With the last name Veil I like to say that I was born to work in weddings :) I love what we do at Studio Veil and I'm blessed to be surrounded by amazing and talented people who love weddings as much as I do. I love my family; Allie & I married in 2010 and we welcomed Savannah Joy into our family Jan 2017 and I love being a dad! I'm passionate about my faith and am involved in a couple of our church's ministries as well as Spoke Folk (a bicycle, musical, relational ministry geared towards HS students). I also love wood-working, guitar, watching/playing sports, bowling, and ice cream.

We decided about 3 weeks before our wedding that we wanted to have a photobooth after really enjoying the experience with one at another friend's wedding. We looked on The Knot and went with Studio Veil for their high reviews and seeing their fun photo samples online! Before our wedding we had 1 consultation call with Ryan Veil and he answered all of our questions and explained the options for us super clearly. Our guests had a fantastic time and our attendant was excellent, friendly, and kept the photos/people moving and flowing. She even brought props!! Which we ended up not selecting initially as we weren't planning on bringing our own, so it was a super fun surprise and something our guests absolutely loved! It made for such a memorable night and the photobooth was easy to rent with so many fun options for prints and sharing digitally!

We had Studio Veil for our DJ and Photography and had the best experience!!. Adam and Sarah were flexible to the timeline and took lots of variety of shots. We had a great time and made our kids laugh. John was awesome. He read the room and adapted the playlist with requested songs easily. He was set up way prior to the ceremony starting and was ready in case the rain caused us to move inside. All three were wonderful to work with and really made our day even better. They were very respectful with suggestions and on the spot changes and definitely knew what they were doing! We would hire them again and again!

Honestly, I wish there were more stars to award! We hired Studio Veil for both photography and for DJ services and let me tell you the whole process from beginning to end was IMMACULATE! Starting with communication from the inquiry up until the after the wedding, there was never a time in which I reached out that I did not receive an almost immediate response. The team at studio veil asked me questions that I had not even thought of to ensure our day was perfect showing just how knowledgeable they are. The photographers Sarah and Ashley, I don't know if Studio Veil lets you request photographers but if they do; request these two! They arrived early, put their things down and got right to work taking pictures of the space and rings with our suit jackets. When it came to couple photos, my husband and I were worried because we are not photogenic people to begin with. With Sarah and Ashley all those worries melted away. They were kind, courteous and a joy to have at our wedding. We haven't seen the pictures yet. (Writing this review 8 days post-wedding) so thats to be expected but there is not a doubt in my mind that they will be wonderful, and that is because of the time, attention and care both Sarah and Ashley took when photographing our wedding. Next is the DJ, Sandy. Another recommended request should you choose Studio Veil. Sandy arrived and immediately began to set up. When the ceremony was over she eased into the dinner music at the perfect volume for conversation. She followed our time-line and really kept the first part of the evening going. Her attention to detail really played a key role. Even going as far to check with me to ensure certain announcements were still needed based on what she was seeing at the reception. She understood the vibe and never soured it once, she was a huge hit and really made the evening memorable for our guests. Overall the professionalism, attention to detail, communication, thoughtfulness, and convenience, really set Studio Veil apart from any other service. Having Studio Veil provide these services for our wedding really made finding the DJ and the photographers the easiest part of planning our wedding. Thank you so much Studio Veil, Sarah, Ashley and Sandy for making this a wedding no one will ever forget.

We hired Studio Veil for both our DJ and Photographers for our July 2023 wedding. It was great to have these 2 services combined. For photography, I loved that they automatically had 2 photographers assigned for the wedding day, and we really enjoyed working with both Erin and Jake. We got to work with Erin for our engagement photos in the fall and it was nice to have that introduction with her before the wedding day. We really liked Erin's artistic and nature aesthetic for that session. On the wedding day, both Erin and Jake had a calming presence, were fun to work with and were extremely efficient with getting the group pictures that we wanted. Thanks Erin and Jake!

