n December 2014 and I WISH I saw these comments sooner. I wish, we didn't book with Peter. I wish, I was like all the other brides, who received their wedding videos just even a few weeks after...But I didn't. I wish there was someone who could've warned me. I wish I could leave -100 Stars to warn and heed others. But this is what YELP is for. So I am spreading my heartache to every other couple out there... Believe all the bad reviews ladies... its not a joke. On the contract, video is promised to be done within 90 days of the wedding (it never came on the promised time frame) Nor did Peter try to contact us in any means of any reason of the delay...Ever since our wedding we haven't even heard a single word/message from him on the status of our footage. We've waited... we were very patient. In the first few contacts through text messaging and emailing and calling he did not respond to us. We've left messages and tried contacting through his social media sites as well. He did not respond to us. Not until weeks later of constant messaging (at this point we're just fed up) And we're becoming very frustrated, he finally responded. Apologizing, about him and wife will be having a child soon, and how she's due for labor...(life's been busy - he has 2 kids right now ) ETC. UNDERSTOOD. We're nice and humble people, we'll let your personal LIFE interfere with your professional career. another 2 months go by...ITS LATE APRIL 2015 His wife gave birth! Congratulations Peter! Now what? He said he will work on our video now... So all this time, Peter hasn't even started. We were patient. We gave him a chance. Why? Because we're good people. We tried to understand his situation and he took advantage of our kindness. He said he would work on it and could give it to us ASAP within a week or so. It's June 27th, 2015 we received Peter's email on our first montage edit. We needed him to edit and take out a few clips and we emailed him about the edits... (WEEKS GO BY....did not hear a word) Worried, we tried calling and texting him. He would not answer until you've blown up his phone several times. And he finally messaged us back. This time, he said "He didn't see the e-mail until now" You've got to be kidding me... At this point he's turning turning good, humble, loving couples into very nasty people. I am beyond in disbelief. My husband and I at this point has had enough of this idiot playing with us. It's late September 2015... I don't have my files yet. My husband and I has had enough. I'm a nice person, but you've made me feel hate at a level beyond words for the burden you have put upon us for our most memorable day. You put this upon yourself, Peter. We regret hiring you. Overall, This vendor was the worst and it is a nightmare working with him. I have never met nor worked with anyone like this. WARNING!! To all personnel and vendors beware of Peter Chang and Studio205 Films. They are unprofessional and will not respond to you once the contract has been signed and the day of the event is over.

e job. I spent countless hours looking at over 10 videographers based on recommendations from friends, wedding planners, wedding venues, etc., and I didn't like any of their work. I found Peter and Studio 205 Films, and he and our photographer were hands down the best wedding expenses spent. We only wish we had the budget to hire him for the slow motion video booth too. Now we can't wait to get our full length video! + -fun!! -flexible with customizing package for our needs -stayed at the wedding beyond his "contracted hours" to ensure he captured everything -completely went out of his way to hook up a real-time photo app we had used to his projector. he absolutely did not need to do this and spent time on trying to make it work for us -BEAUTIFUL same day edit - Peter must have studied the music we gave him prior; it was unbelievable how he was able to match the sound of the chimes to the wedding procession, giggles in the song to the first look, etc. -our video was upbeat and the day was captured BEAUTIFULLY. Unlike with other wedding vendors, you can get an idea of a videographer's product, and we had high expectations for Peter. (which i would recommend doing at least a year in advance because he books up quickly - one of our family friends saw our SDE and wanted to hire him for their wedding which was 7 months out, but unfortunately he was already taken). if you're thinking about it, don't hesitate and just DO IT!!

This will turn out much better in the videos Peter will also go out of his way to help you out when needed, we had a hick up with our first photographer (which I won't name here) but he helped us reach out to others to try to get us some answers. This is what my wife and I showed everyone after our wedding was over and I'm so glad we didn't get someone that was amateurish. His work speaks for itself - absolutely beautiful. He was prompt, too; I believe he delivered earlier than promised. One of those times, I told him I haven't received my photos yet and he helped me get my photos!! He saved me a process that may have taken (no joke) 3 years. The amazing thing about that, other than getting my pictures of course, is that he offered to do it. He is extremely kind and generous along with accountable, reliable, funny, a genius... the list goes on and on. There is not another videographer I would go to. I trust Peter and his work completely.

