Lia is an absolutely wonderful photographer and I will cherish the pictures she took at our wedding forever. I would without hesitation recommend her for all of your photography needs. She has done multiple sessions for our family in the past and we knew that we had to have her at our wedding! The pictures she took really captured the joy, happiness and love in ways we never imagined were possible. They by far exceeded all of our expectations! Lia is professional, organized, always quick to respond, extremely artistic, passionate about what she does and one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. I will be forever grateful for the memories she captured on our wedding day!

My husband and I are so grateful to have had Lia as our wedding photographer! From our first meeting, Lia was supportive of our vision for our wedding day. We wanted the day to be filled with meaning and fun, and Lia had great ideas about how we could achieve that. We met with her prior to our wedding and she took so much time to go over every detail. She worked with us every step of the way and truly became an important resource in our wedding planning. Our engagement shoot is a wonderful example of Lia’s creativity and flexibility. She traveled to our home in Washington, D.C. to help us document our engagement and our first home together. I was a little nervous being in front of the camera at first, but Lia made us comfortable and we ended up having a blast! Those photos are ones that Adam and I will treasure our whole lives. On wedding day, Lia and her second photographer were absolutely everywhere! She ensured we got all of the photos we had discussed in our planning meeting, but more than that she captured so much love that day! Lia also helped with timing and and even some minor emergencies that are bound to happen on wedding day! Lia had worked with us to create our timeline and knew exactly what needed to happen throughout the day. She and her second photographer worked so hard that day, and one thing that I am especially grateful for is Lia's enthusiasm for the more unique shots that Adam and I wanted. We wanted a first touch (not a first look!) and a private last dance. These added time and some additional logistics to our timeline, but Lia worked with us to make it work! Those moments in particular are some of our favorite memories from the day, and we have every moment captured! When we got our pictures back, we could not believe how many perfect shots there were! We had more photos than we ever imagined, and we spent hours pouring through them- and shedding a few tears too! We cannot wait to give these as holiday presents in the coming months, and we know our families will be thrilled. I would absolutely recommend Studio 2b to any couple planning a wedding. Lia helped us feel calm about our wedding and provided such a fun environment, and it shows in our pictures.

What a wonderful experience we had with Lia! She captured every moment of our big day without having us feel like we were standing around for pictures for hours. She made us feel so comfortable which allowed us to enjoy all the details of our wedding without any stress. Her photos are beyond beautiful and something we will cherish forever. We highly recommend Studio 2B and Lia! We have now used her twice! She just finished our second daughter's wedding. Her photography is fantastic. She does a great job with all the group pictures as well as capturing wonderful candids. Lia is so easy to work with and is very helpful with the planning in advance of the wedding. She is never in the way and works well with everyone. She works quickly and doesn't make pictures drag on forever! We really love and cherish many of the moments she caught of the bride and groom before and during the wedding. Her artistic work is beautiful as well as her fun and informal pictures that she captures of the wedding party. We have numerous photographs to look at and will enjoy for years to come. Lia is AMAZING! I highly recommend Lia Lester for any of your wedding photography needs. I was able to see Lia work a wedding prior to asking her to photograph our wedding. She literally did not stop taking photos for hours. She caught moments that only true artists can capture. She definitely captures the personalities of the couples in her photography. I was so impressed with her work ethic and photography skills after seeing her shoot a family member’s wedding that we HAD to have her. I could not have been more thrilled with all photos from our wedding. She captured things that I didn’t even think of when planning for the wedding. If you want a quality photographer who is very organized and professional and has a tremendous artistic eye, then Lia is the one for you. I love working with Lia! My fiancé had Lia snap photos of our proposal and she did such a great job! I love having photos from the actual proposal and being able to relive those moments! She did a great job at hiding and letting us enjoy the moment in private but still managed to capture the whole thing and the emotions behind it all! She also took our engagement photos, and I'm so in love with them! She makes us feel so comfortable and is able to catch all of the sweet tender moments between us without the pictures looking staged or awkward! Lia is so easy to work with, she's so creative and professional, and I'm always blown away by the results!
