I had the pleasure of working with Ren and Caleb as a day-of coordinator and was extremely impressed with them. They were kind, professional, and fun! They just shared a sneak peek of the wedding day with the bride and groom and the pictures are AMAZING. The pictures are artistic and also capture intimate moments perfectly for the couple to relive their big day!

I think it goes without saying that Studio 29 (Ren and Caleb) are the best photographers you can get. Their work/portfolio absolutely speaks for itself so I'm not going to spend too much time writing about that. Okay, a little bit more, we did our engagement session and wedding with them and seriously everyone I've talked to has said the photos are stunning and/or we picked the best photographer. I totally agree. What they provided beyond photos were some incredible memories. From the first time met them for a cocktail at the Cooperage, to our engagement photos in Shorewood, to the follow up dinner at Palomino to the actual wedding day they felt like family, they were our advocates and they really brought out our love. It's obvious in the pictures. I don't think a lot of people like getting their photograph taken and often times that anxiety shows but you can't sense any of that in our pictures. Ren and Caleb were sweet and sincere and on a day of chaos (wedding day) they never let us get to that freak out point. We will have these pictures for the rest of our lives and I couldn't be happier that we were recommended Studio 29 because they captured a candid and honest picture of our perfect wedding day/love.

I met Ren through a friend who's wedding had been photographed by Studio 29 about a year before I was engaged. She had put us in contact for venue recommendations and I couldn't help but start looking through the Studio 29 portfolio right away. After looking through Ren's photos nothing else compared. BUT - Ren and Caleb's talent and the quality of the product you get from Studio 29 is only part of the package. Once we MET the two of them, we were so impressed by how authentic and down to earth they are. This is not just a transaction for them; they genuinely love what they do and are interested in getting to know their couples and how to best capture their personalities on their wedding day. During our engagement session (which was the first time either of us had taken professional photos) Ren made us feel super comfortable and relaxed. By the time we got to the wedding day it felt like we were just hanging out with friends. Their relaxed demeanor and fun personalities made the day that much more memorable. Following the work of Studio 29 sets a high bar for expectations when it comes to your wedding day - and they FAR exceeded what we hoped for! The photos are the most incredible representation of one of the most magical days - I couldn't imagine working with anyone else!

Ren and Caleb are amazing. I cannot recommend them enough for your photos. They did our wedding and Ren did our engagement photos, and they turned out so well. They were so great at capturing so many different moments from our day and made sure to meet all of our expectations. Ren and Caleb have been outstanding to work with. Studio 29 did our Engagement photos, and we loved them so much we asked them to travel to Oregon with us for our wedding. Not only are they fun and super easy to work with, but our pictures turned out amazing! Our wedding day was 100 degrees and an outdoor wedding (every brides nightmare) and somehow Ren was able to edit our photos SO WELL that you can't even tell I was sweating and miserable. Not only are the wonderful, but they are certainly capable of handling a challenge. Will be using them for all of my life events.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Ren. Besides marrying my husband hiring Ren is the best decision I have ever made! I knew the second I met her that she was the right fit for us. She only confirmed that during our engagement session when she was so great with our dog! We just got our wedding photos back and I can't stop looking at them. Not only is she fantastic at what she does but she is also such a great person. She made us so comfortable and it really shows in the photos. Photography was always high on my priorities list but these photos surpassed my expectations. I truly feel like I am reliving my favorite day every time I look at them. That alone is priceless to me. I can't recommend Ren enough!

Upon meeting Ren at our first meeting, I knew she was right for the job. She really takes the time to get to know the couple, and creates a relationship with them - much more than just being their photographer. She asked all the right questions about our style and theme. She has the most creative ideas and is prepared with a backup plan in the event of not-so-perfect weather. We love her style of candid photography and she truly has an eye for a beautiful image. We would highly recommend her for engagement and wedding photos. She made us feel comfortable when we aren't the most comfortable having our photos taken. Caleb is also great. We took large family photos at our wedding and he placed people and organized it quickly and efficiently. They are a great pair, and after working with them we consider them more than our wedding photographers but also our friends.

By far my favorite vendor from my wedding. Ren and Caleb were both fantastic to work with not only on our wedding day, but also for our engagement pictures. Ren is incredibly talented and so down to earth that you forget that she isn't a part of your bridal party. She blends seamlessly into the big day and produces amazingly beautiful pictures, too! Highly highly highly recommend Ren for your wedding and other events!

Ren is the best wedding photographer in Milwaukee. Hands down. She is a true artist, and she captures all of the incredible little moments that make your wedding day so special. She is super detail oriented and so much fun to hang out with. We still text post wedding, and I'm always admiring her photos via Instagram. Seriously, if you have the chance to work with Studio 29, do it. Choosing Studio 29 as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made throughout this wedding planning process.

