When we first met with Marissa, it was like catching up with an old friend. She showed so much interest in who we are as people and shared stories with us that made us feel connected from the start. She took the time to ask us lots of questions to make sure she had a solid understanding of what we wanted. The passion she has for her work and incredible knowledge she shared with us made it easy to trust her with bringing our vision to life. She promised us she would "make it beautiful," and while we were fully confident in that promise, we were still blown away by how she more than delivered on that promise. It was better than we could have ever imagined ourselves. Every single bouquet and table centerpiece was wonderfully unique and worked together to beautifully decorate the space. Our main color was lavender, and not only did Marissa find the perfect purple rose to included in every arrangement, she also made clever use of basil, which has purple flowers. The basil made each bouquet smell incredible, and now, smelling basil immediately transports us back to our incredible day. Marissa was also kind enough to surprise us with free boutonnieres and small bouquets for our parents! The true piece de resistance, however, was the mantlepiece in our venue we asked Marissa to decorate. She created a STUNNING, lush, romantic arrangement of flowers and candles both on the mantelpiece and hearth. We were married in front of the fireplace and used it as a backdrop for family and bridal portraits, and we couldn't get over how perfect and gorgeous the arrangement was. Overall, Marissa totally blew us away with all of the gorgeous details and ambiance she created with her beautiful floral arrangements. She WILL make your day beautiful!

Marissa was the perfect choice for our wedding on October 9, 2021. I worked with her over the phone and via email to create a plan for our floral arch, bride and bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres, accent pieces, and table centerpieces - she listened to all my requests and perfectly executed them. The floral arch was a talking point from our guests and truly elevated our ceremony backdrop. I highly recommend her for any event.

Marissa was very wonderful to work with. She is accommodating and does all she can to make sure you have what you want. I gave her drawings and samples of my vision for my wedding and the floral arrangements came out just as I imagined if not better.

I have worked with Marissa from Studio Posy for the past 5 years now and I have never been disappointed. Not only is she a great vendor to work alongside but her creativity, style, and amazing personality is out of the this world! She cares 100%+ about her clients and their wedding days. My wife decided to work with Studio Posy to design our floral arrangements from boutonnieres to the centerpieces for our reception. My wife showed me pictures of the type of floral arrangements she envisioned and all I can say is Studio Posy was on point about everything! My wife has nothing but good things to say about Studio Posy, from how they handled the initial consultation and down to the very last few minor adjustments to her bouquet. My wife mentioned Studio Posy was excited to use colors in their arrangements since most brides ask for all white. The colors in the floral arrangements were amazing and the quality of the flowers themselves were amazing. Compared to the other quotes we received from other florists, Studio Posy was very reasonable especially in how responsive they were to creating the arrangements you envisioned that is within your budget. I was completely ignored by Studio Posy. I walked into the studio to get a quote almost 9 months ago ahead of my wedding. The owner wrote down my wedding date and we were going to set up the next meeting to talk about detail. I tried to contact her several times to set up the follow up meeting. She kept postponing the meeting and never contacted me back after my last message. My wedding is now in less than 3 weeks and I have no trust with her business that she will be able to do my wedding flowers. I was so concerned and had to call other place and decided to DIY my flowers. I read all the good reviews and I am just really surprised that she totally ignored me and my husband. I am totally disappointed with this business. Not professional.

I hardly have the words to describe how perfect and extraordinary our flowers from Marissa at Studio Posy were. They absolutely made our wedding reception!!! Marissa went above and beyond in every way imaginable, including when I completely changed my vision to something much more elaborate than expected--and still remained completely respectful of our budget. She took my vision and turned it into the most beautiful outcome I could have ever dreamed of--beautiful lush gradients of peaches and pinks, whites, and creams and the most wonderful variety of flowers. I STRONGLY recommend Studio Posy!!! The flowers were one of my favorite parts of our wedding, and I will never forget how beautiful they were. Thank you SO MUCH, Studio Posy!!!

We were absolutely thrilled with the beautiful blooms created by Marissa for my daughter's wedding! I cannot say enough about this woman and her team. Extremely professional, very responsive, she's a creative with real style. I would work with Studio Posy again and again. Marissa welcomed us into her studio, listened to our vision of what the day would look like, and offered thoughtful and creative suggestions. When the day came and I saw her work in the setting at the Chrysler Museum, it was so apparent that she carefully listened to what we had in mind, then added magic with her artistic ability and creative eye. Marissa was simply wonderful. From the bridal bouquets, which were layered with the most carefully chosen flowers, to the urns and table centerpieces, to the boutonnieres, to the flower girl crowns, (more on them below) --- each arrangement was a little gem, and together they created such a lovely, romantic, and fresh display. I had shown her a picture of what I had planned to wear on the evening, and she thoughtfully created a very special corsage finished with a gorgeous velvet ribbon which coordinated with my outfit. An unexpected little detail which made me feel so cared for and beautiful. When we realized the day of the wedding, (!!!) that we had forgotten to order something for two flower girls, Marissa blew us away by not only providing pretty little baskets filled with petals, but flower crowns to match the rest of the arrangements- she truly went above and beyond, and was a complete professional, taking our mistake in stride, and making those two little girls very happy! I truly cannot recommend Marissa and Studio Posy more highly- I only wish that I had taken photographs of each table, because I would like to relive the beauty of the day over and over! Hopefully the professional photographer took lots of pics of the flowers!

