edding. Let me just start by saying that Sean is truly masterful when it comes to his craft; from start to finish neither my wife nor I had a worry in the world. Just the wedding process alone can be so stressful; he makes you feel confident that the day will run smooth. I am not going to lie taking pictures is one of my least favorite things to do but I was amazed how much fun I had doing it with Sean. During our engagement photos my Wife and I found ourselves laughing and having fun, it was a great day! The wedding itself went just how I thought it would, perfect! We had a very large bridal party and even bigger family with the both of us having divorced and re-married parents. I thought this would pose a challenge with just coordinating all the photos that needed to be taken. Sean is great at directing traffic and got the photos that Ashely and I wanted. He also has a knack for capturing the moment, I see so many photographers take the exact same photos at every wedding. Sean is like artist with his camera he can take a normal tree line or back drop and turn it into to something special. The reception was great as well, we saw him around but he was very good at blending in the crowd and getting every moment on camera. He was so swift and quick with his technique a lot of are wedding party was calling him a ninja. All kidding aside if you want a true professional that does outstanding work Studio 1125 is the place to go. Sean makes the day that much more special and most importantly makes it fun!

For the groom's preparation shoot, Sean interacted superbly with the groom's family and friends and got the best formal as well as impromptu shots that day. Same with the bride's side. His friendly, lighthearted personality helped keep the day not stressful, which was both helpful and appreciated. And the matrimonial heavens opened above, and with harps and horns and sufficient fanfare, WE HAD FOUND OUR PHOTOGRAPHER. After meeting with (and being underwhelmed by) a handful of LA wedding photographers, I finally took to the internet, trolling wedding sites for work I liked, and writing to anyone whose style seemed even remotely close to what we were looking for - natural, beautiful photos, someone who could not only do beautiful posed shots but also nailed flattering candids. I stumbled across Studio 1125, and sent an email along the lines of "Your work is amazing, and I'm so sorry that you're out of our budget because you're exactly what we're looking for!" Little did I know then that when you give Sean a challenge, he will do nothing short of rise to the occasion. Our decision to book Studio 1125 for our wedding was one of the best, best choices we made. Every meeting with Sean was professional but so so intimate and thorough. He is prepared to answer every question, to allay every fear; he put us at ease and made the planning process so seamless. Despite our budgetary limitations, Sean came up with a wedding package that worked within our parameters, and gave us exactly what we needed and everything we wanted. One of my favorite experiences with Sean came BEFORE the wedding, at our engagement shoot. Let's just say, I've never posted a profile pic that garnered as many "Likes" as ones that I've posted from our engagement session. y met Sean through strange circumstances...We had already chosen and put a deposit on another photographer through a personal recommendation. After an engagement session with this "friend of a friend" photographer, we realized we had made a mistake. He was not professional and I began to panic! I began looking for vendors on The Knot website and Sean from Studio 1125 was one of the first people I emailed. I let him know our situation and how scared I was of ending up with this "wanna be" wedding photographer. Sean wrote me back right away and immediately made me feel better about the situation. He is not only professional, but also personal...I felt as if i was talking to an old friend who really sympathized with me and the situation we were feeling stuck in. He spent his time giving me his advice on what to do and helped me transition from panic back to having confidence in being able to remedy the situation. He worked with us and was able to customize a package for us to accommodate for our losses with the other photographer. The minute I met with him in person, I knew that he was the photographer for us. His work is absolutely beautiful along with his personality. After getting our engagement pictures taken by him, I finally knew what it was like to have a photo session with a true professional photographer. The pictures came out absolutely amazing and I was 100% confident in knowing that our wedding pictures would be absolutely stunning. All the stress I had been going through worrying about our wedding pictures was gone and I was completely confident in Sean and his work. On the day of the wedding I was so happy to see him! He helped the day run smoothly and did his job impeccably! I felt so confident having him with us on our wedding day. On the way out of our hotel room my wedding dress actually ripped and Sean was there to help calm me down by telling me a story of another bride who went through something worse on her day. It made me realize that things are going to go wrong, but if you are surrounded by the right people you will get through it and make the best of it. It ended up being an awesome day that I will remember for the rest of my life and look back on fondly through all of the wonderful photos that Sean was able to capture...i'm glad i didn't get caught up sweating the small stuff. Once again Sean's personable touch helped me when I needed it most, and I am truly appreciative. He will not only be your photographer on your wedding day, but a confidant who you can truly rely on to just make your big day the best it can be! He went above and beyond and he truly was, as he would say, a "Photo Ninja" who came to our rescue! ;)