My first thought is why are there only 5 stars to give? Ren & Caleb definitely deserve about 100 stars! I can't even begin to explain my happiness with my wedding photography. I was OBSESSING over Studio 29 Photography since before I was engaged. The moment I began planning: CONTACT REN! I was determined to not set a wedding date until I knew if she was available. The first time I met Ren it was over coffee at Colectivo and at that moment I knew I wanted her to be the one to document the most precious day of my life, the conversation with her was so natural and I could see her passion for photography in the way she talked. Booking with Studio 29 Photography with the best decision I made in my wedding planning (Besides of course saying YES to the proposal :)) I booked with them before I even had a venue picked out!! When we had our engagement shoot Ren made my fiance and I so comfortable around the camera, we laughed A LOT! (So did Ren-- even more reason why she's amazing!!). Our engagement pictures turned out so beautiful! I was so impressed by the next day I already had seen a few "sneak peek" photos! I was AMAZED by how beautiful they were, and received so many compliments on them. Throughout the wedding planning process I spoke with Ren often and asked her opinion on many things, she was always so easy to get in contact with. Two weeks before the wedding I had asked Ren to make some calligraphy boards before the wedding and she happily agreed and they were stunning! She is a woman of many talents! The day of the wedding Ren and Caleb arrived on time with smiles on their faces!! Our wedding day photos are stunning already and we haven't even seen all of them (we are so impressed with the amount of photos we have to view already and the wedding was only two weeks ago) They are THE DREAM TEAM! Studio 29 was the first vendor I booked; the first step I took in wedding planning. Photos were something that were very important to us. We wanted a photographer that wouldn't be in our face the whole day and would capture real moments. I came across Studio 29 Photography on Married in Milwaukee and immediately fell in love. I set up a time to meet with Ren and left the appointment thinking.. man I want to be her friend, she's awesome. After booking Ren I asked for her advice on EVERYTHING. She became my go-to for all things wedding. She suggested a make-up artist, created perfectly designed chalk boards for us, and I even asked her opinion on our first dance song. The day of the wedding we were so at ease with Ren and Caleb. We never felt uncomfortable or unnatural which was super important to us. We could joke around and have fun with them. It felt like they were part of the wedding party. I've never really been a fan of looking at photos of myself but when we got our wedding photos back I cried. They were so beautiful, unique, and intimate. The little moments of the day were so perfectly captured. I cannot thank Ren and Caleb enough. They are so unbelievably talented and so very humble. It was an absolute pleasure working with them and I will definitely be a return costumer in the future.

Around 3 years ago, I was literally invited to 14 wedding in one year. My roommate at the time told me that if any of my friends needed a great photographer, she knew of one named Ren Davis and showed me the Studio 29 website. All my friends ended up already having wedding photographers, but I still following Studio 29 on Facebook as I was so blow away by her photography. Ren and Caleb do not do wedding photographs, they do ART! After I got engaged I knew I wanted to use Studio 29. I called her just in time as she literally had someone else call to request her the next day. We first flew Ren out to NJ (where we live) for our engagement photo session where she took the time to go to multiple locations with us for pictures, hang out and get to know us (she is super sweet and we felt so comfortable with her), and we even went to venue so she could get ideas for our wedding photographs. She even got our kitties involved! Our engagement photos came out amazing! We then flew her and Caleb out for our wedding in NJ this past September. While she was taking photographs many friends and family remarked at how creative she was with her photography. We recently received our wedding photographs and they are more beautiful then we could have imagined! My husband and I are now struggling with which ones we should frame and/or put in an album as there are literally hundreds that we love. I also want to add that we were very grateful of how flexible, easy to contact, supportive and fun to work with Ren and Caleb were throughout the entire process.

Where do I even start? If you want the best of the best. You've found your photographer(s) with Studio 29. Ren and Caleb set the bar pretty high. If you want unique, professional, artistic, and creative photos to capture those moments on your special day look no further. From the moment we met with Ren, there was an instant connection. She listens to what you are looking for, but stays true to how she photographs and puts her magic touch on everything. Watching her and Caleb work on our wedding was pretty awesome. They know what they're doing, they know how to have fun, and they do it with class. We've been blessed to be able to call them our friends through this wedding journey and we wouldn't have it any other way. We knew that we wanted to put a good portion of our budget toward our photographer and what we've received is truly priceless.

