Kristy and Max of Studio Six Photography are some of the nicest and talented people in the wedding world. Together they provide the prefect mix of posed and candid shots. From the very beginning reading other Knot reviews we knew we had found our photographers. I was impressed with the warm vibe meeting in their home studio surrounded by their family pictures. As an avid photographer myself I had many questions for Kristy which she kindly answered. For me photography was the most important aspect of the wedding and our trust was earned. I had a detailed list of shots which Kristy and Max studied to ensure all special moments were captured. On wedding day they were early and eager to start the process. Kristy effortlessly found the best lighting and angles to create beautiful photos. She was organized and comfortable directing our loved ones. I made some special request shots which were gladly added! Max could be found at varying angles from low to high. He also made me tea. During the whole process my voice was heard and respected. We were so at ease and that lovely beauty was translated to our photos. There is a true love and passion between Kristy and Max which extends into thier photography. We could not be happier! I had a very small and intimate wedding and there were a few things I felt were very important on my wedding day. Obviously getting married to my soulmate and having my family there was most important, but after all of the planning and the stress, what is it that you are left with? PICTURES! I honeslty loved having Kristy and Max as our photographers. They are so creative and pay so much attention to detail. I really appreciate the fact that Kristy and Max asked for my input and wanted to make sure I had all the pictures I desired. My wedding was unforgettable and perfect! It was just as I imagined and I'm glad that my pictures are now memories to remind me of the day I married my best friend.

Kristy and Her Husband Max were amazing to work with. From the very beginning Kristy demonstrated a great knowledge for the wedding planning process and how photography fits into it. I had no idea what I was doing when it came to planning actual photography time for our wedding. Kristy sat down with me and not only helped me create a schedule for optimum photo coverage but assisted in how the day would flow. I would have been lost without her insight. She was very creative in how she worked with the lighting at our wedding and was quick to give me a sneak peak. I LOVE LOVE LOVE our photos. Nothing is forced. We all (family, friends, bridal party) look at ease in every picture. I really appreciated that Kristy made sure to get the timeless important pictures of me and my mom, grand-parents and such. I know that these will become treasures in the years to come. I highly recommend Kristy for your wedding. She blends in well and EXTREMELY professional. She understands that your wedding is not about posing for photos but enjoying candid moments. I came to her with some posing suggestions and she worked with my playful ideas as well as keeping the focus on what the day was about. I hope that you use Kristy for wedding, no one else will make you feel as comfortable and taken care of as her.

From the first interaction with Kristy my now husband (! =) ) and I knew we had found the photographer for us. We of course had looked at her amazing photos on her website but meeting with her sealed the deal. Kristy makes you feel so comfortable, like you're meeting with a friend. She allowed us to make changes to the standard packages she offers so everything was perfectly tailored to us. An engagement session was included in our package and it was a great way to get to know Kristy and how she works. I would absolutely suggest this before the wedding shoot. This was also a great way to get to know Kristy as a person. By the end of that shoot my husband and I knew we had not only picked the perfect photographer but we had made a new friend as well. One of the best parts about the whole experience with Kristy is how quickly she gets a "sneak peek" up. You can tell how much she loves what she does because it's up by the next day! The wedding day was great. Kristy was 9 months pregnant on our wedding day so she was kind enough to get us a 3rd photographer (not originally included in the package) in case anything were to happen. (She of course let us know about this as soon as she could) Everyone was on time and professional. It was really important to my husband and I that we get great photos with out being swept away from our guests for hours. Kristy took us aside for maybe 20 min. post ceremony and maybe another 10 min. later once the light was better. We could not be happier with the shots that she and her team we able to achieve! And our sneak peek was up Sunday before we left on our honeymoon! My husband and I now live down in the central coast but we would still choose Kristy for any other special occasions that might be upcoming! =)

I was so pleased with Studio Six! Kristy and Max did an excellent job! They were great at the wedding - so helpful in making sure to capture the story of our special day! We LOVE the pictures. In fact, we have continued to use their services as our family grows. Our new baby arrived this last July, and Kristy and Max were quick to come and snap some beautiful newborn pictures. You won't go wrong picking Studio Six as your wedding photographers!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this amazing team, Kristy and Max. They are an amazing team with Kristy doing most of the composed shots and Max capturing all the candid moments of the night. They are so creative, respectful, kind, and did I say TALENTED!!!! Their work ranges from fancy and huge weddings with hundreds of people to quaint DIY weddings with a group of 40 people (like mine) and they are able to capture the details beautifully in both cases. Their job is to make you look beautiful and capture the day in the most vibrant colors, making the memories last and awe-inspiring all those who attended. They exceeded my expectations and I would recommend them to everyone. I get so many comments about how beautiful my wedding was because of Kristy and Max's work and the pictures have allowed me to relive the day over and over again. Aside from their amazing talent, Kristy and Max are just amazing people to work with. Their love for each other glows and they work so well together. They are completely respectful of your space and time while also making sure they get all the perfect "shots" that are memorable. They also pitched in where neccessary on the day of the wedding to make all the details come together. I have the perfect blend of candid and composed memories and I am 150% happy with the results. I talked to so many people who had bad wedding photograhpers and it is really unfortunate that they didn't have the same experience as I did with Kristy and Max. The photographer is SO important and Studio Six is up to the task. I can't recommend them enough for any type of wedding. They totally get down to the vision of the wedding and work so hard. I would consider Kristy and Max my good friends now and can't wait to hang out with them outside the context of a photo shoot. :)