Before he even started talking to us about his studio, he wanted to get to know us and get a feel of what WE were looking for in terms of a photographer. He listened to our thoughts and ideas and he thought we would work great together! After looking through a sample of his work, we knew we had to schedule an appointment with him so we can get more information about him and his photography. We liked his style as his photos told a story. They were not your typical all-posed pictures, but he also captured stolen moments that really give a reflection of that special day. On the day of our engagement session, we were very nervous as we had never had done a photo shoot before. Sean made the entire session very comfortable for us. As he was taking pictures, he would ask us questions to get to know us better and makes us laugh so it would help him think of more ways to "tell our story" through the pictures. We think it's so important that you have a great interaction with your photographer as they will be capturing all your moments for the entire day. It also helps you feel more relaxed and makes the pictures look more natural. For our wedding day, we wanted to make sure he got all the details of the day. Quality photography was one of the most important priorities for our wedding and knowing it was in the hands of Sean put us at ease. Even though our hometown is unfamiliar territory for him, Sean flew to NYC with an 'empire state of mind' and quickly drew inspiration and creativity from the non-touristy locations we chose for our engagement shoot. Sean explained that our engagement session is great practice for a couple to develop a relationship with their photographer and get comfortable with having their photos taken. Some of our "money shots" included a background view of the NYC skyline and an awesome subway shot. We were so pleased with the outcome of our e-shoot and knew right away that we had made the right choice in hiring Sean for our upcoming beach wedding. I've read that Sean is deemed the "ninja photographer" and on the day of our wedding, Sean was the beach ninja, taking numerous photos from various angles at all times without us noticing (a good thing!). One does not realize Sean's elevated level of versatility and dedication to capture the key moments until you see the shots and you wonder, how and when did he take these?? For our beach wedding in Turks & Caicos, right before my walk down the aisle with my father I was comforted by the visual of seeing Sean laying horizontally across the boardwalk to get this milestone shot from the best angle. The day after our wedding, we scheduled a trash the dress session and enjoyed the extra time with Sean - we love love love the photos of us in the water with our wedding attire. r our vision of the wedding. He patiently listened to what we wanted, and then he suggested how the day should go for optimal pictures. For example, he described staging my mother zipping me into my dress, my bridesmaids holding my veil as I put on my lipstick, and anxiously waiting the *first look* exchanged with my new husband. (To be honest, I had my dress, venue, and bridesmaids picked out at this point, but it wasn't until talking with Sean that I felt like the wedding was REAL.) I had NO idea, my planner had NO idea, but Sean was very clear, organized, focused, and visionary. It brought my anxiety level down 10 fold just because I could trust he knew what was going to happen that day. His experience helped with the planning, but his leadership is what made the execution perfect. The engagement photos...I don't know about you, but I am not used to having thousands of pictures taken of me. Sean could tell when our smiles were fake or when the mood was forced. He would make me and my husband laugh, tell a joke, or just simply remind us to kiss-kiss-kiss and that we did. It was a very natural connection we had with him as a photographer. We didn't feel invaded, and we felt very natural; the pictures came out very natural...we looked genuinely happy (b/c of course we are!). The big day... Didn't even notice he was there...hahaha...that doesn't mean he wasn't present. He would sneak in and take pictures, later when I looked at them, I was thinking to myself " how did he get this shot?". Timing is everything (am I right brides?) and Sean's timing is perfect. The pictures were fantastic (if I don't say so myself). The important thing is that the photographer doesn't have to force you to smile. Sean and his team had the perfect angles, and they captured the highlights of the wedding that we will remember forever. They did a great job getting beautiful editorial type photos that look like they belong in a romantic movie. So many people wanted copies of photos immediately. You won't believe how many compliments I got just from the few I put up on facebook. Best of all, even the people who didn't go to my wedding could tell that it was a terrific wedding and we had a fabulous time! Studio1125 was incredibly profession, positively friendly, genuinely reliable, and just-plain-honest. Would I recommend them? Absolutely!! Why?? I feel like so many people in the wedding industry are in it for the money, they are just going through the motions in a cookie cutter service. However, with studio1125, I could feel that they cared for our best interest in mind. p.s. My wedding planner dropped the ball the day of. Had it not been for Sean's leadership and go-to attitude, he SAVED my wedding. He helped organize taking the photos, guided the flow of the reception, and kept us on track with the schedule. I did not know about this until months later because everything seemed so flawless, my bridesmaids filled me in on his strong work. Can't thank him enough!