What can I say about Ren...other than that she is absolutely incredible--as a photographer and a person. I first found out about Ren when friends of ours had their engagement and wedding photos taken by her. After seeing their images I was hooked. She captured such special and intimate moments and I knew that was something that I wanted in my wedding photos. As soon I got engaged, she was at the top of contact list. I reached out to her via email and soon after we met up to talk in person. That's when we realized how personable/kind/real she is. I immediately felt as if I had made a new friend. She was so easy to talk with and was really interested in learning our love story--that meant a lot. As the wedding was approaching, we wanted to get together again to talk details. She graciously took time out of her own crazy/hectic/stressful wedding week to meet up with us. I mean, seriously, how sweet is that!? On the wedding day, she arrived early and I could feel that she shared the genuine excitement that I was feeling. :) We had so much fun doing our first look, and walking around town taking photos with her. She had us laughing/smiling/relaxed the whole time. She was also able to handle our giant wedding party (Thanks Ren!). As brides know, the wedding day FLIES by. I felt like the whole thing was a blur. As soon as I got the images in the mail, I was immediately brought back and able to relive and feel the emotions of the day. I had the biggest smile on my face as I obsessively clicked through the photos trying to find a favorite. I quickly realized that I couldn't choose JUST one. They were all so beautiful/fun/us. We got so many compliments for our photos and I just kept telling them all "Yeah, Ren killed it!" THANK YOU SO MUCH REN for capturing our big day. We had so much fun and we love our photos so much. Expect a call/email/text for the next big moments in our lives so you can document those too! We love you! :)

OUT.STANDING. Seriously, I still have people reaching out and asking about our engagement and our wedding pictures. Not only are Ren's pictures beautiful, breath-taking, and wonderful, her and her husband Caleb are just as outstanding. They are so personable, thoughtful, passionate, and hilarious. And can we mention their adorable dog that got to attend meetings? :) From the day we booked Studio 29, I knew it was the best decision we made to make our wedding dreams come true. Ren was there to guide me through the processes and answer all my questions, she not only was our wedding photographer, her and Caleb quickly became our friends. Ren is crazy talented. She's also really really great to work with -- among other things, she found a new ceremony venue for us the day before our wedding when my in-laws' flight was canceled and we had to reschedule everything! From the first meeting to the final wedding photos - Ren Davis was flawless!!! First, and most importantly her photos are candid, creative, esthetic, professional portraits - she's a true artist! We don't have to say too much about that....just check them out- CRAZY GOOD! Secondly, her ability to transform her final product to what the customer wants. Through this process, we found ourselves constantly going to her website to see what she was doing next. It seems that every photo session takes on the personality of the client through her eyes. In our photos; engagement and wedding, you can see both our personalities, styles, and most importantly what we explained that we wanted as the end product. Ren is everything you could want, need, and wish for in a wedding photographer. I've been following her work for quite some time. It is amazing to have such a talented, nationally acclaimed photographer right here in Milwaukee--but don't worry, she's always up for travel too! Artistically, she is top-notch. Technically flawless, her style is reminiscent of film photography in some ways. She doesn't shoot a million pictures and spend a ton of time editing--she knows what she wants the second she looks through the lens and adjusts her settings to capture the subject naturally. What's more, she is just about the easiest person to relate to! My future husband is a little camera-shy (notorious for cheesin' hard at the camera) and she captured him looking like a male model in every frame. She is so friendly.. she gets to know you as a person and a friend to truly capture you as a couple. I cannot wait to have her photograph our wedding. What she captures is so genuine and authentic... it is priceless. I cannot say thank you to her enough or say enough good words about Studio 29.