Studio Veil made the planning process easier by having a lot of the vendors we needed together, and did a really great job throughout the process! We had a lot of fun with our photographers during both the engagement shoot and the wedding day. Everything about the Studio Veil photo experience was wonderful. Ryan made the process easy and comfortable from the beginning and we felt confident and relaxed when it came to photos both for our engagement and wedding. The photographers were very professional, they had a lot of really good ideas for different types of pictures. They were very attentive to us making sure they captured all the pictures we wanted. I highly recommend Studio Veil. We hired them for photo, video and DJ on the day of our wedding and they made the day run so smoothly. Sarah and Conner were our photographers. They did an exceptional job capturing those special moments on our big day. We are thrilled with the number of amazing photos we received. Our DJ was Steven. I’ve been to weddings where the DJ has no idea how to read the crowd and nobody ends up dancing — that was NOT the case here. He did such a good job reading the room and keeping the party going all night. The owner, Ryan, went out of his way to ensure that our video/sound was perfect for our ceremony. We had a very unique scenario where our officiant was live streamed to our event. Without Ryan and the crew at Studio Veil, this would not have been possible. I am so happy we went with Studio Veil for all of our services and HIGHLY recommend them to any future couples.

Studio Veil was INCREDIBLE to work with! First of all, they give you a questionnaire, which gave me the opportunity to really spell out all of my photo requests so that I could just enjoy everything the day of my wedding. The photographers had my lists printed and were sure to capture EVERYTHING. Jake was our photographer for the engagement photo shoot and the wedding day. We asked a lot from Jake because we took him out on a yacht we had rented for the engagement photos, and he just has an eye for getting the best shot! He really looks for great back drops and is a pro with doing whatever it takes to get the best pictures. He is a nice guy and fun to work with. Then we had a second photographer, Ashley, and Jeff (the videographer) join Jake on our wedding day and the three of them were so professional. They really captured everything on our special day - the decorations, candids of guests, the wedding dress, everyone getting ready, the ceremony & reception space, etc. We ended up with hundreds and hundreds of beautiful photos so that we can re-live the day for the rest of our lives! We so appreciated the team's communication on the wedding day - when they needed more couples photos, they were sure to grab us and bring us to a beautiful back drop. I trusted the three of them completely. Even Holly, Katie, and Ryan were great at communicating via email and phone call whenever I needed them. Ashley was even sure to capture close ups of my wedding dress and details - even got super artistic photos of our wedding rings that I LOVE. I also loved the guest book that Studio Veil made of us with photos from our engagement shoot that we could use at the wedding. I highly recommend Studio Veil!!

Anyone on this app right now is probably stressed about their wedding. Everything is being canceled, moved around, and rescheduled. Studio Veil has been absolutely amazing with being flexible and understanding with the MANY changes I’ve had to make to our dates and package. They have been incredibly easy to communicate with, I often get an email response almost immediately. They are always respectful and kind. My fiancé and I have had enough stress (as I’m sure many of you have too!) and it’s great having one vendor that takes stress away, instead of adding to it.

We used Studio Veil’s DJ services, and from the first point of contact via The Knot I was impressed with the team’s professionalism. I asked so many questions, and they were so kind to answer them all until I was comfortable. (I’m a type A person.) Their pricing is totally fair, and making payments was super easy and intuitive. There were no surprises. We kept in touch with Holly leading up to our wedding. She was a wonderful liaison and reported all of our wants to the DJ. Our DJ, Jeremy, was awesome. He caught the tiniest details and was a big part in making the day amazing. It wasn’t in our budget to meet him before the wedding (I think that was one of the packages with Studio Veil), but that didn’t matter. He timed the music perfectly without us even telling him to or practicing. He did check in with us when he needed to. Totally professional and personable, he kept our dance floor going all night. We had so much fun. (My cousin literally shouted, “THIS IS THE BEST PLAYLIST!”) Many thanks to the whole team! You helped make our wedding day a celebration to remember forever.

We had such a great experience with Studio Veil! We hired the company per recommendation of our photographer (S/O to Erin Kathleen Photography!) and had Kent (Kenny) as our DJ and Holly for our photobooth! Kenny was attentive, professional, and had our dancefloor was packed all night long! So many people responded telling me what a party the night was- and it was all thanks to Kenny! In addition - the photobooth was a HIT! The props provided were so fun and I loved the addition of the photo guestbook that we were able to take home. Holly was so helpful and fun to have around! Overall, our experience with Studio Veil was phenomenal and I will highly recommend them to anyone who asks!

