utation in the photography community. She was supportive, thoughtful, and accomodating throughout each part of the process. Before the wedding, Connie was very transparent about her style, let us look through albums of her work, and even asked about family dynamics so she could be mindful of the kind of support we would need on the wedding day.
She was a calming presence throughout the wedding day, and really spent time exploring the property in order to get unique shots with the best lighting. During the reception, Connie pulled us aside to take photos on the stage of "The Shed" at Tanglewood, which ended up being some of our favorite photos. As we were walking back, she suggested my husband and I stop and take a few minutes with one another to watch all of the people dancing, laughing, talking, and recognize that it was our love that brought everyone together - it was one of the most memorable parts of that day.
Her photos captured moments that we were not even aware of at the time, but ended up being so representative of the kind of event that we wanted for ourselves, families, and friends - images we would never have even thought to ask for. She got along well with the other vendors and worked closely with the videographer even though they had not met prior.
She was VERY patient and understanding about the album-building process, and took many hours to go through the pictures so our album told a story, and incorporated the most important people who were there with us that day.
Honestly I really can't say enough positive things about Connie. After the wedding, it's the pictures that you are left with, and having a photographer that truly listens to what you're looking for, then enhances it with their artistic style, is more than can be asked for. We adore her!!!

Her endless patience and calming demeanor throughout the planning process and on our wedding day was key and it wouldn’t have been the same without her. aptured the all the moments and details of the day. She has a very sweet and calm attitude, which can be great amid the chaos of the wedding day.
She took the time to visit our venue (Boston Public Library) with us beforehand and talk through some of the best places to capture photos. She also did a great job of giving us options for balancing our wish list of photos with realistic expectations. For example, we wanted some group shots w/ friends at the wedding and the amount of time it would take to gather all the folks we wanted in the pics would have eaten up a huge chunk of time during the reception so we opted only to do a few.
We ending up ordering a wedding album through her. The cost was very high but the finished product was beautiful. My husband and I had very specific ideas of what photos we wanted and also specific preferences for the layout and Connie was very accommodating. At the same time, had we not had very specific opinions re: layout, she would have also be able to come up with a beautiful album on her own.
Definitely would recommend Studio Atticus!

y, and has such a great style of photography. From our first interview, I knew that we shared similar tastes and styles and I loved her photos from her website.
If you are one of those people who care about every iteration of family member, don't bother looking for a photojournalist. You really want a typical wedding photographer. I gave her a list of shots that I wanted to have on the day of the wedding and I think she got them all. I did feel rushed by our Catering Sales Manager (Kate Giannetti at the Liberty Hotel) but they were both just doing their jobs to ensure that we maximized our time at the reception.