I could not have been happier with my engagement photos. Ren took the time to get to know us and made it a personal experience. She captured great, natural moments that I didn't even realize she got. Studio 29 was the best. Ren is not only the sweetest person you'll meet, but her talent, and artistic eye for photography is unmatched. The second my husband had me look at her photos, I knew she would be our photographer. Her service is impeccable - we are the only people I know that had wedding photos to view within 72 hours of the wedding. Once your wonderful wedding day is said and done, you are going to want to have amazing pictures to look back on that capture all of the special moments of the best day of your life. Ren Davis at Studio 29 does that and much more. We found Ren as one of the preferred vendors of our wedding venue. I first looked at her website along with other photographers and set up meetings with a few of them. I did not take the decision of who was going to shoot my wedding lightly. This was one vendor that was extremely important to me. After meeting with all of the photographers I knew instantly that Ren was the one that I wanted to work with. Her work was amazing. Looking at her pictures I felt like I was at the weddings myself. She is so great at capturing the real life moments instead of posed, created ones. And to top it all off, she is the nicest, most sincere person. She has a great laid back personality that immediately puts you at ease. She really listened to what pictures we absolutely wanted and made it a point to get to know us and capture our personalities. Ren is extremely prompt with getting back to any emails or calls. She also was extremely helpful with providing me with other vendor recommendations, as we were planning a wedding out of state. She was so sweet and checked in with me throughout the wedding planning process to see how I was doing. It is a simple extra step but I cannot say how much that meant to me. Also her worksheets that she has you fill out makes it a breeze to insure that you get all of the pictures that you want. She is extremely easy to work with and is very upfront with pricing. She has her packages and then lists for you all of the available extras and their cost. Another aspect that was really nice is that in the packages if you already had your engagement session done (as we had) she deducted that cost from your package. This was a great way for us to save some money since we did not need another engagement session. Not all photographers do this. Ren is also extremely prompt with getting your pictures to you. Within days after our wedding she had the most amazing preview up of our wedding on her blog. She is as excited about your pictures as you are which is really special. Our family member and friends couldn't stop gushing about the preview and how amazing the pictures are. Ren is truly talented! The rest of our pictures were loaded quickly and we received our USB with all 1200 some pictures about a month later. I can look at them all day long. She could not have done a better job capturing our wedding day. She is truly amazing and we will thoroughly enjoy re-living our wedding day. I have decided to have her help us create a wedding album. I could not be more excited to create it but it is going to be nearly impossible to pick the pictures for it. They are all so amazing. I cannot say enough great things about Ren Davis. She is the best at what she does. I am happy to say that not only do I have the most amazing pictures, I have also made a great new friend in the process. I highly recommend her and am looking forward to working with her again in the future.

Ren and Caleb of Studio 29 Photography are wedding photography rock stars. They are professional, creative, and just overall amazing people. I met Ren when she was photographing my best friend's wedding last fall and the minute I got engaged she was my first vendor call. Ren truly cares about her brides and goes above and beyond to make sure her clients are happy. I have been nothing but impressed with Studio 29 Photography. I happened to find Studio 29 Photography on married in milwaukee. I knew immediately after browsing though the photos that it was exactly what I was looking for. I emailed Studio 29 through the website and Ren responded very quickly. My fiance and I were very nervous to take engagement photos and Ren made it feel so easy and natural. It was like being photographed by a friend of ours after only meeting her one other time! I first saw Ren’s (Studio 29) work after she did my brother-in-laws engagement photos. From there I started following everything she did and became hooked. I love her style of work, the way she captures the moment & the personality of the people she is photographing. When I met her at my brother-in-laws wedding, I knew I would have her as photographer at my wedding. She was professional but was also someone that I could see hanging out with. My fiancé was so nervous to do the engagement photos but once we started Ren had made him feel so comfortable, that he actually really enjoyed it. It was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. We felt like models doing a photoshoot and it was just so much fun. The day of our wedding she was absolutely amazing and kept everything running smoothly. She made sure that I had every shot I wanted and asked if there was anything else I needed before she left. When I look at our engagement & wedding photos I know how I felt in those moments. Ren captured the best of my husband & me, she captured the essence of our relationship. I look at those pictures and I can see the love and happiness in our faces. Wow! What can I say about Ren and Caleb of Studio 29 Photography...I instantly became obsessed with their work. She was the first vendor I chose for our wedding and would've moved our date to match her availability. This was prior to having met her. Ren's personality is part of what makes the whole experience. Besides being insanely talented, she made me feel at ease through the whole process. Someone that makes you feel relaxed and comfortable on your wedding day is PRICELESS. I never doubted her skill and judgment and gave Ren and Caleb free creative rein to do what they do best the day of our wedding. Our pictures are flawless. We are so sad we can't live this day every day of our lives :) but now we have GORGEOUS photos to keep memories alive. I look at them daily and tell everyone I meet, they are worth every penny. When we first met Ren she asked us "what would you do if you saw a penguin walk in the door wearing a sombrero?" It was the funniest and best icebreaker we had experienced and made her unforgettable. We had discovered her work several months before we got engaged. She had shot the most beautiful wedding photos we had seen of a friend's wedding. After meeting with several other big named photographers we knew we had to go with Ren. Ren is more than your photographer. She finds the goofiest ways to bring up genuine smiles so that it doesn't even seem like you're in front of a camera. From our engagement photos to our wedding photos she caught the most beautiful and special moments, some we couldn't have even imagined. On our wedding day she was able to capture every special moment and more. She was flexible and went above and beyond to get the best photos possible. Once you've worked with Ren it's highly unlikely you'll go to another photographer. Like ever. We know we'll be calling her for all future baby photos and more. What can I say about Ms. Ren Davis and Studio 29 aside from the obvious? Upon meeting her for the very first time, one can’t help but notice the sweet disposition and incredibly warm composure she exudes. One also can’t help but fall madly in love with her old soul and undeniable passion for life and what she does best – photography. I wish I knew more about photography to adequately articulate just how beautiful, vibrant, precise, unique, and diverse Ren’s work is, but if you’ve seen it, you know that sometimes words can’t even describe. “A picture is worth a thousand words,” as they say. Where to begin?! Ren truly made everything about our wedding amazing. From the engagement shoot (where she made us feel so comfortable) to the wedding day - She was a calming presence and added to our day. She had great suggestions throughout for locations, which resulted in the most beautiful pictures. My friends and family were blown away by the photographs. My thought before the wedding was ai hoped i had at least a few pictures I'd be happy enough to order and now I am in the wonderful position of not knowing which ones to not order. Ren is 5 stars and anyone would be lucky to have her as a part of their wedding!!

