Studio Soo was exactly what we were looking for our wedding photography needs.
From our engagement session that helped us get comfortable with the camera to the actual wedding day...
. It was everything we wanted and more.
Soo and his staff were very communicative and approachable. Soo asked plenty of questions that helped us tailor our needs and overall process smooth.
Our friends and family loved how calm and patient Soo and Jay were on our wedding day. We actually had more time than we expected and got more photos in than we accounted for.
We love our photos and look forward to seeing them over and over again in years to come.

sion. From our initial consultation through to receiving the final images, our experience with Studio Soo was nothing short of exceptional.
The team at Studio Soo demonstrated a profound commitment to their craft, evident in their meticulous attention to detail and their ability to create a relaxed yet professional shooting environment. Their approach not only alleviated my initial apprehensions but also enhanced our overall experience.
One of my specific concerns was how my recent bout with Bellโs palsy might affect my appearance in the photos. The condition, which can affect facial symmetry, had left me quite anxious about how I would look in my wedding photos. However, the photographers at Studio Soo were incredibly supportive and skilled in their approach. They employed various techniques to ensure that every shot was both aesthetically pleasing and true to life. Their sensitivity and understanding transformed what could have been a point of insecurity into a testament to their expertise.
Moreover, the guidance provided by Studio Soo during the photo shoots was particularly invaluable. As it was our first time being professionally photographed, their clear directions and comforting demeanor helped us pose naturally and with ease. The end results were not just photographs, but true works of art that reflected our joy and the beauty of our special day.
The photos we received from Studio Soo are not only breathtaking but they are also a timeless reminder of our wedding day that we will cherish forever. The quality of their work and the dedication of their team have left a lasting impression on us.
I wholeheartedly endorse Studio Soo to any couple seeking a photography studio that goes above and beyond to ensure their wedding day is captured with the utmost beauty and professionalism. Their ability to create a supportive atmosphere and produce stunning visual narratives is truly remarkable.

notch! What we love the most during our photoshoot was Soo and his team made us feel very comfortable, and relaxing. Soo and his team took their time with us and it was not rushed at all! It was the best experience to remember! I definitely recommend Studio Soo for any photoshoot, and I would 100% be back to Studio Soo for future photos!!! :) Thank you Studio Soo!

erson myself and generally I am able to point out what I don't like rather than ask for what I do like when it comes to photos/ videos (not an ideal skill set). Soo and his team were so supportive in taking our vision and making it into something beautiful. They met with us multiple times to ensure they had everything right and ready for our event. The teams' training is really incredible and I had a great range of different photos from the traditional posed family photos, walking down the aisle, my husband lifting me in the air on the dance floor, veil blowing in the wind, candid laughing photos and elegant photos of the small details that represented us. Soo sends an extremely detailed form prior to your event, which helped me think about photos op and groups that I might have otherwise missed. Soo's products (metal prints, albums, playbook, etc.) are also extremely high quality. The glossy metal prints are my absolute favorite and I get tons of compliments on the ones hanging in our living room now. We also purchased parent albums as a gift and both sets of parents cried upon receiving them. They were so well done and such a high quality product. They designed the album then I reviewed page by page to make sure the album really showcased the elements we felt were most important. I never felt rushed while they thoughtfully considered all my questions and feedback and made modification and suggestions. I HIGHLY recommend working with Studio Soo!

pressed at the amount of patience shown and guidance provided throughout the long hours of the shoot. Even after the shoot, Studio Soo continues to impress by showing the same patience throughout the process of choosing and editing photos. Not only does Studio Soo show high level of professionalism but also understands how important and what kind of meaning these sessions hold for their clients. We are very thankful for the great experience and photos!

ncepts - elegant, yet simple to keep the focus on the couple. Soo and his team are a pleasure to work with, and went generously beyond what we expected. Soo knows all the poses and angles that will make you looking your best. Thank you Studio Soo! We can't wait to be back for Studio Soo Chicago Baby if we are so blessed to have kids.
As a background, we were initially thinking to go to Korea where pre-wedding photo shoots are popular, but with the COVID quarantine over there, that wasn't going to happen. We were willing to travel to places in the US like LA and NYC that try to emulate the Korean style, but didn't find one that we really liked. We were so surprised to find out about Studio Soo right in our city of Chicago!
I highly recommend this vendor. They are extremely professional and the finishing touches they add at the end is top notch! You cannot find this level of expertise anywhere else. I...

tos, and videos are beyond gorgeous and wowed all of our guests! They provided a tremendous amount of professional advice, from the location of the shooting, wedding timeline to clothing, makeup, and body posters (anything you ever need, they have a tip for you!). They are extremely flexible, thoughtful, detail focus, and accommodated ALL of our needs. The turnaround for all the photos and videos are quick. We couldn't be happier that we found Studio Soo to cover our big day. Now having Soo and Kay as our close friends, we know that we are forever in good hands!

