I absolutely loved working with Tabitha and her photos of my very small wedding turned out STUNNING. She was on time (despite the distance and traffic), super creative, had a positive and high energy personality, and even got my step son to smile for photos (which I have a hard time doing!) I love my portfolio and I can't wait to publish them onto canvases. Pricing was fair and turn around time was average, I didn't feel that it was excessively long. She was responsive to emails and questions I had about anything. I have 0 complaints and would absolutely recommend her for wedding photography.
She presents very well but SCREWED us over. We were suppose to have a second shooter and come wedding day only Tabitha was there with an excuse as to why we didn't have a second shooter. We then waited multiple months for our photos, when are contract stated 6 weeks, after we received our photo's we worked out a deal to get some money back for not having a second shooter. Tabitha then came up with multiple excuses as to why she didn't send the money.
1) Something went wrong with paypal...
2) check got lost in the mail...
3) father in law had a heart attack...
4) her son had the flu...
5) she moved up north...
6) Check was lost in the mail...
It has now ben 9 months and she no longer responds to emails, phone calls or text messages.
We love her work!!! Tabitha has the ability to find that sparkle in everyones eyes. She has done my kiddos photos since they were born and i have had nothing but amazing experiences with her!! She is great with my kids. She is professional. She makes you feel comfortable and brings the best out you to capture those images. We think she is amazing and cant wait until our next shoot!!!
I wish there was a 0 star rating. We had an engagement photo shoot with her on July 19, and she got us the pictures on Aug 17 (she promised to give them to us in a week). Then, Tabitha didn't show up for the photo shoot in the cities on Aug 14, cancelled 40min before, when we already were there and booked a hotel(didn't refund me for that until September 6)! By that time we already booked a wedding package with her for the summer of 2017 ($1,725), and paid in full because of her tricks. She told us that there's a special, and if we pay that day, we would get $300off, and that there are people who want to book her for that day right now (Note, we booked her in July, 2016 for July 2017 for a *Friday* wedding! - what's the probability that someone else wanted to book her for that same day). We were excited, so didn't realize she just wanted to get our money. As a result of her not showing up and getting us the pictures late, we decided we don't need her services for our wedding, so we cancelled and asked for our money in August, 2016. At first, she admitted her fault and SAID SHE WILL GIVE US THE WHOLE AMOUNT IN ONE WEEK! After we waited for 2 weeks, she said she could only pay a half, and again never did! So, we SUED her in the Stearns County Court and won (she breached the contract and hasn't perfored any services yet (since the wedding in next year), so now *owes us $1,802*)! Even though she oferred to pay us a half in August, as of right now, we *haven't received anything*!!! I messaged her, asking when and how does she want to pay, and she never responded and blocked me on Facebook. Now, we are going to sue her again for refusing to follow the court order. We really need that money right now!!! So, instead of preparing for the wedding, I have to deal with all that!!!
We knew Tabitha from Studio 29 long before we got married! She is so very talented and sweet. I have done several shoots with her and it was an easy decision to have her shoot our wedding. She made everything go so smoothly and everyone feel very comfortable and FUN! I would recommend Studio 29 to EVERYONE for their wedding photography!
My fiance and I met Tabitha while she was shooting another friend's wedding in Jamaica. We saw her do such a fabulous job with their wedding, so when it was our turn, we knew right where to go! Tabitha not only shot our wedding, but our engagement photos as well as a special gift for my now husband ;) Both my husband and I feel awkward posing for photos, but with her direction, we felt super comfortable and the results were incredible! We had the misfortune of rain on our big day, but with her clever photography, we still ended up with great outdoor shots that show off the beauty of our venue. And brides, if you're looking for the perfect wedding gift for your husband, I highly recommend one of Tabitha's boudoir sessions. Again, I'm awkward and don't consider myself to be a "sexy" person, but damn... she made me look and feel amazing and my husband was floored!
Tabitha was an AMAZING photographer, she did our wedding photos and it was worth every cent! For the getting ready photos, she helped make not only myself, but my bridesmaids and their daughters feel completely relaxed and at ease while taking photos. Not only that, but she was willing to travel to other locations and helped to arrange the first look photos, which were outside in a very public place, and was able to keep my husband from catching any sight of me prior. (I should also note my husband isn't a big fan of having his photo taken, but Tabitha once again worked her magic and charm and had Chris laughing and smiling like she wasn't even there! I loved it!)