My wife and I used Studio 29 Photography for our engagement session and our wedding this year. We had a few ideas for both our wedding and engagement photos which Ren made sure to make look amazing. On top of that she took the time to meet/talk/email with us to make sure we had thought of everything we would want/need for these photos. She was very professional on both days and also helped to get people in place on the day of the wedding so things would keep moving smoothly. She took amazing pictures, then did some of the best editing I've ever seen to make every picture look even better, she also got our samples back to us by the next day and had all our pictures to us within a few weeks. Honestly, I don't think we could have asked for anything more. We will make sure to use her in the future once we will need baby, then family photos. We will for sure be repeat customers. If you go with Studio 29 you can't go wrong. Book soon because she is in demand and can get booked a year or more in advance!

I have so many good things to say about my experience with Ren at Studio 29. While the photos clearly speak to her talent behind a camera, it is her customer service that has prompted me to write a review. I reached out to Ren while I was planning my wedding from out of the country. She was so easy to get in touch with, responded quickly with detailed answers to my questions, and was so patient and flexible working with me to find time to meet when I arrived back to the US. I was very surprised and relieved by how friendly and down to earth Ren is. For her talent, I expected a more prideful personality. I am so impressed with her friendly demeanor and how much she seems to truly care about her clients. Her approach to her business relationships is similar to how a friend would approach another friend, I think that speaks volumes. Being treated like a friend rather than a client has left a very positive lasting effect. As the wedding came closer, Ren was very accessible via email and responsive with any questions or concerns I had. She fit in very well with my crazy wedding party, and was very professional and courteous to any request by my husband, family, or myself. She carried my photo list with her at all times, and I frequently saw her checking through the list for the night of the wedding, which I really appreciated. While I only got married about two weeks ago and have yet to see all the finalized images, I write this review confident in her ability, and impressed with the sincere customer service I have received thus far. I look forward to her final images, and have no doubt in my mind that I will be reaching out to her in the future with other photographic needs, or even just to say hello.

My fiancé went to high school with Ren and through that they know a lot of the same people. Even before we were engaged, I'd see her work on various engagements, weddings, and family shoots pop up on my Facebook news feed and always stop whatever I was doing to admire it. When we met with Ren to talk about our upcoming wedding, her excitement about what we could do together got us even more excited! With every pre-shoot text and email, it really felt like we were more and more connected on what look and feel of the engagement shoot would be. She is exceptionally talented at photography, as shown by her work and the recognition she deservedly gets. Ren also has a knack for understanding what her clients want and bringing that out in pretty and exciting ways, all while making the whole process very comfortable. It was probably about 4 years ago now and I already knew who I wanted to be my photographer... REN from Studio 29 Photography!!!! I remember when she was just starting up the business. My family and I always knew she would be great. Not only is she so extremely talented, but she is also such an amazing person at heart. She is a down to earth person. As soon as you meet her you instantly feel like you have been good friends forever! As soon as I got engaged I knew I had one thing I could cross of the list right away and I contacted Ren! We actually re-arranged our wedding date to make sure we could have her as our photographer, and I know that was the best decision!!!! We just recently had our engagement photos taken in mid-October and I cannot believe how amazing they turned out! I was so anxious about the session, but as soon as we met up with Ren my nerves went right away. She makes you feel so comfortable during the session and is so creative. We had a blast taking them! She takes the simplest ideas and turns them into something magical. Everything feels so natural, and as soon as you see the pictures they are so beautiful you will get compliments from everyone at how stunning they are! I love love love all of our photos and I am so happy, every time I look at them I am uncontrollably smiling! She even makes sure to send you a preview as you anxiously await them! When we began the process of planning for our wedding, the first and most important thing for me was to find a photographer that I liked. I wanted someone who I felt I could trust to turn every picture into a work of art that I would want to hang up and share with my loved ones. I also wanted to stear clear of the traditional overly posed look. I began my search online and created a list of a few that I liked, and ran them past the fiance. Once he approved I reached out to those I liked and not only was Ren Davis, of Studio 29, the first responder, she was also the most enthusiastic. I automatically felt a connection to her because she seemed so personable. Within minutes of meeting her we were completely sold. Not only does she know what she's doing with a camera, but we felt like we were talking with an old friend, which was super fun! When we scheduled our engagement shoot I was so nervous, but Ren kept reassuring me they'd be awesome. Once we started shooting, my fiance and I were both totally comfortable. She let us goof around and laughed at little things we'd say or do. We had such a blast and once we saw the result we were so overwhelmingly happy with the result. Ren is a true professional and she puts forth the effort of creating a friendship with all of her clients. I can't wait for the wedding day because I know that we'll have the most beautiful photos.

