I hired Striking Stems for my wedding in December 2023 and they did a fantastic job with the ceremony and reception space arrangements, and bouquets and boutonnieres. They were very professional and easy to work with. What they gave me was spot on with what I was visioning! I couldn't be happier with their work.

Sandy went above and beyond and did the most incredible flowers for my wedding day. The arrangements were breathtaking and perfectly matched what I had envisioned. I talked to many different florists, and Sandy was the only one who described exactly how she would put together my bouquet and did everything within my budget. Also, I had to add several boutonnieres last minute and she was very flexible and able to accommodate.

Of all our wedding vendors that were with us throughout a 3 year (COVID postponed!) wedding process, Sandy at Striking Stems stands out as being one of the best. Not only was she very flexible and understanding with scheduling, rescheduling, and rescheduling again, but she was adaptable and supportive throughout the rest of the planning process as well. Whenever our vision, ideas, or guest count changed, she quickly and happily made the changes, while providing her knowledge, insight and expertise. I selected Striking Stems to do our floral based on a recommendation from one of our venues and instagram photos of their work. After my initial consultation with Sandy I knew she was going to nail the vision for our wedding. She was so flexible with accommodating a virtual consultation since we lived out of area and worked with us when we had to reschedule. The centerpieces, bouquets, and chandelier decoration she did for our wedding were absolutely beautiful and perfect. The guests couldn't stop complementing them and they were beyond what I ever envisioned!

Like so many others, I was a Covid bride. For our small intimate wedding, Sandy made my bouquet, boutonnières, and arrangements for our tables at dinner. Sandy and Ashley were absolute DREAMS to work with. I fully anticipated not caring much what my flowers looked like, but as time when on I realized I actually cared a lot. I think I changed my mind on floral arrangements 2 or 3 times and each time they had a new beautiful portrayal of my vision. They were also so hands on on my wedding day... jumping up on mantles and magically conjuring up a few extra centerpieces because I never bothered to update my table count. Do yourself a favor and hire these ladies. They are beautiful people and insanely talented in their work.

I absolutely loved working with Sandy! She’s one of those people that just makes you feel happy to be around. I booked Striking Stems after one of my best friends had her for a wedding. I remember thinking her florals were BEAUTIFUL and literally FILLED. THE. ROOM. When I heard how affordable and amazing the team was to work with, I met with Sandy and immediately booked! Because my husband and I were paying for everything ourselves, cost was a huge factor for us. Although I only booked the minimum, you literally would not have known because everything was so beautifully done. I also had to postpone our wedding by 3 months because of coronavirus, and Striking Stems rebooked instantly without charging a penny. Even with a significantly lower guest count and less tables, they repurposed the extra flowers I had and made it work! If you’re in the Tomball, Spring, Montgomery, north Houston area I would HIGHLY look into Striking Stems to give them your business! I couldn’t have been more pleased!

WOW. Flowers were an important part of the wedding for me but I didn't know enough about them to be super specific about what I wanted. They let me show them inspiration photos and then went above and beyond what I could have imagined they would do. When I walked into my reception hall I was shocked that they had taken my ideas and made something extremely beautiful out of them. Communication was speedy and friendly, even when I made some last minute changes to what I wanted. They made the experience special for me, my mom, and my mother in law when we came for a meeting with them initially. I could write a small novel about what a great job they did and were certainly one of my best decisions about vendors for my wedding.

I had a great experience using Striking Stems for my wedding. When I first reached out to them I had no idea what I wanted in my florals - I was kind of all over the place. I had a meeting with Sandy and she was able to point out different flowers that she thought I might like based on the color pallette I had. She helped me narrow in on what I was looking for. From first booking to my wedding day, I changed things 4 times and every time Sandy was so responsive and got the updated quotes back to me within days. She was so responsive and helpful every time I needed anything! On the actual day of, I loved my bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, the centerpieces, and all of the other florals they did. I especially loved the decoration they did for my large wooden ceremony cross. Everything was set up exactly as we discussed and I loved it! In addition to all of that, I felt that the prices were very reasonable and Sandy helped work everything into my budget without sacrificing what I wanted. My favorite vendor from my wedding! Striking Stems’ arrangements were absolutely perfect! Sandy is truly a gem to work with and makes everything so easy. I had a general look in mind, but no clue how to pull it together. With me showing her just a couple of pinterest pictures, Sandy was able to formulate a vision and put together exactly what I wanted! She was also so sweet to help us find creative ways to save costs where we could to stay within budget. On the day of the wedding, their team set up everything so fast, and brought extra votives and candles in case we might want to use them. They were all so sweet and put together the most beautiful arrangements in the chapel and reception hall!

Striking Stems is hands down the best! We had meetings with 3 florists total and ended up going with them. Throughout the planning process I must have changed my mind at least 3 or 4 times in a major way and they were always attentive, listened and were willing to do what ever it took to make our wedding floral dreams come true. I can honestly say I was blown away by how beautiful everything turned out! The style we went with was natural, organic, romantic and whimsical. My expectations were high and they were exceeded with the outcome. They are such good people, professional, and fabulous! She also makes you feel comfortable and at home when you work with her. Striking Stems was a joy to work with and the flowers they did for our June wedding at Ashton Gardens were perfect. I didn't have much knowledge about flowers when I first met with Sandy, and my preferences were more around color than specific types of flowers. Sandy was able to take my limited input and translate it into exactly what I wanted. The altar arrangements, center pieces, bouquets and boutonnieres all worked together perfectly. From the first meeting through all of my "changes of mind," Sandy was extremely easy to work with and always very responsive. Striking Stems is also very reasonably priced compared to other vendors I contacted. I have already recommended Striking Stems to other brides, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat if I had it to do over again.