Sean was then able to catch some pretty incredible pictures outside. Throughout the day, he snapped so many pictures and made sure to shoot ones we really wanted. We also took advantage of his "Fun Booth" which is a higher tech photobooth with all the props. Our guests LOVED their photos and it was a nice addition to our wedding. whole day planned to the minute! I had concerns for taking pictures before the wedding since I wanted Christian to see me for the first time walking down the aisle. I also knew we had to take pictures before the wedding for the sake of time and to take advantage of the daylight. We told him our concerns and he immediately had solutions. hrough the pictures and thought, "wow the pictures look very professional." It wasn't until I met Sean and his staff when I noticed how organic he was in his approach to photography. I appreciated how he tried to incorporate posed photo's as well as natural photos, often capturing picture perfect moments. When it came time to my wedding, I couldn't think about anyone else other than Sean for our wedding. It was to my pleasant surprise when I found out he was moving to Southern California from Chicago. He was great from start to finish. He seemed to pick up on my wife and my chemistry since the engagement session. He was patient with us and went with the flow throughout our reception. He knew most of my family that attended as well(since he also shot my cousin's firstborns 1st bday party)!!!

In this case it usually means a higher price, but Sean worked with my budget and created an amazing package for me. I ended up getting much more than I thought I could originally afford. You also know your photographer was great when your mom goes on and on and on about him. My mom thought he was so nice, personable, and easy to talk to, and she could tell that he really cared about his work. She was also very impressed on the amount of effort he put into the pictures by moving around and even getting on the ground to get the right angles for the pictures. These memories last forever and Studio 1125 was worth every penny. I have absolutely no regrets. I have complete trust in Sean’s abilities as a photographer. Sean even went out in the pouring rain to capture some of our most beautiful shots. The end result absolutely lived up to our expectations. We would highly recommend Studio 1125. It was our first meeting and we were sold and hired him for our wedding! We were very satisfied working with Sean. He made sure that all our wants and needs were accommodated. He did not only take our pictures but he also tried to learn more about his clients, what we like and dislike, what our good/favorite side/angle, what our expectations were. He is also very organized as far as taking pictures. He has a list of shots that he takes and adds other important shots that we wanted to have taken. Our engagement and wedding pictures are beautiful. They are very natural and it captured our personalities. Sean did a great job capturing the moment. to meet with us and worked with our schedule. On our first meeting, he was very friendly and personable. He was interested to know how we met, details of our engagement, etc. He showed us his portfolios and sample of the love story video. We fell in love with his work. My husband and I loves artistic designs and pictures that captures real moments! He knows that we are paying for our wedding on our own and he worked with our budget. We did our engagement session in September at Botanical Garden. Sean made us both feel at ease and comfortable- we had no idea how to pose! He knows all the right angles and good lighting. The pictures all turned out really great and we were able to use them on our wedding site and save the date card. We got married on July 3rd, 2011. Sean was very friendly to all our guests, wedding party and relatives- they all love him! All our wedding pictures were amazing! We got great compliments from our coworkers, relatives and friends - even strangers! The hardest thing for us to do now is picking out the best pictures to go on our wedding album! We highly recommend Studio1125, Sean is amazing to work with!

