The stylists at Studio 88 are the best and I could not recommend them enough. I am so happy I booked them. I had a large bridal party and they handled it all with such ease. They were so professional, kind, and made planning so easy for me. I loved my hair and makeup. They were able to capture exactly what I wanted. My bridal party is still raving about how much they loved the experience getting ready and how much they loved their hair and makeup.

I had the dream team of Brittany (my hair), Katie (my makeup), and Brooke for my wedding, and I was thrilled with the results! My five bridesmaids, MIL, and mom, were all super happy as well. One of my bridesmaids said, "this is the first time I got my makeup professionally done that I didn’t go right into the bathroom to "fix" it." I don't often wear a lot of makeup and never do my hair, so I didn't want anything over the top. Brittany and Katie understood the assignment, and I felt like an elevated version of myself. My hair and makeup lasted through tears and sweat and looked amazing in our pictures. Not only are they highly skilled, but they all also have great personalities and brought a fun yet patient and calming presence to what was a very hectic pre-wedding environment. I would highly recommend booking Studio 88 for your wedding!

Brittany was extremely helpful and responsive when I was looking to book hair and makeup services for my wedding. At my trial with her and Katie, they helped me decide what I was looking for and did a wonderful job. I left feeling confident that we would be in excellent hands! The morning of my wedding, Brittany, Katie, and Brooke traveled to the bridal suite where we were getting ready. I had nine women of all ages receiving hair and makeup services. The girls listened to what each woman asked for and made sure everyone still looked like themselves. They were timely, kind, thorough, and professional. We were all so impressed and happy with how our hair and makeup came out. It looked flawless in pictures and held up through some tears, sweat, and long hours of dancing! I highly recommend the girls at Studio 88 Salon if you are looking for hair and/or makeup services! You will love the way you look!

Brittany and her crew were AWESOME!!! Highly recommended. They were super flexible for my trial knowing I was traveling far. I really appreciated how they accommodated my big wedding party. And the results on the big day were just what I asked for!! Overall they helped make a special day even more perfect!

Brittany and Katie were absolutely incredible! I am super picky with my hair and the style changed a couple times and Brittany was so patient and made my hair exactly what I had envisioned for my wedding. The makeup was airbrushed and it made everyone look flawless and it lasted all night. All my bridesmaids, my mom and mother in law were thrilled with the results of everything! They are reasonably priced for the services they provide. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Such a great experience! :)

I moved to Maine from NYC and I could not be happier to find this studio! Everyone that works here is so nice and talented. My girl, Brooke, has been doing my hair for a year now and did my hairstyle for my wedding and she's been the best and my most favorite hair stylist! Wow. Brittany and Katie did the hair and makeup for me, my mom and mother in law, and my three bridesmaids for my 7/24/21 wedding, and they were absolutely incredible to work with. Everyone was so thrilled with the way they looked, and I in particular just couldn't have been happier with how my hair and makeup turned out. Not only that, but Brittany and Katie were a JOY to be with and were encouraging, lovely, punctual, upbeat, and completely professional throughout the day. They came to the hotel to help us get ready there, and they left as trusted friends. I hired Katie and Brittany to do hair and makeup at my wedding this past July and I could not be happier! All of my bridesmaids and my mom loved how they looked and felt confident and beautiful all evening! Studio 88 was very flexible to work with throughout the pandemic-I had to reschedule twice and they rolled with the punches! Katie did my hair and makeup and took a lot of time to listen to what I was envisioning at my trial appointment. Can't recommend this business enough!

I booked Brittany, the owner of studio 88 before I booked my venue or date because there was no one else I wanted to do my wedding hair and no one else I wanted to do my make up and my bridesmaids than the other girls at Studio 88. The girls were AMAZING! They were so fun, accommodating and added to the day’s perfect. I can’t say enough good things about these girls!!!

These girls are amazing! This is by far the thing I was most worried about for my wedding since I'm out of state & couldn't do a trial run. I had to book in the hopes that the reviews & photos were a good indicator & thank goodness they were. I almost never like the way other other people do my hair but Brittany knocked it out of the park. I showed her a couple pictures from pinterest & she made me look so beautiful. I immediately felt relaxed when I saw my hair because I no longer had to worry about how I was going to look. She was so easy to work with, on time, affordable, & a dog lover! win win! I feel like she has a good understanding of what you want & dont want when you talk to her & for every age group. My mom loved her hair just as much as all my bridesmaids & myself. I highly recommend her & her team to new brides.

I cannot say enough good things about this salon!! Brittany, Katie, and Brooke travelled to the hotel in Ogunquit where we got ready and they were punctual, professional, and so much fun! I had my trial about a month before with Brittany and Katie and they were awesome about listening to what I wanted on the day of. My bridesmaids all had hair and make up done as well and they all loved it! Not to mention the make up did not budge through a day of a little rain, happy tears, and all the dancing. The team was also done with all the girls right on time which I appreciated so much! 10/10 recommend!!!

Brooke (hair) and Danielle (makeup) are incredibly talented, and were so much fun to work with! I'd book them again in a heartbeat, and recommend to anyone getting married in the State of Maine. Brooke saved my a$$ -- I had a nightmare of a makeup trial with a different artist from elsewhere and, as an out-of-state bride, I was real nervous about finding a replacement to travel to my venue (which was far from everything) to do hair and makeup for my bridal party and me. Brooke made it easy to book, she was communicative and very organized about inspiration photos, and nailed the look I wanted for my hair during the trial. Although the final look on my wedding day came out slightly different, it was still beautiful and it was only in comparing photos that I noticed a difference. Danielle understands how to work with a woman's features to achieve a naturally beautiful makeup result. She listened to me (which was key!) and remembered the modifications I wanted from the trial to the wedding day. My mother, who had never had professional makeup done and was nervous, had never looked more beautiful and like the best version of herself! Everyone commented how amazing yet natural she looked. They traveled to my venue a couple of hours from their studio and were like part of the girl gang. My bridesmaids also loved them and their results! Highly recommend.

Brittany and Brooke were wonderful! From the trial to my wedding day they were friendly and professional and their work is spectacular. I have never felt more beautiful! They came right to me which made the morning so easy and stress free. I love that I looked polished and refined without looking like I had a ton of product in my hair or makeup caked on my face. My guests couldn't stop gushing about how radiant I looked, and all thanks to this awesome team!

These girls are a dream team. Coming from out of state I had no idea where to look and when I came to Maine for a trial I knew I wanted to work with Brittany, Katie, and Brooke - but when my wedding day came they exceeded all expectations. My hair and make-up was what I dreamt it would look like on my wedding day, I felt myself but elevated (people kept telling me I looked like a Pinterest bride!) and all of my girls (all 8 of them) felt the same. I had guests commenting on how beautiful the hair and make up was on the bridal party. It was so important to me that they all felt their best and they did because of these girls. We even ended up being ready early (and we had 10 people total) because they have such an amazing workflow between the three of them. We could tell we were working with a group that got along and loved what they do which made the whole getting ready process even more special. I highly recommend them and wish them continued success!

Brittany and Katie are amazing at what they do. I originally found this salon for my funky-purple-colored-hair needs and was thrilled when, after moving away from Maine (and no longer able to have my hair consistently done by the rockstar that is Katie), these trusted ladies travelled to Massachusetts to be a part of my wedding day prep. They made me, my bridesmaids, and my mom look glowing and glamorous, all the while taking their time, being communicative, and ensuring everybody was getting the look they wanted. My make-up by Katie stayed on through tears and humidity, and my hair by Brittany was still in tact through the day after my wedding!