We hired Daniel from Studio Veil as our day of wedding coordinator. He was absolutely fantastic and we would highly recommend! He was exactly what I was looking for in a day-of coordinator. My one wish was to not have to think about anything planning-related the day of our wedding. I wanted to delegate all responsibility (including making decisions) that day, allowing us to enjoy our wedding day to the fullest. Daniel had no problem taking charge and managing all of the details & vendor coordination the day of - my dream come true :) We got so many compliments on Daniel from our families and our bridal party who appreciated all of his help & leadership (from answering questions, to assisting with setup & tear down) - he made the day a breeze and completely stress free! Our photos turned out way better than we could have imagined. And we got them back so quickly! We absolutely loved having this photo booth at our wedding! It was a fun way for our guests to sign our guest book and they loved being able to keep a copy of their own! Studio Veil was also very helpful with making arrangements to have this at our venue and the photo booth attendant was great at making sure everyone got a chance to use it!

We had such a great experience with Studio Veil on our August 18 wedding. The DJ, Ryan, was so friendly, professional, and communicative. I really appreciate how he checked in with us briefly throughout the night and helped keep everything moving. Dinner ended up taking longer than we anticipated and he was so flexible with our schedule changes. He was responsive to requests but also read our crowd so well. Our dance floor was packed for hours! The lighting was perfect as well. Almost every single guest enjoyed our photo booth, too! I can't recommend Studio Veil enough.

We used Studio Veil for both DJ and Photo Booth during our wedding last weekend! Both my husband and I cannot think of how they could have been any better! From our first outreach several months ago to the final minute of our wedding last weekend, they were incredibly organized, very friendly and professional. Our ceremony and reception flowed well and Ryan kept everything moving along perfectly as planned! DJ Ryan was SOOOOOO Awesome! Very conscientious of what we as a couple wanted, not what our a couple of our (very drunk) guests wanted. He always checked with us before making announcements and kept us on schedule. He also was mindful of his Mic usage and wasn't chatting for no reason, thus people actually listened when he talked. He was professional yet approachable and played music in response to the crowd, vs just what we requested, which I appreciated. Not everyone likes my kind of music and while I can be stubborn about it, he played music that the crowd responded to and seemed to enjoy dancing to. Of course he played what we wanted as well. The process with Studio Veil was so easy, I will recommend them to everyone and anyone that asks. Thanks for making our day so special!!!

We rented Studio Veil's MiniPod for our wedding photo booth, and could not be happier with our experience. They were simple to book, affordable, and organized - and they knocked it out of the park day of! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed having the photo strips as a little wedding memento, and we had a blast looking through the digital prints and souvenir book the morning after our wedding (it is seriously a riot to see your guests in their purest/weirdest element). Huge shout out to Dan from Studio Veil for being a gem to work with! He handles drunk, elderly, and just plain quirky guests all in stride, and we had several people say how nice/helpful he was. I have already recommended Studio Veil to a friend for her September wedding, and will continue to do so! They were fantastic.

We used Studio Veil for our wedding ceremony sound and reception DJ, and they did wonderful work. At the beginning of the booking process they were patient with our questions, and very responsive to communication. Several weeks prior to the ceremony, we filled out an online survey that gave insight to the event and our personal tastes in music. From this list, I had a follow up call with Holly from the office that was extremely helpful and alleviated a lot of my nerves. On the day of, our DJ Dan showed up right on time. The ceremony sound, wedding party entrance, formal dances, and reception dance went off without issue. He did a great job playing our "must play" list, avoiding the "do not play" list, and using our tastes to pick songs to play while accommodating our guests requests. Literally everyone was on the dance floor from 9pm to midnight when the last song played. The next morning out our breakfast, so many extended family members on both sides commented to me on how fun of an evening it had been and that they hadn't been to a wedding where people danced the entire time as at ours. Thank you Dan and Holly for your great work!

Ryan Johnson was our DJ and he was fantastic! He played most of the songs I suggested (and he made sure I was in the room when they were played!) and he helped the whole day transition super smoothly. He also played music for our ceremony and it was perfect! He was so nice to work with. At the end of the night it had cleared out a bit, it was mainly just the bridal party dancing and he encouraged everyone to request songs, everyone got really into it - it was so much fun!!!

