Stumptown DJs is a Portland DJ & entertainment company located in the heart of the city. We provide customers with a professional, organized & talented DJ service that’s flexible & fun for everyone.
Weddings – $1,200-$2,150 ( for 4 hours of service)
Tier pricing breaks down as follows.
Tier 1: $1,250 ( for up to 4 hours of service) Additional hours are $225 per hour.
Tier 1+: $1,500 ( for up to 4 hours of service) Additional hours are $250 per hour.
Tier 2: $2,000 ( for up to 5 hours of service) Additional hours are $275 per hour.
Tier 3: $2,450 ( for up to 5 hours of service) Additional hours are $300 per hour.
* Prices vary based on the DJ’s experience & amount of pre-event interaction you desire from them.
Prior to your wedding, you get:
Free initial phone or in-person consultation. We go over location details, timeframes, venue setup options, etc. (If you would like to meet any of our DJs prior to booking, this can always be arranged.)
Free ceremony and reception timelines (upon receipt of signed contract and deposit).
Free access to our online music database (to create your own playlists for seating music, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, etc.).
On the day of your wedding, we provide:
An organized and professional DJ.
A quality sound system, mixing board and laptop.
Two handheld microphones (one wired, one wireless). One lapel mic available upon request (at no extra charge).
A high-quality, multicolored and sound-activated disco light.
Free setup and teardown.
All DJs are capable of MCing at no additional charge.
All of our DJs have thousands of songs on hand, so we can play just about anything. If WiFi is available, we can download songs, on the spot, for special requests.
After your event, you can expect:
A follow-up email, text, and/or phone call.
A final email with links for you to post reviews on various sites (e.g., Yelp, Facebook, WeddingWire, The Knot & Google).

Hiring DJ Benni as our wedding DJ was the best decision we made for our wedding! Benni was a game-changer for our special day! From the first consultation to monthly check-in’s, it was clear we were in expert hands. We shared our vision and DJ Benni shared his thoughts based on the weddings he has DJ for, and he saved us on making some big mistakes as we are new to this. His professionalism and attention to detail were impeccable. Benni let us customize as much or as little as we wanted and would constantly encourage us to do what we want and not cave to “wedding norms”. We ended up having a classical version of Lord of the Rings as the processional and Top Gun Theme song as the recessional, our dog was our flower girl, and DJ Benni rocked every step of the way!
We had a tool to help us build out the timeline/flow of our wedding from start to finish. This allowed our DJ to know exactly what to do, and when. And in the case of an emergency if our DJ couldn’t make it, a sub could step in and execute. Which allowed me (bride) and the groom to enjoy the evening and not think about logistics. DJ Benni was also very flexible and easily adjusted on the fly for a few things too. The dance floor was always full, and DJ Benni played banger after banger! He asked us to create and share a playlist with songs we wanted played, the more the merrier, and to note our top ten “must play” songs. From there, he was able to understand the vibe we wanted, and he found songs that we didn’t think of that were major hits! My shy 10-year-old cousin was dancing and having the time of his life, and DJ Benni gave him his contact info and told him to call if he ever wanted to DJ. My cousin was over the moon and had the time of his life.
DJ Benni also skillfully read the room, adjusting the music to keep the energy high throughout the night. The sound quality was top-notch, and the equipment setup was sleek and unobtrusive. They also provided excellent MC services, making smooth transitions between ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, speeches, and dancing. His enthusiasm and charisma added an extra layer of excitement, making our wedding reception unforgettable. We received numerous compliments from our guests about the fantastic music and vibrant atmosphere. If you want a memorable wedding celebration, hiring DJ Benni is a must!

DJ Ty was absolutely incredible. My husband and I had, quite literally, the best dance party of our lives. The dance floor was COMPLETELY PACKED the entire night, and it was so much fun. DJ Ty knew exactly what to play to get people out dancing and keep them on the floor. When the party was finally over, one of our guests actually yelled out loud, "But I don't want to go home yet!" I cannot recommend Stumptown & DJ Ty enough! They're the best of the best.
We chose Stumptown DJ’s for our wedding music/MC management and could not be happier or more impressed with their service, specifically with DJ Steven. DJ Steven was our wedding DJ/MC and I cannot recommend him enough. His professionalism, communication, wedding management, and overall candor was incredible and was TRULY a major variable in the success of our wedding. His knowledge of every genre of music and his ability to make adjustments on the fly, based on the vibe of the party, was truly impressive. Not only was he incredibly professionally proficient, but also gave us a sense of calm and surety that sincerely helped on our wedding day. He went above in beyond in every way. I would HIGHLY recommend DJ Steven and the Stumptown DJ team for your special day.