Before I was even engaged I knew who I wanted to take my wedding pictures. Studio 29 was a staple to my Facebook and pintrest page and there wasn't (and still isn't) a time that one of Ren's photos would pop up that I couldn't help but like or re-pin it. Once my husband and I had a date on the calendar, I had a contract with Ren. Ren was extremely easy to work with. She was very flexible when scheduling engagement sessions, and quick to answer any questions I had when planning out the wedding. There are times when I can be an over planner, however when it came to wedding pictures I felt extremely laid back. I contribute this 100% to Ren; I knew that with her eye and ability to see every detail around her that not one shot or part of the wedding would be missed. Not to mention she does this in such a way that guests and even myself don't even notice that she is there. This ability to blend in with the church, party, and environment generates the most candid, beautiful shots. Sometimes I think she may have had a magic invisibility cloak. Speaking of magic, as I look back at pictures now 2 months later, I am still seeing details that I missed on the big day. From catching the few minutes of beautiful blue sky we had(wondrously out the same time as group pictures), to capturing reflections in puddles I never even noticed were there. It is almost as if she herself magically placed them there just for the picture. After the wedding her magic showed again.. within two days we had a sneak peak posted to her blog & 150+ photos edited in a preview album. This was amazing because I was able to share these with friends, family, and co-workers that weren't able to come to the wedding while it was still so fresh and new. One co-worker even went out of her way to say "Megan, your wedding photos are some of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing, your pictures are just incredible!". Also Before we even hit our one month anniversary Ren had edited all 1300+ of our pictures and we had the cds of all of them in hand. If that's not magic, then she must not sleep and edit through the night! Aside from my choice of husband, Studio 29 & Ren was the best choice I made for my wedding day. I could not be more grateful in having her there so I can have such a beautiful reminder of such a special day. I will forever cherish all the pictures Ren has taken for me. Forever in the future, she will be the only person I will trust in immortalizing all of my special moments and the one person I will recommend to family and friends. If there are any brides out there looking for a photographer I suggest hiring the only one I suspect has magical powers, Ren Davis, Studio 29!

Ren Davis was our incredibly talented, creative, and passionate wedding photographer, but most importantly she became a true friend. When I started wedding planning, I found Studio 29 Photography through wedding photos of my graduate school supervisor. I started following Ren's website and was immediately sold by her ability to capture each couples personality and love for each other in the pictures. When I first met Ren at a local coffee shop, she was professional and gave me honest advice about wedding venues and vendors in the Milwaukee area. I appreciated her kind and upbeat personality and petting her sweet puppy during our meeting. Leading up to our wedding date, Ren communicated with me consistently via email/text. The morning of the wedding Ren and her amazing second shooter Caleb were incredibly helpful and organized. They both have an innate ability to control a large group of people while making everyone feel comfortable. Ren and Caleb not only captured every detail of our wedding day, but the genuine moments of happiness that my fiance and I felt for one another. From day ONE Ren was a phenomenal resource for wedding planning, helping in every aspect she could to make the process as streamlined as possible. Ren is someone who truly listens to your vision of how your wedding day will be and helps make sure that dream comes true. She not only makes that dream come true through the lens of her camera, but behind the scenes as well. On our wedding day Ren was running around snapping amazing photographs, but also taking the time to talk to our DJ and caterer. She made sure the day was remaining on schedule and didn’t hesitate to make suggestions. Most importantly, she encouraged us to take a moment and soak the day in. Ren Davis with Studio 29 was recommended to us by one of my wife's co-workers. When we met with Ren for our initial consultation we immediately knew that we wanted her to shoot our wedding. Ren is extremely high-energy and it is very apparent that she loves what she does. Furthermore, she is easy to relate to and open to suggestions, qualities which allow her to capture moments of intimacy which might otherwise be lost to a less personable photographer. We were very pleased with the results of our engagement session, and received many compliments on the photographs from relatives and friends. Despite rain on the wedding day, Ren was still able to capture some beautiful photographs, and completely exceeded our expectations when she offered to meet with us over the weekend to take additional photographs during good weather. We could not be more pleased with our experiences with Ren and Studio 29, and would highly recommend her to anybody who asks. She does fall between the mid-higher price range, but in our opinion, with photography "what you pay for is what you get." Worth every penny!

