We were barely into the planning when we spoke to her on the phone about our Tuscan-style wedding, and everything just clicked. She even surprised us with a home olive tree when we first met at our home — and at that point, we knew she was going to be the perfect person to plan and execute our vision. My partner and I have type-A personalities who have bouts trying to relinquish control to each other, so it was refreshing to hand the reins over to someone who earned our trust immediately. When you meet Liza, the first thing you think of is “wow, this lady got style!” We quickly learned that not only did she has a great sense of style, but she was polished, organized, creative, and didn’t skip a beat on anything — we are not over-exaggerating about that at all. She literally had everything covered. Fast forward to the wedding. The day was action packed and at times stressful, but every time we saw Liza, we felt better. What really impressed us that day was how calm and collected she was, and that feeling transcended to us and the rest of the wedding party. She made sure we had time to pull away from the wedding, take a step back, and enjoy the moment. Looking back at that exact point in time still makes us emotional. We looked at every single detail — from the florals, to the stationary, to the tables and chairs, to the food, and the overall vibe — and it was all Liza and her team who made it happen. We hired Studio DBI for the month of planning for our wedding and florals. Liza and her team did an amazing job. I was planning from overseas and Liza was so easy to work with and made sure everything got done when needed. I can't express enough thanks to her for really making the month of the wedding go seamlessly and how beautiful the flowers were. Not only were the bouquets unique but the flowers used were very high quality. I still can't get over the size of the garden roses. She has a very special artistic talent that I don't think many planners or designers have. I would highly recommend her!

Liza is the absolute best and everything you could want in a planner. She is so easy to get along with, so organized, and seems to somehow be always available. We had a tricky wedding in that it was a fusion of arabic and american culture, and that we were planning it from NYC with the wedding being in DC. Liza made it so easy to bridge the distance, and thought of all aspects of the multicultural wedding and addressed them. Our DJ quit a couple of weeks before the wedding, and she brought someone in as a replacement who was just perfect-- knew our arabic music, was a great MC, and perfectly in our budget. She also did our flowers, and I was blown away by how my very vague descriptions "flowy, vine-y" and changing my color palette a couple of times she still managed to arrange the most breathtaking flowers that were exactly what I imagined and more. I can't speak highly enough of Liza. If you need a wedding planner, RUN to her.

Liza is so easy to work with and delivered beyond what I could imagine. I called her not knowing anything about what I wanted or what my budget was, and she helped me put together a beautiful event. So many guests ended up taking flowers home because they were so beautiful Liza and her team are simply amazing. I would highly recommend!

One word: AMAZING! Actually, one word is not enough to describe the work that Studio DBI did for our wedding. The event design was simply stunning - gorgeous arrangements with so much style and at the same time so unique that it was even more beautiful than I could ever imagine! Liza is amazing to work with, she understood right away the look and feel of our wedding and she worked within our budget to create magnificent bouquets, centerpieces, bouts and chuppah. Liza at Studio DBI was an absolute dream to work with. We hit it off right away and she always listened carefully to what I was looking for, my likes and dislikes, preferences, etc. She was so easy to accommodate meeting times and locations. Liza was amazing in every way. My mom had a medical issue and was in the hospital for 4 days a month before the wedding, which was exactly the same time vendors were checking in to confirm details and finalize plans for the wedding - when I needed to completely check out of all things wedding related and spend time at home with my family, Liza jumped in and handled so much of the communication with the vendors, which was so crucial in helping me maintain my sanity during a time of high stress. Our wedding was beautiful and went off without a hitch, and many of our guests commented on what a calm and relaxed bride I was - and I have no doubt that was all thanks to Liza!