Marissa went above and beyond in every aspect! She was extremely easy to communicate with, was patient when I continued to add ideas after the initial contract, and she took my vision (even when I couldn’t quite put it into words) and created the most beautiful wedding and reception-beyond anything I could’ve ever imagined. I highly recommend Studio Posy!

Studio Posy did an excellent job providing florals for my daughter's wedding. Marissa is wonderful to work with and I appreciate her extra efforts to help create a beautiful event. She provided arrangements for the outdoor ceremony site, the outdoor landscaping at the Obici House, the cocktail hour inside the historic mansion, all table garlands and arrangements for the tent reception and all florals for the wedding party. Her products were even more beautiful than we imagined. I would recommend Studio Posy for all your floral needs and I look forward to working with Marissa again.

Marissa's work was nothing short of perfection. She made our venue look better than the pictures you see in the catalogs and on Pinterest. She did a fantastic job capturing our colors and did so much more than what I asked or expected. Our wedding was cut short due to hurricane Matthew and even with the rain and flooding starting before the setup began she arrived early to make sure we would have our flowers on our special day. Without dedicated and hard working vendors like Marissa, our night would not have been the same.

Marissa at Studio Posy did an absolutely fabulous job designing & delivering our floral arrangements! I was looking for a rustic, natural style, and her designs were perfect! She included a variety of decorative plants (such as eucalyptus, dusty miller, and succulents) and tied everything together beautifully! From my bouquet to the flower girl's crown to the arch display and table arrangements, even including flowers for the cake, everything was exquisite and lovely! I would highly recommend Studio Posy to make your big day perfect!

I can't even name all of the flowers in our bouquets and at the reception but they were BEAUTIFUL! We told Marissa the colors and what the linens were going to look like and she went to town! She was so wonderful to work with! I'll definitely be keeping in touch for mother's days and other smaller events!

Overall, our experience with Marissa and Studio Posey was great! We ended up using a professional florist for the bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages, all of which looked great. My mom loved being able to carry her corsage, which was Marissa's suggestion. As amateurs when it came to weddings, we would have never thought of that! People complimented my bouquet all night and the bridesmaid's bouquets were the perfect accent to their red dresses. Our only qualm with Marissa was when we changed our needs. When we met with her originally, we were looking for a florist to not only do our bouquets, but also to do the centerpieces. Shortly after, a family member offered to do them as a wedding gift. When I told Marissa, I felt like she was upset with us. She agreed to do the bouquets, but it was obvious that she was not happy. It did not affect her service at all, but it was definitely something. I would definitely recommend her and the rest of Studio Posey! Their overall product was a beautfiul detail in our wedding.

We had our wedding at Norfolk Botanical Gardens so we knew we wanted the florist to add to the wedding, but not overwhelm it with over the top flowers. We also had a very unique wedding with several colors and lively themes. Therefore it was no easy feat to being our florist and no one could have done it better than Marissa with Studio Posey. After only a few minutes meeting her, she said this is what I think we can do….and the ideas and options never stopped. Both my husband and I had no idea what to do and were lost, but had a general vision. She took our vision and made it something magical. She was so generous by providing supplies she had to help with the costs and also accepting changes up to the end to make sure our special day went off without a hitch. Part of our day of decoration consisted of moving large Mum plants from the ceremony site to the cocktail hour site and Marissa made it the transition seamlessly. To this day, we continue to get compliments on the overall look/theme of our wedding and that is all thanks to Marissa.

I went with an all yellow orchid theme for my wedding and Marissa suggested three different types to use and they turned out amazing. Marissa and her mom were so delightful and easy to work with, I would highly recommend them for any occasion but especially for your wedding. My flowers were so beautiful and everybody raved about them. When I made a few suggestions about the flowers they were very accommodating. Even when I needed to add extra flowers at the very last minute they were so nice and helpful and had no problem making it work for me. I cannot thank them enough.

First of all, Marissa is so pleasant to work with. Truly friendly on the phone, and patient with my lack of internet skills! I was planning long distance so had to use pinterest to get the photos to her!! She was able to make the most gorgeous bouquet for myself as well as the other wedding flowers. She was also willing to be creative with me so that I could stay within a small budget. I would use her again and/or recommend her without a second's hesitation!