My fiance & I met Ren a year before our wedding. After our first meeting with her, we knew she was going to be the perfect wedding photographer - and we couldn't have been more right. From the minute Ren introduced herself, her first priority was creating a relationship with us. Her & I went on multiple Starbucks, lunch & dinner dates. Ren wanted to ensure that on our wedding day, she wasn't just a vendor, but a friend. Ren traveled with us to our college town for our engagement shoot and made sure we felt comfortable every time she had her camera out. It is evident that Ren loves what she does, and her pictures are AMAZING. Our wedding pictures could not have been more perfect, and Ren was the perfect friend to have hanging out on our wedding day taking our pictures. Ren is a fantastic photographer AND friend!

Ren was such a pleasure to work with. She was so professional and passionate but yet so much fun to have on our special day! Ren was very flexible in regards to meeting with us to discuss our engagement and wedding options and was also realistic about some of my requests that I had found on various websites. Especially bringing ideas from Pintrest, which she encourages! She took a rowdy, excited group and was able to get us all under control to take those wonderful pictures during the day. My husband and I booked Ren for our wedding planned in June 2014. We then decided to have a destination wedding in Mexico that January. I was not willing to give up our photographer after seeing her work. Ren was able to come with us to Mexico and again take pictures at our reception in the states. Ren is so easy going and easy to work with and she captured every single moment! To say we were happy with her and the pictures is an understatement. Ren exceeded all of our expectations. We would recommend her to anyone!!

Choosing Ren was one of the best decisions I made when it came to planning our wedding!! Disclaimer:If you are looking for cookie-cutter, standard wedding photos... she might not be the best fit. However, if you are searching for a photographer who does quirky, unique, and overall fantastic work... choose Studio-29! She went above and beyond my expectations, many times over. Our engagement photos were stunning, and so good they were featured several times on various media. We were blown away by all of the photos, both from our engagement session and the wedding day. She captured so many moments, big and small... You can really tell Ren gets to know each and every couple well. For me she became a friend, gave me someone to discuss wedding details with over coffee (added bonus for coffee lovers), and captured a day full of memories that I can keep forever!!

Full disclosure- I discovered Ren of Studio 29 because she is my dear friend's cousin. However, that in no way clouds my ability to recognize her as an outstanding artist. From a professional stand point, she is truly a gifted photographer. Her vision and technique set her apart from many local photographers. My husband and I were thrilled with our engagement and wedding photos. She traveled to shoot for us and was always readily available for communication every step of the way. She posted preview photos within 24 hours and was just an all around delight to work with. Our photographer was one of our larger expenses, and she was worth every penny. I highly recommend Studio 29.

AMMMAAAZZING! Every time we look at photos that Ren took, my husband says, "man she's good at her job. I'm so glad we had Ren as our photographer!" And that completely describes Ren. Her pictures are amazing. Any of my friends can attest that I don't usually like photos of myself, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the photos from our wedding. Ren captured the entire day perfectly. She has a way of getting every shot--even ones that you didn't know you wanted, or didn't even notice she was taking! She put us, our bridal party, and our guests at ease with her calm, modest, confidence. We're soooo glad that we discovered Ren after she photographed a friend of ours wedding. Ren loves what she does, and she's truly gifted at capturing beautiful pictures. And...she loves dogs...that's always a solid trait in a person....so she doesn't mind if you bring your fluffy (or not fluffy I'm sure) dog along for pictures. Ren's work is incredible.

Ren's photography is brilliant. She captures not only the moment, but the feeling behind the moment. She has an amazing eye for finding perfect shots amidst unexpected, unrehearsed and completely spontaneous moments. At the same time, she is great at providing direction to create amazing photos. In addition to her awesome creative talent, Ren is professional, organized and flexible. We had a large wedding party (20 people total!), and Ren created perfect group photos. She managed to keep everyone engaged, laughing and having a great time. She had our photo preview done within a few days after the wedding (and of course it was incredible). The bottom line: The photos were spectacular, Ren is an all-around fabulous person, and we were so happy that Studio 29 was part of our big day!

