My journey into photography began with a passion for capturing the beauty in daily life. Fascinated by what I found visually compelling, I challenged myself to master my camera. It wasn’t long before I discovered that wedding photography perfectly aligned with my love for documentary-style work. Over the past 8 years and through hundreds of weddings, I’ve had the privilege of documenting couples from all backgrounds and religions. I deeply value preserving family history, knowing that some loved ones won’t be with us forever, and that my work will serve as a reference for future generations.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Stuart! From the very beginning, his communication was fast, professional, and incredibly accommodating—even with us living out of state and dealing with a time difference. He was always available to talk, flexible with scheduling, and made coordinating everything so easy.
On the day of the wedding, Stuart was an absolute dream to work with. My husband and I aren’t used to taking photos and can be a little awkward, but he guided us through every shot with kindness and authenticity. He made us feel so comfortable and natural in front of the camera, which truly made all the difference. Beyond that, he worked seamlessly with our wedding coordinator to keep everything on schedule while ensuring every special moment was captured beautifully.
And the photos—WOW. They are beyond stunning! Stuart delivered them so quickly, and the quality is absolutely out of this world. Every emotion, every little detail, and every magical moment of our night was captured perfectly.

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Stuart! From the first time I spoke with Stuart, I knew he was the right choice for us. He really took the time to run through all the details with us. He was so organized and always quick to respond to any questions. He made the whole experience stress free and it was one less thing I had to worry about leading up to my wedding. The day of, he was on time, had an organized schedule and made sure to get all the important pictures we wanted. In addition, he was great at getting candids! He made me and my awkward husband feel soo comfortable in front of the camera and gave us such great direction! Stuart made sure to check in with us through the night and before leaving to make sure we didn’t want more time. Stuart gave us soo many amazing pictures in our album and we absolutely loved how they turned out. I would definitely recommend Stuart to anyone looking for an amazing and talented photographer!!

Stuart was a total pro and super fun to work with on our wedding day! We have an endless amount of gorgeous photos, I’m so grateful we went with him as our wedding photographer! He really knew how to work with the lighting in various settings to get the most out of the pictures, and was great at both setting up posed photos and taking great candid shots. I appreciated the expert job he did getting through the family photos, and how he captured the important moments and details to really tell a story of the day. When we asked if he could stay longer into the evening than originally planned, he didn’t hesitate and even took a super fun group shot of us with our guests at the end of the night! The photos we ultimately got were vivid in color, beautifully edited, and ones we keep going back to with smiles on our faces :) 10/10 recommend!

Stuart shot our October 2024 wedding, and we loved working with him. He is professional, talented, and so easy to work with. From our first consultation call, we knew we’d be in good hands. He is transparent about his pricing, time, and delivery of photos. On the day, he helped us pose to get the best photos but also allowed us to move naturally to capture our actual chemistry. He made sure we got all of our “must have” shots efficiently so we could enjoy our day. He worked seamlessly with our coordinator to make sure all of our ceremony/reception shots worked with our timeline. Stuart even found us during our reception to ask if we wanted him to stay later so that he could capture more of the fun. We trusted him all day and felt so comfortable being ourselves around him! Highly recommend working with Stuart- you will not be disappointed!

SO happy we went with Stuart as our wedding photographer! Upon meeting him, he was incredibly down to earth and easy going. He made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable! My entire wedding party and family kept raving about how great Stuart was at getting all the photos we wanted and suggesting group poses that felt extremely natural. Of course we were able to get our standard portraits with Stuart, but he really focuses on capturing candid moments which we appreciated.
We really admired Stuart's passion for finding the perfect shot. He is INCREDIBLE at finding the most stunning backdrops by venturing down alleyways, following the sun, and hunting for some stunning greenery. We got a ton of photos with different backdrops.
If you are thinking about going with Stuart, DO IT!

Stuart (Stu) DuHadaway was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding on September 14th, 2019, at the picturesque Gramercy Mansion & Carriage House in Stevenson, Maryland. From the moment he arrived, he had a sincere and calming presence that helped put my nerves at ease. Stu’s warmth and professionalism made us feel instantly comfortable, allowing us to truly enjoy every moment of our special day. His attention to detail and thoughtfulness were evident as he guided us through each shot, making sure to capture not only our joy as a couple but also the deep connection between our family and friends.
One of the most memorable aspects of Stu’s work was his ability to candidly capture the intimate moments that truly mattered. Including my stepdaughter, Riley, while getting ready and during the ceremony was incredibly special, and Stu captured the tenderness and emotion in each glance, smile, and tear. He skillfully preserved those precious moments between us, our families, and our friends in a way that felt effortless and genuine. Through both film and digital photography, Stu used his experienced eye for beauty to tell the story of our day in a way that we can cherish forever.

Picking a photographer for your wedding day can be an overwhelming decision to make and we were beyond happy with Stuart and his team. They did a great job encapsulating the love in the room, and our personalities. They also did a great job grabbing shots of things/details that we didn’t even get a chance to acknowledge on the actual day.
Not only does Stuart have great work, but he’s also a great person. He’s so calm, chill and easy going and he did a great job making my husband and I feel comfortable doing something we don’t love to do (taking pics lol) In the middle of us taking photos he even ran to get my water, which I was so appreciative for. He goes above and beyond for the couples.

Stuart is incredible! He was able to get gorgeous photos our day. My husband and I are both extremely camera shy and we both were dreading photos. But after meeting with Stuart we even decided to do an engagement shoot. Stuart has a way of making you feel comfortable and executing the vision you have while incorporating his professional expertise. Stuart is extremely personable (we missed him a ton after the wedding was over and hope to use him in the future!) Stuart was also able to suggest an additional photographer when we needed extra hands on deck. I think Stuart's style is perfect for you if you want more than the generic posed photos. While he was able to capture important sentimental moments, his style allowed our photos to be more candid and natural.

