venue, the Kemper Museum. When it came time to view our "demo" arrangements (which I didn't even realize was a thing), it was as if they had read my mind. The arrangement was elegant and dramatic, but still playful, and then seeing them in context at the Kemper was so rewarding -- the flowers were truly perfect in that space. My bouquet was also stunning... I wish I could have walked around with it more! Overall communication and execution was also excellent, as expected. Thank you, Rory and SDM, for creating a truly unique and beautiful aesthetic for my wedding!

Our flowers were magicial, we had Christmas trees throughout the reception, beautiful green chandeliers, and simple, yet statement making furniture. Taylor was incredible to work with throughout the process, especially when I was an airhead bride with 0 answers and terrible response time. I will always trust Dan with any floral needs, and recommend the Studio to anyone needing an event space, be it for a wedding or party. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make your event perfect for you. I can't say enough good things about Dan and Taylor especially. Thanks for making my day so amazing.

erything was fantastic! The quality of the flowers was exceptional, and we received so many complements on them! Everyone we worked with was easy to work with and went above and beyond to make our experience fantastic. Will definitely use them for any future events!

was wonderful and their menu selection was very diverse. Dan and his team absolutely nailed our ceremony and reception vision (floating candles from the ceiling, boho centerpieces and a gorgeous alter). However, we were very disappointed with our bouquets and flower crowns. The colors were different from what we originally discussed in our questionnaire, consultation and final contract (requested dark, moody jewel tones and received bright pinks and purples). The Queen Proteas in the bridal bouquet were delivered as completely closed and only opened ever so slightly after the ceremony and after the majority of pictures. There were a handful of flowers and greenery that were not only never discussed but also the wrong color palette compared to the images used in the consultation. The Ice White Proteas in the bridal party's bouquets never opened and were mocked as "fuzzy artichokes". It was strange to have such an incomplete floral order from a team that's so often referred to as the, "best in Kansas City". We did get to see a small reception centerpiece (very small, do not expect to see all centerpieces) preview a month ahead of time - but there was no preview of the bouquets or crowns. Had we had a chance to see the bouquets and crowns with the rest of the preview arrangement, we could have addressed these mistakes and had the right florals for our wedding day. These concerns have been addressed with Megan, Dan and their design team prior to this review. After 4 business days, Megan replied and said she was, "sorry to hear you did not love your bouquets and crowns" and advised, "this is something that rarely happens". While she did offer a $200 credit towards a future floral order from them, the response was, like the bouquets and crowns, disappointing. There was no acknowledgement or ownership in their mistake. While this did not keep us from getting married, it was an awful lot of money on the wrong bouquets and crowns.

When we first met with Dan I feel like he took our vision and ran with it. The florists that set up the space for us were so kind and talented. n I met with Dan for my first consult I truly felt that he understood my vision. I showed him examples of the dominant flowers I was considering and layouts of centerpieces and bouquets. He had some excellent suggestions for aisle decor and the altar that I wouldn't have even thought of. We even ended up making some last minute changes to the table cloths, but they were able to accommodate everything! Once the big day arrived, Dan Meiners staff brought the most beautiful floral arrangements I've ever seen! Truly, they exceeded my expectations. The ceremony and reception were decorated so perfectly - they really brought my vision to life, and then some! All our family and guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the flowers and decor were. Even my extremely picky, hard-to-please mother was absolutely speechless with the quality of the decor and floral. My bridal bouquet was by far the most stunning floral arrangement I've ever seen. The colors were spot on and floral choices went so well together. They are true artists at Dan Meiners. Choose Studio Dan Meiners as your wedding florist - you won't regret it. They have set the standard for wedding floral and are the best in Kansas City! THANK YOU!

of my wedding the flowers arrived and they were far from what I ordered (they were purple, I wanted ivory) and, perhaps most surprising, they really lacked the innovative style that Dan Meiners is known for. I do want to note, the bouquet did have the magnolia leaves and one of the specific flowers I requested. Of course the mens flowers were delivered elsewhere (they were also purple) and were wilting so bad they fell apart before the dinner was over. A couple days after the wedding, I emailed my contact at the florist and shared my disappointment. I didn’t get a response for several days so I emailed someone else and did get a note back, apologizing for the miscommunication regarding the colors for my flowers. They offered to refund my money or send me new flowers. The refund check arrived the same day as my wedding pictures —bless my photographer for taking pictures of the bouquet that I hated. I wish I would have had the presence of mind to tell her to ignore it and use her time on something I actually wanted to remember from that day.....because I definitely just want to forget the flowers. Sure, maybe I’ll laugh about this all someday. I’ll be sure to update my review when that happens.

dding was going to be flawless. We choose a wedding venue that was virtually a blank slate and Dan transformed it into my fairy tale. The did not just do the flowers. It was an entire design element that turned out more beautifully than I could have imagined. We had an afternoon ceremony and the flowers lasted days past that afternoon. I was also told that during the setup process, Dan himself came to the venue to make sure his vision was being properly executed. You get everything you pay for at Studio Dan Meiners. Who knew I was going to be so excited about flowers!? Choose Dan, I promise you will be awed.