Steven was easygoing, outgoing, made everybody want to get up and dance. He was part of the party! Followed all of our requests. He had great ideas. Very easy and fun to work with. He remembered everything we asked him to take care of. And he helped us get set up to record our special instrumental guest.

Casey from Stumptown DJs was awesome. He was very professional, organized, and pleasant to work with. Casey did a great job as emcee and sound engineer as well as choosing great music that kept the dance floor rocking. His sound system was awesome as well. We also rented their photobooth which was really fun, would highly reccomend it. Book with stmptown you won't be disappointed!

Nothing but 5 stars all around! We had DJ Steven at our wedding a few weeks ago and we’re so happy we did. From his communication through out planning meetings, to his demeanor and helpfulness day of we were grateful he was part of our day. Henry couldn’t have done better! We had a phone call a few days before the wedding to make sure we were on the same page. On the day of, he communicated with us throughout the day if things were changing and helped us get in line for the ceremony and grand entrance. He took song requests, played a limbo game for the bridal party and kids, and had the best ramp up for the end of the night. Absolutely amazing!

Katie at Stumptown DJs was fantastic to work with and made our wedding day truly special with the music. Throughout the day, guests kept telling us how great the music was—from the welcome music and cocktail hour to the reception. Katie's song choices added so much fun to the night, keeping everyone dancing until the very end. We really appreciate all the work and effort she put into making sure the music was perfect for our big day.
Stumptown DJs were also a breeze to work with. They made the whole process so easy, and we felt confident from the start that they were the perfect fit for our wedding—and they did not disappoint. We highly recommend Stumptown DJs for any event—you won’t be disappointed!
We had DJ Samir through Stumptown DJ’s and also used their photobooth! Samir crushed our wedding and we got many compliments for how smoothly everything went and he truly kept the dance floor moving!!!! He also setup our photobooth and we worked with Matt to get the Irish theme for our photobooth!! Highly recommend!!
We rented Stumptown DJs Photo Booth and had Matt as an MC for our wedding.
The photobooth was everything we wanted and more. The guests couldn’t get enough, it was easy for all age groups to use, and the image quality is out of this world. I loved that we got all the pictures back after the wedding too.
Leading up to the wedding, we had two meetings where we discussed music choices + order of events. We were able to perfect every detail which made the day of feel a lot less stressful.
Matt was an awesome MC. He was warm & welcoming. He really knows how to get a crowd engaged and hyped up, while keeping the wedding on track. We are SO glad we had Stumptown DJs as a vendor.

DJ Casey absolutely crushed our wedding! We received so many compliments from our guests afterwards about how impressed they were with the DJ. Leading up to the big day, it was so easy working with Casey and he made the process fun. On our wedding day, he helped seamlessly guide us through everything and brought such a big energy! His emcee skills were perfect and his music choices were on point. 10/10 recommend booking Casey for your next event!

Jai was just what we we're looking for, and he delivered. Great on the front end, and awesome when the time came. Great vibe, good humor, and he helped ensure everything went off well, be it handing us microphones in the midst of our ceremony, or pumping out the right jam at that right time, he was on it. Steven was great! He listened to our requests and was able to build off of that. He hit every mark we wanted during the ceremony and helped make the whole night go smoothly. Everyone was dancing and he was able to read the room with his music selection. He was great to work with!

Stumptown DJs were amazing to work with and I highly recommend using them for your wedding/party; especially DJ Benni. Our first conversation with Stumptown was just a run through of what would work best with our wedding’s size and style (200 guests). We originally were looking at a cheaper option, but they encouraged us to go with DJ Benni who has the equipment and experience with larger weddings and it was ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! DJ Benni helped make our wedding EPIC. Everyone, from every age group, talked about how good the music was and how fun the dancing was and that was because Benni knew what he was doing. He MC'ed everything and kept the flow of the evening moving flawlessly. Additionally, we had multiple phone conversations/consultations before the wedding, which was extremely helpful and very comforting. He helped us map out what the evening looked like, ensured we weren’t forgetting anything, and helped us curate different playlists for different parts of the evening. He was really great to work with and definitely made our special day so fun! Benni, if you read this, thanks again! Truly an AMAZING night!