take my chances with a big studio that would randomly give me a photographer. When I went on Sean's website, I really saw an artistic side and he did a great job capturing great moments. We had 2 meetings before the wedding and he gave us a great idea of what to expect at the wedding in terms of his schedule and other tid bits for us :) He has a lot of experience, so he was like a wedding coordinator also :) Thanks Sean! He is a great photographer to work with, very friendly and accomodating. The wedding day was great, he kept up with the time and worked with us to get great pictures and keep up with the schedule too. We kind of ran out of time and didn't get time to take to many couple shots during the day, so Sean took us to the city after the wedding to take pictures. And those pictures are so great and it was a memorable time. I love the picutures we got and I am happy with the choice we made in choosing a photographer.

The way they personalized each aspect of their wedding through their photography, attention to detail and patience were incredible with them.... so I knew that they would be a great choice for us as well. Honestly, we were convinced when we saw our friends' wedding album...The quality was incredible, at that point we were SOLD! :) Their prices are extremely reasonable and they will customize your package to your needs. We had engagement pictures taken with Sean and Susan first, in the city and they brought a prop (a pink balloon) which was such a cute touch to our engagement pictures. We had a blast that day, as they took us to several locations in downtown Chicago. I was most impressed on my wedding day. Sean coordinated to have four photographers, YES FOUR of them taking pictures all day... We felt like celebrities. We had our own entourage! captured every angle, every detail, of every moment of our special day. Sean and Susan were always flexible working with our schedule. They made a trip to meet us at the place and time when it was convenient for us. They are very resourceful as they also recommended my make up artist. Studio1125 is a top notch photography studio. They will travel out of state for your wedding as well. I would recommend their services to anyone. If you're looking to have fun during your engagement, and wedding day and have unforgettable memories captured in your pictures with great quality at a great price... you can't go wrong with Sean and Susan.

des energy and excitement about his career and was genuinely excited about our upcoming wedding. He also brought examples of photo albums, which exceeded our expectations. My husband and I scheduled our Engagement Photo session about three months before the wedding and really wanted to include our dog in the pictures. Sean was completely fine with that and it ended up being a really fun afternoon! The pictures that we got were gorgeous and totally captured the emotions between my new husband and myself. We enlarged one of the pictures to fit into a large frame and had the picture and frame at our wedding for people to sign as our "Guest Book". The day of the wedding went very smooth...Sean ran things super-smoothly, and I didn't feel like I needed to worry about anything. He arrived early to get pictures of my hair and make-up getting done all the way to the end of the reception. Many of our wedding guests commented about how energetic and nice Sean was. When we received our pictures, we were both very impressed. Sean did a great job catching all the moments that I had forgotten about or had missed since I was doing "bride things". He arranged our photo album online and then we were able to get together with him to talk about each photo page. The arrangements are lovely; my husband and I are very happy with the whole process and the great pictures we will have for our lifetime. Overall, Sean and Studio 1125 is a great company and will do a fantastic job with your wedding pictures. I highly recommend them!

on time and very efficient - we had plenty of time to take outdoor photos. Loved the shot list that they work with, it gave me peace of mind knowing that the entire day would be captured. They put everyone at ease and wasn't pushy like some photographers. They made my wedding party, family, and friends feel comfortable in front of the camera and gave excellent directions when positioning everyone.