He was able to make our winter wedding feel wintery, but not "Christmas-y." His ideas, guidance and suggestions were classy and elegant, but at the same time fresh and gorgeous! At the beginning he asked for our budget, and was respectful of it throughout the whole process, disclosing things that would move us out of our comfort zone. We were invited to see a preview of our table centerpieces, which served to reduce my anxiety. Also, being able to rent just about everything from the Studio was so convenient and provided options that I hadn't seen anywhere else. If you can stretch your budget, I recommend working with Dan and his team. They create absolutely beautiful things!

We originally heard Dan was the best for flowers, but ended up also renting linens, flower girl baskets, ringer bearer pillow, card box, table place card holders, and much more from them! We sat down with Joshua with pictures of our style, a list of flowers/greenery we loved, colors, etc. And you would not believe how well he delivered. I was OVER THE MOON with glee when I saw the flowers. Besides marrying my best friend, and being with all my friends and family, the FLOWERS were one of my favorite parts of the wedding. I could not stop staring at them. I am a horticulturist, so the flowers were very important to me. I did the rest of the flowers myself, but I am so happy I had Joshua do our bouquets and boutonnieres. You will not regret it.

Our reception space felt lush, beautiful, and full. The floral arrangement for myself and our wedding party were contemporary, unique, and fit in perfectly with the aesthetic of our wedding. t he is a joy to work with. From the first time we met with him, he was professional and came up with so many beautiful ideas for our weddings arrangements. He listened to us so well and came up with flowers and decorations that I never would’ve dreamed of. He truly took what we said and created a masterpiece out of our style and ideas. When I went to our final showing before the wedding, there were a few things I wanted him to tweak and he did it immediately with no complaining. He really puts his customers first and wants you to love everything that he does. In addition, he really listened to our budget and actually respected it unlike some other florists we met with. He got creative and reused flowers in different places at our ceremony and reception to save us money. I was beyond impressed with the way he handles himself and runs his business. In regards to the flowers and decorations at our wedding, they were stunning! He used all of my favorite flowers and mixed them with ones I never would’ve thought of like cherry blossoms. They were beautiful!! In addition, they took care of set up and tear down and made everything look perfect. On top of everything, all of the staff at Dan Meiners Studio were kind and responsiveness. I talked with a few different people throughout my planning process and everyone was awesome to work with. I highly recommend working with Dan Meiners Studios for your wedding or event!

During our personal meeting with Dan, we were able to collaborate on a design plan using my Pinterest boards and some inspiration drawn from various Boulevard beer bottles collected over the years. Dan beautifully integrated our bottles as vases and created a focal point for our centerpieces. On wedding day, I could not believe the quality of the flowers used...they were some of the most fabulous dahlias I'd ever seen. Some guests even asked if they could take the flowers home! Overall, working with Dan and team was a great experience. It is absolutely incredible what they can create, all while staying within an agreed upon budget. Thank you all for such a memorable event!

When meeting with Dan, he listened to what I wanted and preferred, and help me come up with the flowers and arrangements that were beyond what I could have imagined. Dan and his team's artistic abilities are unmatched, they take floral arrangements to a whole new level of gorgeous art. I am not just saying this because it was my wedding, the flowers and the arrangements were without a doubt the most beautiful wedding flowers I had ever seen. Not only did they create the bouquet of my dreams (actually it was far better than my dreams), but also they helped create simply stunning table centerpieces, bridal party bouquets/boutonnieres, AND a beautiful back drop for the altar. Dan and his team have such great vision and really do much more than flowers — they are more like wedding STYLISTS, thinking about how everything in your wedding will work together and making it better. We had a fall wedding and Dan wanted to incorporate some leaves and sticks on the guest book table. The day of our wedding, he got up before sunrise to find the perfect ones for our wedding. I wasn't very picky with my wedding and reception decor. I didn't quite know what colors I wanted, but I knew the feelings that I wanted my guests to have as they entered the ballroom, which is what I described to Dan. When I saw the wedding and reception decor the day of the wedding, my jaw dropped (literally). It was absolutely stunning, so detailed and beautiful and I fell in love with everything right away! Truthfully, after signing our contract with Dan, I never worried about decor. I worried about many other things with the wedding, but never decor and that was simply because I knew that no matter what, Dan was going to do a fabulous job with it. And I was right!

planning! However, I was very disappointed when I arrived at the church the day of my wedding to find all of our bouquets wilted and drooping. They didn't make it through the night which was disappointing since I wanted to be able to preserve mine. Then when I arrived at the reception, although my centerpieces were beautiful I had requested that they have some marsala colored flowers in them and there weren't any which was also disappointing.
