All of our guests raved about the food at our wedding, thanks to Straw! We hired Straw because of their creative menu, and man, did they deliver! We had fried chicken & waffle slid...
ers, mini corn dogs, and funnel cake among much more. Molly and the Straw staff did a fantastic job on the wedding day - set up, service, and tear down all went smoothly. The staff was professional looking and very attentive, including constant refilling of water and other non-alcoholic beverages since it was a hot day. Molly even hand delivered appetizers and dinner to us to make sure we had a chance to try it all! There were a couple charges that weren't disclosed to us up front, but when we addressed those with Molly she was quick to apologize and work through them with us. Overall we enjoyed having Straw as a part of our wedding day!
STRAW was the perfect choice for our wedding with 65 wedding guests in San Francisco.

nd accommodating. They were so helpful in crafting the perfect menu for our taste and budget.
When it came time to the actual day, the staff were all so wonderful and the food was incredible. I honestly can say there wasn't a single hiccup along the way, and that was a huge gift to us during such a stressful day.
We would definitely recommend STRAW for foodie couples looking for a playful, delicious and professional catering experience for their guests.
Also - Molly and Ari were incredible and I cannot praise them and their hard work enough. Total rock stars and such great people to work with. Thank you!

The food was so delicious. Our favorites were the popcorn, chicken and waffle bites, and mini donut cheeseburgers. The guests raved about the food too. The cotton candy machine was a huge hit with the kids!
The Straw staff did such a wonderful job at the event. They took especially great care of by husband and I by bringing us appetizers and a plate of dinner so we could focus on entertaining the guests. Molly, the event captain, did a phenomenal job taking care of us and everything else on the big day. Ari, Straw's owner, and the other catering coordinators were so easy to work with before the event. They made sure everything was done just the way we wanted it and even worked to personalize a few touches.
We couldn't be happier with the support Straw provided during the planning process and the final result!
Outstanding--deserving of six stars!
We used Straw to cater our wedding and couldn't have been happier with our decision. We went to at least 5 different caterer tastings that wo...
rked with our particular venue and it was no contest when compared to Straw. Everything they make is unique, artistic, and SO delicious. Furthermore they were super responsive and detail-oriented (yet flexible) throughout the entire planning process. We were most excited about the appetizers (pulled pork sliders, sweet potato tots, fried chicken-n-waffle monte christo, grilled cheese / tomato soup shooter, and lamb cupcake), but the meal was amazing as well (beet salad, hummus and pita, chicken and steak skewers, and jasmine rice). The Straw team was very helpful throughout the days leading up to the event, and executed flawlessly the night of our wedding reception. Ari and his team are second to none and created the perfect meal and atmosphere for our wedding. We could not be more grateful that they were a part of our big day!

ietary requests we had, including v making things that were vegan and vegetarian. Our guests all remarked on how much they enjoyed all of the fun food, especially the mac and cheese! If you are looking for fun, delicious food for your wedding this is the place!

th our personalities, was their new take on weddings and the food that they present. THE FOOD WAS PHENOMENAL, as soon as we had it we were hooked and we wanted our friends and family to grab a bit of this unique experience. The straw team went above and beyond for us, they answered all of our questions, always gave us feedback and put up with my crazy answers. I highly recommend using Straw as a future vendor, and I HIGHLY recommend that you check out their restaurant in SF

per helpful with positive attitudes. The passed appetizers were AMAZING. We had a tomato soup shooter, mac and cheese with apple slices, sweet potato tots, and a monte cristo bite. SO GOOD! People couldn't stop talking about how good the appetizers were. And I loved not having a boring dinner for my guests. I did a lot of shopping around and the value and bang for buck was by far the best deal around. The curry was different than we did the tasting, it wasn't green and I didn't like it as much, so I was a little disappointed but no one else knew the difference. Communication was a bit frustrating with questions being asked that we already went over and decided during the walk through, but in the scheme of things, small potatoes. Overall I was super pleased and happy with the service and would definitely recommend them and hope to use them again.