DJ Casey from Stumptown DJs was absolutely phenomenal! His communication throughout the process was clear and friendly and put us at ease right away. He was flexible with our unconventional ceremony location, and catered the playlists to exactly the vibes we were going for. Once the day arrived, he delivered big time by bringing the party - the dance floor was bumpin' the ENTIRE time from beginning to end. He also did a great job with the announcements and guiding people. Cannot recommend DJ Casey enough for your wedding or any event at all.

We found Stumptown DJs after Ty was the DJ at a friend's wedding, and we had such a good time there that we had to hire him for ourselves! We got married at the Evergreen on 10/8/23, and we loved having DJ Ty on our team for the big day. Ty was very thorough in reviewing all of our playlists and song requests, and he was knowledgeable about working in transitions between tracks for special moments, such as bridal party entrance and grand exit after the ceremony. Following the ceremony, Ty was super helpful in announcing special dances, cake cutting, and speeches. We loved the suggestions that Ty added into our playlists for dancing, and so many of our friends had a great time and commented on how much they enjoyed the music. Ty was also able to accommodate our request for a special private last dance, which we really appreciated. Again, we had a great experience with Ty and Stumptown, and we would highly recommend him for your wedding!

Stephanie, Thanks for taking the time to write this, even so much later than the event happened. We know how wedding review stuff can be so overwhelming. You did a great job explaining how TY works it.
We can not recommend them enough! Professional, communicative, thorough, and reassuring. We chose Tier 3 (WORTH IT if it's in the budget) and felt well taken care of during our calls. On the day of, our original DJ (Casey- super great to work with!) wasn't feeling well but not only did they send a backup DJ (Jai) to save the day, but by the time we were filled in, Casey had already called Jai and filled him in on everything he needed for the day- no action needed from us to pivot, phew! And our guests couldn't stop raving about the music! Will definitely be recommending to any other bride and grooms to be.
Music and the dancefloor was something VERY important to us, and I feared finding a DJ who would capture the flow and feeling of the night would be difficult.
DJ Denis was incredible. Denis took our playlist and made the dance floor vibey, full, and busy all night. His spinning and mixing was top-class, professional, and flawless. All night, guests were coming up to comment on the quality of his work. Worth every penny. If you want a DJ who will play a bunch of boring tracks front to back with lazy transitions, Denis is not your guy. If you want someone who love music, loves a party, and loves to get people moving all night with good tracks, hire Denis and don't look back.
We couldn't have gotten luckier when we stumbled upon Stumptown DJs! After some research on their website, we knew we had to work with DJ Benni. Benni went above and beyond, accommodated live performances, worked with our custom tracks and very specific playlist requests. He kept in constant communication with us, having check-in calls every month leading up to the big day. He was enthusiastic, friendly, reassuring, and incredibly knowledgable. All of our guests had a blast on the dance floor and raved about the DJ of the night! Benni was also a wonderful full event emcee and ensured that the timeline flowed seamlessly, even when we ran over, and made sure that we didn't feel any stress as the bride & groom. Hire Benni and Stumptown - you will not regret it.
Ty was the dj for our wedding at the Abernethy Center this weekend and he did an incredible job. The dance floor was full all night long and everyone we talked to said they loved his transition skills and flow. He was super responsive and even rolled with several last minute changes that we made. We'd absolutely recommend Stumptown DJs and Ty to anyone!
Stumptown DJs were literally the best vendor we worked with! Super professional, yet easy to talk to and joke around with! DJ Denis was THE BEST! Our Zoom meeting ended up expiring because we were just hitting it off too well, haha! The way he transitioned to each song was flawless, and it was night of nonstop dancing! Definitely go through Stumptown, you will not regret it!