lucky to find Studio Soo. Soohyun was very responsive and had many great ideas for our big day. We were able to use the beautiful studio for our ceremony and Studio Soo live streamed the entire ceremony for our guests. Everything came together nicely with Studio Soo's team- the lighting, the music, the setup. We purchased a wedding videography package as well. Soohyun and Kay captured amazing shots and created a beautiful video that displayed our story perfectly. The Studio Soo team is incredibly talented! Studio Soo curated a memorable wedding day and wedding video for us that we can't wait to share with friends and family.

ou want something in between the Eastern type and the West type, casual but still has the professional touch. Soo Studio would be exactly what you are looking for in this situation. They are take what you want very seriously. The studio itself is large and beautiful. Lighting is meticulous. The outdoor shootings are well edited and can be used for movies. The prints that they provide in different media format also incredible.
If it was not for COVID, I would definitely consider having them as my wedding photographer yet again.

wanted and had the experience to capture it and I found them at Studio Soo. Beyond that, my fiance and I really had no idea what specific services we wanted and what we could get within our budget. The couple at Studio Soo greeted us warmly and helped us figure out what worked for us with a lot of patience. We were impressed with the variety of services and memorabilia (albums, canvas prints, etc.) they offered. It took us a long time to choose but they were extremely helpful in answering all of our questions. We also appreciate the flexibility they extended to our schedules, having to reschedule meetings and our engagement photo session.
In the end, we couldn't have been happier with our wedding and how well it was captured. They made sure to capture everything we asked for and went well beyond that. Despite not having been to our ceremony location before, they managed to get perfect backdrops for everything and find a couple of spots even we didn't know about! We had a difficult time sorting through them to make choices for our wedding album and printed photos. We are truly happy with the quality of the photos and the keepsakes and how they customized to help us meet our budget.
I would highly recommend them to anyone including family and friends.

My wife and I met Soo at a wedding conference before our wedding. We were having difficulty trying to find a photographer at the time. Our wedding was around two months away and we...
still had not found someone. During a wedding conference we were attending, we were immediately drawn to Soo's photos and presentation. We spoke with him and his enthusiasm for photography was very evident. The pictures and videos showed not only his skill but his passion. My wife and I immediately decided we found our photographer. We had several wedding events prior to the day of the Wedding. My wife is Indian American and we were having a traditional Hindu Ceremony with accompanying events. Soo's team, throughout all our events, were very professional and accommodating. Our wedding was a very overwhelming experience, but throughout it all, Soo and his team were consistently available for us. They helped with getting families, friends and kids in photos. Soo and his team helped keep our schedule timely, and when we had (inevitable) delays, they were able to coordinate flexibly
and effectively to get amazing pictures and videos . Whenever we needed them, both before and during events, they were available for us. After the wedding, we were excited to see the pictures and they were amazing! The colors, angles, and lighting were spot on. There are photos which captured endearing moments with our loved ones and friends. We have enjoyed watching our videos and browsing through the pictures; each time is like reliving the wedding again. My wife and I are hoping to start our family soon, and even though we haven't prepared/know much about the process yet, we have already agreed that we will be going to Studio Soo for all of our future family/baby pictures!
Studio Soo did our engagement photos and I am blown away with how beautiful they turned out. He is so talented at capturing such stunning images of two very awkward people. I will ...
definitely hire him again for future photography needs and would recommend him to anyone looking for quality photos.

looking to travel to Korea for our engagement photos, but we decided to get our photos taken here in Chicago instead after looking at some samples from this studio. The photographer and his crew is keen on detail and strives to produce photos tailored to the style you desire. They even allowed us another photo session because my wife was not satisfied with how she looked in photos due to the makeup she received from one of the local salons. We will definitely do another photo shoot with this group when we have kids. You can't go wrong with choosing Studio Soo!

grapher. He made us feel very beautiful and captured the important events in our life in a spectacular way: EX. we loved how he kindly instructed us how to pose, the photobooth came with a guestbook with decorated sticker tapes, all the photo editings were beautifully done, he made our first look event very emotional, etc. We were very happy with the services, and we loved every part of the experience. So for the future wedding couples out there, it is worthy to invest and trust in Studio Soo ;)

ortable atmosphere all the time, so my husband and I were able to pose and smile as we normally do. We took our engagement picture at Sooโs studio, it was clean and very neat; also, they had various photo props. (Saehee always brought something I love.)
If they didnโt help us, our wedding album would be full of extreme awkward faces. On the wedding day, they captured even small but important details and scenes. I am thankful that I can memorize and look back the best day of my life via their work. Strongly recommend to work with Studio Soo! I would definitely come back for my newborn baby :-)
