He is easy to work with. You basically go on his website and fill out a form for all you music choices. Shawn will contact you to go over your information. He's cool, easy to work with, and will offer suggestions if needed. Not pushy or anything.

Shawn Storm was supposed to be contracted as our wedding DJ, but he had a wedding to attend that weekend, so we got a different DJ. He was FANTASTIC! We didn't want a cheesy, overly obnoxious DJ. We wanted someone who would play the music, tell the guests what was happening and keep people on the dance floor. He met with us, at no charge, prior to the wedding, which wasn't included in the price. We discussed in detail the music and what we wanted and he executed it brilliantly. I would definitely recommend him to a friend!

He is very experienced at what he does. He was able to get the idea that we wanted to have fun with our wedding and he helped make it fun. He kept the night running smoothly (even when my bridesmaids surprised him and everyone else with a video "speech" they had made). When it came time to dance, he quickly learned what was keeping people on the dance floor and was able to keep people having fun all night!

DJ Shawn Storm was the preferred DJ & Emcee for Wedgewood Banquet Center - Crystal Springs in Burlingame. I also saw that he had great reviews on Yelp, so I was excited to work with him. After filling out a form on his site, DJ Shawn called to go over everything and was able to inform me of the standard timeline and made sure he confirmed my song requests. He was very concerned about one of my requests because he did not want to play anything with bad sound quality and I was glad that he brought it up. I have to say that DJ Shawn Storm was the best wedding DJ ever! He played all of my requests for me and for my family and I got so many compliments on how he set the tempo for the wedding. He kept people dancing all night which is what we wanted for our guests. I also loved how genuinely friendly he was, not just to us, but to our guests as well. I just talked to a couple of my friend who are getting married and they wished that they could've booked DJ Shawn Storm for their own wedding. I can't reiterate enough how happy we were with DJ Shawn Storm. All I can say is that if you want a fun, charismatic DJ/Emcee and if you want your guests to have the best time, you need to book DJ Shawn Storm for your wedding!

He did my sister's and my weddings and we had a wonderful time at both. Great service and great time doing what we requested.

DJ Shawn Storm with Storm Productions did an AWESOME JOB! He was part of our package at Wedgewood Banquet in Burlingame ( therefore I am not sure what exactly he cost for his services because it was part of the package) They use the best he had a great selection of music, had a very efficient selection list so that nothing is missed, and he was on point with his MC with lots of personality and keeping everything on schedule.

Shawn was really great! i do wish he had had a meeting with us before a week before the wedding as i was stressing even though i knew he had our song list etc. everything is done through email and a website which i do like. during the wedding,i felt the garter,bouquet,first dance were kinda rushed but that could have just been me wanting to stretch everything out which doesn't really make sense. he played all of our song requests and our song genre choices which i loved! we are a dancing group and he was funny.

After interviewing several DJ's and not being impressed at all i called Shawn Storm as he was listed in my package from Crystal Springs. Had the same list of questions to go over but before i could even ask he answered them all! Online forms made the planning easy and he himself had suggestions for me for things i could not decide and since i wanted an uncommon song for my entrance Shawn redid my processional song a few times to make it perfect! I even called him the morning OF and told him change of plans i want a mothers seating can you pick a song... I was totally stressed and he just put me at ease, picked a beautuful song and made my day wonderful. He ran my reception and things were so smooth and upbeat i just have to recommend him to anyone that will listen!