DJ Katie was amazing to work with for our wedding. The Stumptown DJs database and timeline website was so organized, easy to use, and made planning with Katie such a breeze in the midst of all the madness of wedding planning. Katie hopped on a call with us several times to make sure everything was perfect, and she had our timeline down to a T on the day of the event. Our venue – Nordic Northwest – had two outside areas for the ceremony and cocktail hour as well as an indoor reception space, and Katie was there early to get everything set up and sound checked ahead of time. She was so fun to work with, and did a fantastic job making announcements throughout the reception and when we had to make some last minute changes to our Grand Exit plan. We looked at so many DJ options when we were initially planning, and I cannot recommend Stumptown and DJ Katie enough for a wedding. If you want clear communication, a great online portal for planning, and professional, fun, awesome DJs, look no further.
We worked with Stumptown DJs (DJ Ty) for our wedding in September and had a great experience. There was a bit of an issue with finding out which of their DJs was actually available, we were initially told that the one we requested was available, but then later were told they actually weren't. In the end, we ended up working with Ty and from that point on communication was excellent. He made sure he was clear on all of the details and frequently messaged with us leading up to our wedding day. We also enjoyed using Stumptown's music database website. It was easy to use and had a great selection of music and also areas where you can put in songs that weren't in their database. We decided to use Stumptown DJs after two of our close friends worked with them for their weddings and we were just as pleased with our experience. Would recommend!
DJ Samir with Stumptown DJs made our wedding a night to remember! Stumptown DJs worked with us on our last-minute booking ensuring we would have the perfect soundtrack for out ceremony and reception with less than a month's notice. DJ Samir was professional, kind, and funny; making him the perfect emcee. He was able to read the room and keep the party going during our intimate outdoor wedding. We had several guests ask us where we found such an awesome DJ! Everyone loved Samir, and we cannot recommend him enough!
We had such a wonderful experience working with Stumptown DJs for our Portland wedding! Matthew was so helpful throughout the planning process and DJ Steven was amazing at our wedding. Steven kept everything on schedule through the ceremony and reception and was so friendly and easy to work with. The dance floor at the end of the night was SO much fun! He did an amazing job getting people dancing while still playing all of the songs we wanted to hear. We would absolutely recommend Stumptown DJs and DJ Steven! I can't say enough about our positive experience with Stumptown DJ's. My husband and I got married at Tin Roof Barn this September and DJ Steven CAME THROUGH!! Every single person that was at the wedding was out on the dance floor singing and dancing to EVERY SINGLE SONG Steven played. We even had a rouge guest look like they were going to try to give a speech and Steven was eyeing him and making sure if he needed to cut the mic he would. Steven is extremely friendly and the most easy vendor to work with. He made our vision of a crazy fun dance floor come alive. I will never forget this night with everyone singing in our prop microphones and it's all thanks to Steven. Can't say thank you enough. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Stumptown DJ's and HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend DJ Steven.
DJ Samir kept the party going! He was professional, friendly, on time, and really respectful. He checked in with us whenever the timeline was starting to sway and he provided a true professional opinion. He was fantastic.
DJ Bennie was awesome! He was very responsive and flexible to our ever evolving wedding during the planning process and talked with us multiple times before the wedding to make sure he understood us and our desires for the big day. He definitely kept the party going and everyone wanted to be on the dance floor thanks to him.
Jai is a talented DJ who was so helpful in the planning process of our wedding. We had an outdoor wedding with about 200 attendees. He's such an expert and knew how to handle a wedding of that size in an environment that can have some unpredictability. He's also just extremely kind and helpful. His chill demeanor was appreciated and he's very organized. Extremely happy with our choice and with the work that Jai did!
Booked with Stumptown for our wedding in Portland. DJ Steven was extremely attentive at communicating with us regarding questions and requests before and during our event! On the day of Steven was an excellent DJ, helping everything run smoothly and communicating well with our other vendors to make the event even better. And of course, the music was great throughout the day. We gave a small list of songs we wanted and some genres we liked, and Steven created a lively playlist around that. Overall we had a great experience with Steven and Stumptown and highly recommended!
Could not speak more highly of Stumptown Dj’s! DJ Steven just did our wedding at the Columbia Gorge Hotel and did an amazing job, we had several people come up to us after and say what a great DJ he was. He knew exactly what to play and when and was really able to read the crowd. The before process was also very impressive, their website and timeline review made me feel so confident about our wedding day and helped open my eyes at how important the DJ is during your wedding and how much more they do than you think. They were professional, kind, and I would recommend them to anyone who is having a wedding in the PNW.
We hired Stumptown DJs for our wedding and Benni was our DJ. He was great-- very responsive and easy to communicate with, and he listened to our input about what songs we wanted and what we wanted the vibe to be! He read the room and took people's requests. And he did a great job making the announcements and keeping our guests informed throughout the evening.
Stumptown, and by extension, Jai Christian, was an incredible partner when helping set up our special day. Jai met with us multiple times before the big day to really get a feeling of what we were looking for when it came to a DJ for our wedding. He listened to our concerns, and what was most important to both of us, and most importantly he executed! He kept the flow of the wedding day going and never once did we feel we were rushed through the various steps during the wedding. Also, the dancefloor was constantly packed with no dull moments which was one of the most important things for our wedding. All in all, we would highly recommend Jai.
DJ Jai from Stumptown DJ's was an amazing DJ for my wedding. He could read the energy in the room and chose the BEST music. He was a great MC and subtly prepped my dad before his speech, which my dad so appreciated. He was understanding and flexible with helping me choose music for our wedding playlist; we had in person and virtual appointments and he let me text him too! The flow of the wedding was perfect and he seamlessly transitioned into the timeline of the wedding and the dancing part of the night! He really went above and beyond, I will always highly recommend him and Stumptown DJ's for any event!
Matt, the owner helped us organize and coordinate the entire timeline. Samir, the DJ made it happen. Everything went smoothly and as planned. They kept things moving. Was great fun.

