These are great people to work with. The main boss was very flexible in times and places to meet to discuss various details about our engagement shoot and the wedding day. They are very affordable for two shooter and the number of hours you want.

Storytellers were available for us last minute when we decided we wanted the ceremony taped. Don worked with me on the timeline to maximize both parties time with the ceremony, reception, dances, toast, and more dancing. They knew the DJ so that helped with coordinating things to make sure they captured all the events of the evening. Don was very pleasant to work with and his team was so sweet towards all the people at our wedding. We would recommend them again to anyone looking for a fair price and a talented crew.

We started to seriously plan our wedding about 5 months ahead of our wedding date May 28, 2011. In addition to the relatively short lead time, another major challenge was that we were planning our Memphis wedding remotely from Philadelphia! Video and photography were among our most important decisions, as we expected these works to be preserved for a life time and become part of our documented history for future generations. We recognized that we needed to find someone who would do quality work and know how to capture the essence of a wedding. We identified a few photographers through Internet research and friend recommendations. Many seemed to offer similar pricing, services, and quality of workmanship. However, when we first engaged with Don Lawler at Storytellers, we immediately recognized some key differences. First of all, Don was confident about offering both photo and video services. This dramatically streamlined our planning process and enabled us to work with a single vendor for both photo and video shooting. We were also drawn to Don’s storytelling videography style, which looked much more powerful and interesting than the traditional documentary style. Secondly, Don and his team were very responsive and always provided detailed answers to our questions. This was very important to us since we were on a tight schedule and working remotely. Within a few e-mail exchanges, we felt like we were talking to a friend. Throughout our interaction with the Storytellers, including the initial planning, the actual wedding, and months after the wedding, Don and Darin have been very responsive and accommodating to make sure we are completely satisfied. Finally, Don has many years of experience and is truly passionate about his work. We could tell this just by reading his emails! Better yet, it turned out that he also knew our wedding coordinator Dianne Trammel and DJ David Pickett well and had teamed with them many times in the past. This made us even more confident and convinced that he was the one! On the day of our wedding, it was not only comfortable, but also a lot of fun working with Don, Darin and the rest of their crew. They all did a great job capturing every moment of our wedding day, and our family and friends enjoyed having them around too. After the wedding, Don immediately shared with us some of the amazing pictures he took. Months after the wedding, Don consistently provided excellent customer service and was very accommodating in delivering the final product to us. Don made DVD’s for us multiple times to ensure we had no problem accessing the files. The videos and the photos all look fantastic. The storytelling video is very special and we love it. We are so glad that we have selected the Storytellers for our wedding. At the end, we think it is critical to work with someone you trust and enjoy. We highly recommend Don and his team to any couple who is seeking quality photo and video work and a fun experience along the way!