Would highly recommend! The photo booth was a huge hit for all our wedding guests - from young kids to grandparents and the photos turned out great! Holly was super friendly and helpful to all our guests. Lots of fun props too. They also provide a guestbook and it was so fun to look through afterwards.

We used Studio Veil for their Photobooth and DJ and absolutely loved them! For the photobooth - the props were great and the camera set up went perfectly. It was also great to get digital copies of all of the pictures just a few days after the wedding; all of my guests loved that I could share those photos with them quickly on social media right after the wedding weekend! For the DJ - they were phenomenal. I loved that they weren't too pushy about calling out to guests to get them dancing, but still played great music that kept the party going all night! They also handled several issues during the wedding day very well - the power was turned off by accident by the city in the park we were originally going to have the ceremony in, but Studio Veil handled that with grace coordinating with us to get a generator and figure out how to get them power. Then, when a last minute freak rainstorm meant we needed to move inside, they were able to move all of their equipment and set up in less than 30 minutes for our guests and for the ceremony. All in all, one of the best experiences I could have imagined having and I'm so very glad that Studio Veil did my DJ'ing and photobooth!!

Our wedding photo booth was a big hit with our guests! Studio Veil's prices are reasonable and they brought a variety of great props. I did not have to worry about a thing - they arrived, set up, and got things running smoothly on their own. We got a lovely guest book filled with each photo strip taken! It is HILARIOUS to look through and a great keepsake! Our guests each got to keep a strip as well. There are many backgrounds to choose from, something for everyone. I would highly recommend Studio Veil photo booth for your wedding!

Excellent price, even better quality. The employees at the office, specifically Holly, were a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding. They were responsive, flexible, and worked with us in every way we asked. Our DJ, Ryan, could not have been better! He helped us through the night in lining up speeches and dances, and kept the party moving along with the perfect playlist throughout the night. A DJ trainee was also there, he didn't play a part in our wedding, but you can rest assured that Studio Veil doesn't throw inexperienced DJ's at you--only pros!

The photo booth was a HUGE hit at our wedding! The photo attendant was super friendly and helpful, the backdrop was gorgeous and we are loving how the photos turned out! I would definitely recommend the photo booth!!

Caleb was a pretty good DJ and kept people on the dance floor most of the night. However, I was a little disappointed that he played almost none of the songs from the list I submitted, which I had spent a lot of time preparing and which included multiple genres so it seemed like he should have been able to incorporate at least some of them. I had 4 or 5 slow dance songs on the list that I really wanted to hear, so I ended up just going up to request them towards the end of the night. I also asked for a country song to be played, since I hadn't heard any from my list, and to my disappointment, the country song he chose was not from my list and totally cleared the dance floor. I then went back up and specified the song I wanted and people started dancing again. He seemed like a nice guy who was accommodating to my requests, but I was left with the impression that he maybe had not even received my song list, just like he had evidently not been informed that there were a couple songs to be played from my iPhone. He at first said he was not allowed, and then when I explained that Ryan had told me this would be possible when I first booked Studio Veil, he had to call and check. Overall, since I booked with an off-season discount I felt that the experience was OK for the price I paid, but I wouldn't go out of my way to book Studio Veil.

Loved them! It was great to know that he really took what we wanted seriously. A couple of our friends said that the DJ told them he was respecting the bride and grooms request of no country music when the request came in. We of course told him it was fine when our friends begged but it was thoughtful of him to check in first! He kept people on the floor all night!

Studio Veil was so great! Ryan was responsive, and really helpful answering all my questions, and updating me about payment times, etc. We had a long engagement so it was very helpful. We had Adam for a DJ, and he was fabulous! He had a great playlist and was super helpful the whole time. Our Photobooth attendants were great as well, and the guests loved it (and we loved the book!!) they were overall fabulous and recommend them to anyone that is getting married :)

Had a great time with Paul at our wedding. He was attentive and made sure all photo strips were in our book. He was on time and got set up without a hitch. As a bride, it was one less thing I had to think about during the day. Highly recommend!!