She captured all of the perfect little moments from our ceremony and reception and our guests couldn't get enough of her! Everyone complimented on how nice and professional she was, and that most of the time they didn't even know she was taking their photos candidly. Our wedding party had a blast with her, and she was able to catch some of the best, unscripted moments between us and our closest friends.
If you're looking for a photographer who will not only respect you, but your guests, other vendors and that will blend right in, Tabitha is the one for you! From start to finish, everything was very clear, simple, and we never felt pressured to do anything or make any decisions right on the spot. We were able to trust her 100%, and we're both so happy that we did! Her passion for photography really does shine through in her work, and the final product will leave you speechless. I wouldn't have had it any other way, thank you so much Tabitha for helping us capture our special day in all of it's pureness, it's one that we'll remember forever!
**DON'T FALL FOR HER TACTICS!**
Tabitha & I initially hit it off well when we met on our coffee date & she was offering me an amazing deal. She told me that the offer was expiring that day & 3 other brides wanted my date (creating a sense of urgency even though there probably weren't actually 3 other brides). I told her that she was the very first photographer I met & would need more time. She initially understood.
But then, that very same night, she texted me saying that another bride left her a voicemail during our coffee date & wanted to give me first dibs on my date (which you'd think she'd give the first person who contacted her first dibs, so I was suspicious). I kindly declined since I did not feel comfortable settling with the first photographer I met & wanted to shop around a little more.
She continued to text me (as I was trying to enjoy a dinner date with my fiancée that she knew I was having) insisting that she NEEDED me in her portfolio because I had such beautiful red hair (sucking up to me). She even dropped the price down to $500 more for me (in which you'd think she'd choose the bride who would pay full amount over me...).
Once we agreed on the lower price I told her I still wanted more time to meet with other photographers to make my final decision. She said she would give me another month but needed a $500 deposit immediately. She said she was driving at the time & could not update the contract, but she needed the deposit right away. I told her no contract, no deposit & I will wait for her to return from her weekend trip on Sunday to send me the contract before I give her the deposit. She kept on demanding that I pay the deposit now & she would send the contract as soon as she got to her computer. I never got the contract that night, so I went to bed super annoyed that she was bugging me the whole night I was trying to enjoy a nice dinner with my fiancé.
It doesn't end here. The very next morning I began getting bombarded again with text messages from her demanding a deposit. She said she needed my deposit by 10am that morning. I told her that I did not have enough time to carefully read over the contract & send the deposit that morning as I was already running late for a bridal shower I was attending that morning.
I finally had enough and told her that I was EXTREMELY turned off by the way she was handling the situation & not respecting my need for more time. It was an amazing deal, but I didn't like how she was pushing me around.
Needless to say, I am NOT hiring with this woman. If she was pissing me off THAT much already why would I want to pay her $1,000 to piss me off on my WEDDING DAY?! If she was a real professional businesswoman she would've gone with the "other bride" that wanted my date, especially if she was willing to pay full price that night. She just seemed very fishy & was very rude throughout the whole process. She is the first photographer I've met thus far & has put a bad taste in my mouth already. I pray to GOD the other photographers hold a higher level of professionalism than Tabitha!
Working with Tabitha was an amazing experience. She was very flexible and accommodating to all requests. She had a lot of ideas and worked well with my theme. She kept everyone smiling! I highly recommend Tabitha for all brides looking to have beautiful and memorable photos.
I can't thank Tabitha and Michaela enough. We researched quite a few photographers as I had a vision on how I wanted our photos to go and their work was exactly what we were looking for. I came with one idea of a photo I wanted to do and was expecting just to do family photos thereafter, and Tabitha and Michaela took it to a whole other level. We did multiple locations and different shots, they were patient with some stubborn family members and had great ideas on other photographs. Our expectations were more than met, we are looking forward to seeing the remainder of our photos and are confident in their work. A few days ago I started thinking and thought that we had just found a photographer for our wedding, but in reality, we found a photographer for life that we will be sure to use again and again as my new wife and I move forward in our lives. Again, thanks to Studio29 for sharing in our day and the great work they did!