My husband and I cannot stress this enough- Ren Davis at Studio 29 is the absolute BEST photographer anyone planning their wedding could want!! She is so sweet, so patient and SO SO good! When she showed us 1 picture from our engagement shoot, she was already worth every penny!! Her attention to detail, her editing styles and her keen sense of style is exactly what brides these days need and want. I never really had to show her too much of what I wanted- she takes the time to get to know you and you can trust she will create incredible photos without a single Pinterest pin! But she's also SO open to getting 400 pins of pictures and she will work each photo in that you want. She's so great, cannot stress it enough. Your photos are the only thing you will have to remember your wedding day and you don't want everything staged and posed...Ren captures it all and even the moments you weren't there for or forgot, she captures it and the second you get your wedding photos back your going "oh my gosh I didn't know we took this picture! This is great!"...Ren will forever be our family photographer now that our wedding is over. I am a firm believer that there are people put on this planet that you are supposed to cross paths with and your life will forever be changed. That is what we found when we found Ren. She is such a wonderful, caring, spectacular individual…and her photos, her photos will take your breath away! I have never looked at a photograph the way I look at the ones she shoots. You feel every single emotions presented by the couple in the photos and you can feel how Ren felt taking the photo. We met with Ren one afternoon for about an hour; when we got in the car to go home my fiancé looked at me and ask “Did we just find our photographer?” I quickly replied “Hell Yes!” and then I believe that there was a celebratory high five shared between the two of us. We were so completely content with our decision that I literally could not stop stalking her Facebook page. I now consider Ren my ‘friendographer’ after countless emails, laughs and even some tears. With that being said if you are looking for someone who is just going to show up and take pictures, I don’t think Ren is the gal for you. But, if you are looking for a photographer who can be a friend, someone who will feel what you are feeling, and just be there with you for every single moment, then I think you have no choice other than to book Ren. And once that contract is signed, sit back, relax, and know that you just made the best decision for your wedding. And know that every photo you get from Ren and Studio 29 will leave you craving more.

Ren is amazingly talented and we are so lucky to have had Studio 29 photograph our wedding. Ren's vision and eye for detail resulted in amazing photos of our special day that we will be proud of forever. She was able to accommodate our needs before, during, and after our wedding without hesitation. Our preview went live in only a couple of days so we could relive all of the excitement and joy we felt while it was fresh in our minds. First, Ren was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I’m so glad we did! Before meeting with Ren, I spent a long time scouring the internet to find the right wedding photographer, until I finally found Studio 29. After looking at her website and pictures and meeting with her I knew her style and personality was what we were looking for. Ren is extremely organized, and was really helpful in planning. From the moment we saw Ren’s style we knew she would be the perfect photographer for our wedding day. Ren has a way of capturing all the details with putting a spin of her style while keeping to what is important for you as a couple. When we were meeting with Ren before the wedding, Angie was explaining how she is a “picture freak” and had many ideas of what she would like captured on the wedding day. Ren and Sara joined the fun with the wedding party on the party bus as we went from one photo opportunity to the next. As we stopped at the variety of places for our photo-ops we felt much more comfortable in front of the camera than we thought we initially would. Ren let us be ourselves and made us laugh. It was much appreciated that there was so much of a focus on what we wanted as a couple. When we got the preview of our wedding pictures, every single person who saw just a fraction of the many AMAZING pictures could not stop ranting about the beautiful moments that were captured by Ren of Studio 29 Photography. Many people have asked for contact information to refer their friends and family to Ren. We have no doubt in our minds that they will be blown away with Ren’s sense of creativity, professionalism and dedication to her wonderful talents of being a photographer. Long before my husband and I were even engaged, my then boyfriend would randomly be looking at Facebook, and insist I stop what I'm doing, and look at the most recent post from his high school friend, Ren. Look at these colors, look at the light, this moment, the emotion!! I was hooked. When we got engaged, Ren was the first and last photographer we met with. I was already sold from what I had seen. What I did not anticipate is the amazing, professional, funny, creative, and caring little lady bug of a person she turned out to be! Our engagement session with Ren was only the second time we had met, but felt like three old friends hanging out and cracking jokes like we had known each other for years. She caught pictures so poignant, they still make me tear up to this day. When they started showing up on Facebook, I felt like a celebrity. Her pictures are beautiful, because they're you in your truest form. Fast forward to wedding day. Ren was professional, innovative, and so unbelievably kind. She won't restrict herself to being your photographer that day, or through your planing journey. She was texting me exclamation points with countdowns to the day, and ideas for location shots. She was crying with my bridesmaids, asking if I needed help, or coffee, checking in, and genuinely invested in ensuring I was having the best time possible, while capturing memories for us. Her eye for detail, enthusiasm about the perfect shot, and overall caffeinated happiness is contagious. RENs commitment to get you the photos you seek is unmatchable. Her genuine concern and interest she takes with her clients is what stands her out to other vendors. She's willing to go the extra mile ensure your happiness.
