Amy was nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning, she was so easy to work with, and answered all of my never ending questions. From the "sneak peak" of our wedding photos, I know that the rest are going to be absolutely gorgeous. I have looked at the 5 sneak peak photos about a hundred times, just in awe of how beautiful and creative they are. I know we are going to have a hard time choosing between photos when we do get to see the rest. Besides the talent that Amy has with photography, she also has great people skills. She was able to work with all kinds of personalities that came her way, from overbearing family to little kids that won't cooperate for a photo, she new exactly how to handle it all. Amy is very personable and is the kind of person who can get along with everyone. As she was taking our photos, I felt like we knew her forever, and she made us so comfortable throughout the day while she was busy capturing our wedding. I loved having Amy as photographer so much that I will definitely be contacting her for any other photos that we want to have done in the future. I would recommend Amy to everyone as she does a fabulous job, and you can tell that she truly loves her work. Thank you SO much Amy.

Amy is a phenomenal photographer and made us all feel at ease throughout the whole photo taking process. Our engagement photos turned out nothing short of amazing - we’ve received so many compliments from everyone who has seen them! From the sneak peaks of our wedding photos I think it’s also safe to say that they will be nothing short of amazing! Amy of Studio North does a great job and I will forever recommend her to anyone looking to get pictures done.

Amy from Studio North Photography went above and beyond to make our engagement and wedding sessions fun, engaging, and effortless. Our families raved how personable Amy was and her willingness to help and offer suggestions was noticed by many. Amy made our wedding day feel as though she was one of our friends capturing the special moments.

We both got a good vibe from Amy when we were searching for a Photographer so we decided to trust her with our wedding day photos that Spring.... Well we were very disappointed the months leading up to the wedding. Her communication was terrible, It would take her weeks to email back about something so simple, she always had excuses to why it took so long. The day of the wedding she showed up over an hour late. She was very friendly, professional and kept us on track the day of the wedding, there were a few awkward poses but we trusted her so we went with it. (unfortunately the photos did end up looking cheesy and awkward). We were told we would be getting our photos in about 6 weeks, it ended up being 10 weeks and again I tried contacting her by phone and email and it took her over a week to get back to me to say they were almost done. At this point we were very nervous and excited to see our photos, praying they were great for how long it took.... Beyond upset!.... 90% of our photos were blurry. Every single outdoor photo was blurry and overexposed. We have a few good shots during the indoor portion of our wedding. Several shots that are normal/common photos didn't get taken, and she really didn't take many pictures of just us as a couple which I wish I would have realized on our wedding day but it's such a hectic day and we trusted her to get the right shots and it didn't happen. I am so upset and frustrated... Very disappointing.

Amy was absolutely amazing! She made us feel comfortable and not forced. It was a cold rainy day in June at an outdoor venue and you can hardly even tell when you look at our pictures. She got to know us and played into our quirkiness, which I loved! 10/10 would recommend!

My husband and I got married last June at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, MN. It was an absolutely beautiful setting with picture perfect scenery at most every location on the property. The service we received the day of the wedding was great - our photographer was on time, patient, calm, collected and kept us on task. Although we felt there were a bit too many of the same pose and that some of the poses were a bit cheesy, we we really looking forward to receiving our pictures. After six weeks of waiting (we were told we would receive our DVD within three weeks) I contacted Studio North to see if there was a problem. We were told the DVD was in the mail, however we did not receive it for another two weeks. Upon reviewing our photos, we were simply disappointed. More than 80% of our photos were blurry - very blurry, with the focus on the trees rather than the people in many instances - including the photo of our first kiss. The photos did not appear to be cropped or retouched. A few of the photos were also given to us in black and white, but beyond that, it does not appear that any edits were made. We also seemed to receive every single shot that was taken, so have had to weed through numerous photos of the exact same shot to try to find the diamonds in the rough. We will always remember the beauty of the day even if we did not end up with the photos of our dreams. In the end, we ended up with a few nice shots, they are just not the quality that one would expect when paying a couple of thousand of dollars.