we arranged to meet up with Peter for an introductory interview of sorts, where we'd all decide if we were a good fit to work together. Before our meeting was even over, my husband and I exchanged a look of knowing: "this guy is totally the right guy for us." Peter was friendly and funny while also being totally professional. He was clearly experienced with wedding videography and his shooting style was exactly what we were looking for: candid and romantic, authentically telling the story of our day without forcing anything. His personality totally meshed with ours, so we hired him on the spot. On our wedding day, Peter and his assistant arrived early to scope out our venue, which was a huge comfort for me! I appreciated that he didn't just show up the minute before he was supposed to start shooting. When he arrived, he was RELAXED and ready to shoot - he was cracking jokes and being silly, which was exactly what I needed to stay calm and relaxed myself! He was in the room when I was finishing up getting ready, and BOY AM I GLAD HE WAS! As my mom zipped up the back of my dress, she noticed that the back of my dress was no longer closing all the way, leaving a small gap at the top of the zipper - NOT what I wanted my dress to look like! So PETER stepped in, told me that he knew how to sew, and he sewed me into my dress! He did a flawless job and the dress looked perfect again!!! It was amazing, and further confirmed Peter's awesomeness. I was surprised and so grateful that he'd offered to sew my dress shut in a pinch. Once our day got rolling and we started with our first look and formal shots, he basically turned into a chameleon -- in the best kind of way. Peter worked so well with our photographer that I hardly noticed when & where he was shooting. He has a way of sort of disappearing and still managing to get incredible footage - exactly what I wanted from our videographer! I tend to feel really awkward in front of cameras, so I appreciated his shooting style: stealthy. A few months ago, my husband and I had asked a friend to make a video slideshow for the reception. At the end of our friend's slideshow, the video suddenly went to video footage of our wedding day - wait WHAT?! It turns out, a few months ago, my hubby and Peter had conspired to SURPRISE me with a Same Day Edit at the reception - and WOW, it was INCREDIBLE! Peter is such a stealthy shooter that I never even noticed his absence while he was putting together the edit - yet there we were, watching footage from the beginning of our special day! I couldn't stop crying (which was a theme of the day that Peter also thoroughly captured), and was so grateful to Peter & my husband for the amazing surprise. For the rest of the reception, people kept coming up to us, raving about how wonderful the same day edit was...they couldn't believe that Peter had put all of that together SO QUICKLY! Peter is amazing, and I'm SO glad that we chose him to capture our special day. He is friendly and funny, while staying professional and productive. And he's stealthy like James Bond (but with less hair) behind the camera, so he was the perfect choice for us!

The only thing I had to think about were some song selections for the same day edit (probably the easiest thing on my checklist :). eter, I wouldn’t have seen my stop-motion vision come to life. We really wanted to create a stop-motion video and have it incorporated somehow into our wedding. I was looking for various videographers and cinematographers to help make my vision come to life. When I first started chatting with Peter about packages for the wedding day, we instantly clicked as far as discussing the stop-motion project and we got into the groove of discussing different ideas for it right away. I was pleased to see his mutual interest level in the project because I knew we were going to end up with an awesome outcome. Together with our ideas, we shot and put together a kick-ass stop-motion short video that we played before our grand entrance at the reception. Peter’s talents really helped make the project come to life. As far as his work on the standard wedding day cinematography, Peter’s talent and work speaks for itself. I knew that I wanted to have Peter shoot my wedding day because I was so touched with all his other work that I viewed. The video conjured alot of emotions for us and our guest and just recapped all the great moments of the day. I think the video made us all remember even after all those drinks and crazy dancing why we were here and thats to celebrate our love for each other!! et very classy--he knows how to make a professional wedding video without making it cheesy. His shots are smooth and natural, and he never makes you force or re-do anything. I barely realized I was on camera, so I wasn't self-conscious like I thought I'd be. The day of the wedding, he met me early in the morning while I started my hair appointment, and stayed with us all the way until the cake cutting--about 12 hours! I was originally debating asking a family member to just film a few pieces of the wedding, but I'm so glad I hired a professional, and Peter was so worth it both in terms of the time he spends on you and the quality of his work. He was flexible, organized, on-time, and very professional. He was always easy to get a hold of, and always where he needed to be. He is also incredibly funny, I was laughing through all of my morning appointments while he cracked jokes. Book studio205films!! Peter is worth every penny.
