Other things that set this group (including Beth the Manager) apart were the choice in menu with really interesting foodie type choices, pricing, responsiveness and really going the extra mile each step of the way. uch food we needed, suggested the best ways to take care of the vegans and special food requests by detailing those exact people and ensuring that they had custom meals for every person. They also had an amazing dessert bar that really helps to pad in extra desserts (which were all eaten). Overall, the food was delicious on the day of her wedding, they even brought cheeseboard to the bread and groom as well as snacks immediately following the photos to ensure that we had enough food to keep going. They were absolutely amazing and we cannot recommend them higher!

evious event in Arizona so when it was time to find a caterer for our daughters wedding they were the first we contacted. Traveling such a distance wasn’t normal for them however we worked things out so their delicious food was center stage at the reception. From delicious hot crab cakes, spicy buffalo dip to their tender flank steak, creamy chicken piccata and to die for 5 cheese Mac and cheese they went above and beyond what we had hoped for. Guests were able to enjoy as much food as they could hold because nothing was scrimped on by Straight To The Plate. Plus they also provided all the beautiful tableware for the reception which was one less thing we had to worry about. Guests complimented us on the food and service wanting our cateres information plus many hoped to learn the recipes for the 5 cheese Mac and cheese and their glazed bacon appetizers. My daughter and her new husband were thrilled with Straight To The Plate and couldn’t thank them enough for making their first family dinner such a huge success!!!

Our wedding had 120 guests and everyone had a great deal, in part due to STTP. We thought so highly of the STTP team, that we also hired Sue and the staff for the rehearsal dinner at our home for 55 guests with a tremendous, authentic Mexican food menu the night before the wedding. We were guests in our home as they handled every detail from food preparation, setup, serving and clean up. We recommend STTP with the highest regard with their spectacular service.

helpful. The BAD: basically the management. The conflict that I ran into was over wanting to bring in home baked cookies. I had discussed it with the venue previously but when we went to our tasting we were told by Straight to the Plate that the venue may have problems with this. On discussion with the venue it was in fact Straight to the Plate that had an issue with it. The venue apologized for not pre-approving this with the caterer, so I have no ill will there as people make mistakes. What followed was a back and forth with the caterer via the venue to attempt to resolve this. Mostly this included odd insurance requests such as a high insurance policy and requesting to be on the policy AND have the policy include a waiver of subrogation. Ultimately we utilized a baker who could sell commercially, and then they requested a copy of the baker’s license within a week of the wedding. Overall, I think I would feel differently if I felt like Straight to the Plate had been straightforward with me from the beginning and dealt with me directly. When you have a wedding coming up you want to have faith in your caterer and I didn’t have that.

ey came up with an interesting and tasty vegetarian menu to satisfy ALL of our wedding guests. It was the best food I have ever had at a wedding!! They went above an beyond to make the buffet table beautiful, incorporating decorative items that went well with the bohemian theme of our wedding. Sue was a dream to work with and worked very well with our personal wedding planner. Being an out of town bride always has its challenges, but not when working with Straight to the Plate! I would recommend them to anyone with catering needs in the Phoenix area!

I LOVED the food. As a Foodie!! I recommend their chorizo stuffed mushrooms and the roasted red pepper hummus for apps, the roast beef carving station with horseradish sauce and au jus, the chicken with poblano cream sauce, and the spinach strawberry artichoke salad. LOVE the way she presents everything as it is SO elegant!!

x and drove up there on the day of the wedding and had all of the food set up perfectly as well as a fruit and cheese platter in the bridal party room while getting ready. We had rave reviews from the guests about the food and we loved working with them as well. I am in process of getting another menu from them for take home meals as our baby is due soon and I would love to have this food in my house when that happens to save on cooking and to eat delicious food!
