Strawberry Manor Events is a lovely wedding venue located in Ponchatoula, LA. Originally owned by William Butler, this train enthusiast created a railroad on 25 acres of the estate in 1943. Many decades later, the new owners, Brittany Howes and Amy Smith, opened the property's door for couples near and far to celebrate their special day. With a charming locomotive, 100-year-old azaleas, and beautiful secluded grounds, this venue makes the perfect backdrop for your celebration.
Strawberry Manor Events is an ideal choice for couples wanting to host their wedding day in Louisiana, as it's situated near Baton Rouge and New Orleans. The property can accommodate a lot of wedding sizes, such as intimate gatherings of 20 loved ones to larger affairs of up to 120 guests. Depending on your preferences, you can decide whether you would like to host your big day outside or inside the venue. Before your highly-anticipated day begins, you and your close wedding party can avail of the luxury get-ready suites on-site. These rooms provide a comfortable space for you to get glammed by your squad. When you're prepared to make your way down the aisle, you can exchange your vows on the gorgeous manicured lawn surrounded by forestry, flowers, and loved ones. Best friends, living the dream! Together, we began decorating and coordinating weddings privately at other venues and always joked that one day we would open our own venue. Well fast-forward to now and our #Goals are now #Reality!
We are the perfect duo! We both love decorating and designing, but more importantly we love making dreams come true! Together we work directly with each couple helping them plan their wedding, finding the right vendors, and decorating to their vision!
Each of our couples become family, and the hardest part of our job is the send-off!!