We can’t recommend Stuart enough!! He was one of the best decisions we have ever made in our wedding process. He took our engagement photos along with our wedding photos and was just about the kindest, most professional and patient person! We adored our engagement photos and our wedding photos had us absolutely floored with how stunning they came out. My husband and I were pretty nervous about getting our photos taken but Stuart made us feel so comfortable! He really felt like a friend, making us laugh and giving us a space to be more of our authentic-selves. The photos came out so natural and he caught our personalities and love that we have for each other. If we could give him 10 stars we would!! Thank you for everything Stuart!

Stuart was amazing to work with, and he felt like a friend at our wedding! Neither my husband nor I like being in front of the camera, but Stuart got lots of shots of us that we liked. He captured moments of family/friends that we didn't get to see and little details that made our wedding special. He'd also give pointers about buttons, hand placement, phone in pocket, etc., but he was just easygoing and lets you make the photo sessions what you want. He was not only responsive and reliable but also went above and beyond helping us come up with a schedule for the wedding day since we were unsure how early hair/makeup should start, timing of first look and groomsmen getting ready, when family needed to be where, how to get everyone to the venue without wrinkled clothes. Additionally, the turnaround time was so fast, and we were able to use photos from the engagement shoot and reminisce about the wedding so quickly.

Stuart was amazing! He captured our day so beautifully and authentically and was so fun to work with! He made us feel comfortable taking pictures and was super flexible helping us achieve our vision of more candid, less posed photos for our wedding. He also generously carried around a super heavy film camera all day so we could get some classic film shots that turned out to be some of our favorite photos. 100% recommend!

Stu was amazing to work with! His positive and relaxed energy helped us to feel calm and at ease throughout a sometimes hectic day. The photos he captured really captured our day - the people, the emotions, the overall vibe. Looking back at our beautiful photos always brings me right back to the specific moments and feelings of our wedding day. Truly such a gift!
Also have to give a special shout out to how adaptable and cool under pressure Stu is. Our ceremony was set to be outside and right as the ceremony started, it began to rain. We pivoted at the last minute and shifted the ceremony under the cover of our reception tent, moving all the guests and benches in the rain. Not only did Stu go with the flow beautifully, he captured some amazing photos along the way! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Stu was the best! A great guy and a super talented photographer.

Stuart was the second shooter at my wedding and I honestly wish we had hired him as our main photographer. Stuart was incredibly personable and made my husband and his 9 wild groomsmen feel so comfortable. He fit right in! Stuart's talent and eye for what angles will produce the best pictures is unmatched. He truly creates magic behind the camera. Hire Stuart for your wedding day, you won't regret it!

I was so impressed with Stuart from start to finish. He was great with his communication and helped coordinate everything so I had very little to stress about. And the results!!!! 😍😍😍 I am in love with every single photo we paid for and there were so many!! He definitely has an eye for this. And his assistant was also very talented. I would definitely recommend the upgraded package to have two photographers to capture different angles of the whole event. I didn’t realized the importance until I saw the results. Especially for the ceremony!! It was so nice that they were able to capture both of us and not have anyone running back and forth being distracting. In fact, they were very good at capturing candids because I barely noticed them. I definitely think everyone needs to hire this business for your special day

We couldn’t have asked for more beautiful wedding photos. Our wedding day consisted of a down pour of rain to start the morning and Stuart promised the lighting would make the pictures that much better, and he was so right! Every moment was captured in such an authentic and artsy way which is exactly what we were going for. He made my entire bridal party so comfortable and gave us real photos of memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives. First off - Stuart is just a genuinely pleasant person to be around - A+ human. His energy is mellow and curious.
My experience with Stuart: My wife and I decided to get married during Covid times out in the woods with just our parents- it was very green. We were unsure if we would hire someone to take photos — and I can tell you, I’m glad I did. What I like about Stuart’s work is that it reveals the truth about an environment and the relationships existing within them. He is exceptional at blending into the environment so that you don’t feel like you’re being photographed. He’s precise, he’s got a thoughtful eye and he always captures meaningful details that help tell your story.
My wedding photos are cherished thanks to how Stuart saw us. I would absolutely hire him again for any meaningful event in my life.

Stuart was on time, professional, efficient and very committed to getting a great shot! He was enjoyable to be around, was open to any ideas I shared about photos I wanted to take or backgrounds/poses I wanted to capture and he communicated and worked well with his second shooter. He made sure we stuck to our timeline while also ensuring we got all shots and was flexible with small changes I wanted to make. He planned and researched ahead and came with suggestions for where each type of shot could be taken and gave just the right amount of cuing to make sure my and my fiancé’s hair/clothes/posing was looking good for each shot!

Stuart and his second shooter Alex shot our wedding in August 2022 and I cannot recommend him strongly enough!! In the lead up to the big day Stuart was organized, professional, and easy to talk to. We felt that he understood our vibe, our priorities, and our constraints and took them well into account.
On the day of Stuart was extremely on top of things, he was a huge help in keeping to the schedule while at the same time helping us feel relaxed, get the shots we wanted, and focus on the day. He even managed to get some extra family portraits finished before the ceremony so folks could be more free during the cocktail hour, which I really appreciated!
During the reception it felt like Stuart had his finger on the pulse the whole time, he somehow knew what was happening and where and when to shoot without ever getting in the way. Looking back on the photos we have takes me right back to the day, the friends and family, the flowers, the feelings, the music...
Oh yeah, and the photos are gorgeous too 😂
