Everyone we encountered knew why we were there, and her personal time and effort made the entire experience feel truly special. We stayed in the Palafitos at El Dorado Maroma near Playa del Carmen (about 30–45 minutes from Cancun Airport). The overwater rooms were spacious and luxurious, and the quieter, more private atmosphere of the Palafitos area created a peaceful, exclusive escape. Our butlers Alberto and William anticipated every need, waiter Eliseo made meals special, and the staff throughout the property—including the Swing Bar bartenders—were consistently kind and welcoming. The grounds were beautiful, and Playa del Carmen offered easy nearby shopping when we wanted a change of scenery. One of the highlights was the Rio Secreto Classic Tour, which she coordinated through Lomas Hospitality. The short drive from the resort, excellent guide Memo, photographer Charles, and the entire experience exploring the stunning cave system (with its formations, unique wildlife, and cool waters) was pure magic—a true National Geographic-worthy adventure we will never forget. She went above and beyond to make our anniversary vacation seamless, memorable, and perfectly tailored to us. We can’t recommend her highly enough.