Ty was our DJ and did a fantastic job at our venue Pomarius Nursery! We had a goth disco theme and he played perfect music for our wedding. I danced for a full 3 hours and had the time of my life. He didn’t play one song we didn’t like. He was really throughout in the planning process and checked in with us multiple times to make sure everything was just right. He was so kind and a wonderful addition to our wedding! The music at each portion of the wedding added so much to the vibe and overall perfection of the day! He did such a marvelous job and I cannot recommend him enough!! Hire Ty!
We met with DJ Casey when we first interviewed Stumptown, and we loved the vibe. We knew we wanted a disco sound, and DJ Casey's sample was the best we listened to on the website. It met our vibe requirements; he was great and easy to work with. The online timeline and playlists were easy to manage, but it was a lot of information to go through. The day was great. DJ Casey kept the music groovy, and the dance floor was popping.
We were very happy with the music on Saturday. DJ Hector was amazing and played the songs on our list and many more which was great. We had a lot of people come up to us and say how good the music was so we are very happy! Thanks Hector
DJ Casey from Stumptown DJ’s did our wedding. Honestly I’m not a huge DJ person but DJ Casey went above and beyond making our entre event flow seamlessly. We asked him for a millennial dance party and our friends were obsessed with the play list!

Stumptown DJ's are great and we absolutely loved DJ Steven! Matt (the owner) was so helpful and we have several phone calls to go over the schedule and expectations. We felt super prepared for the day of the wedding. DJ Steven was able to get all the music we wanted for our ceremony and reception. The music was the perfect millennial mix for our wedding. The timing for special dances was perfect and DJ Steven checked in with my husband and I all night and kept us on schedule. We cannot recommend him enough! I highly recommend Stumptown DJs and DJ Benni! From the start it was clear that they are a step above the rest! From the initial inquiry phone call, to creating playlists on their online database, to the final check in with both Matt (owner) and Benni (DJ), the experience was organized, thorough, and fun! Benni set up and managed 3 different sound systems throughout the evening. He kept the dance floor packed for several hours! He also helped us stick to our timeline throughout the event. After my wedding, several guests told me, “I didn’t want the dancing to end!” and “DJ Benni was one of the best DJs I’ve seen at a wedding!” I could not have asked for a better experience or DJ!
Ty stepped in when our original DJ had an emergency two days before our wedding, and was professional and kind right off the bat. He called us to go over questions, get our lists of important songs, and even cut down our first dance at a weird section for us so we could have the second half of the song. We got SO many compliments on the music, but it was all Ty- he kept the dance floor popping all night, and even though we unhelpfully did not give him a last song suggestion or a cake cutting selection, his choices were so spot-on we had multiple family members sure we had planned it because the songs were both meaningful to us. We would 100% recommend Stumptown DJs and Ty, and are so thankful to him for saving the day.
Casey was AMAZING and connected us with everything we needed. The day ended up being really windy so he was able to hook up our live musicians to speakings while the ceremony was held outside. Casey was an amazing MC and such a fun DJ. We absolutely threw down on the dance floor. If only the dinner had gone more quickly, we would've been able to dance more!
We worked with DJ Ty for our wedding and we have to say, what an excellent experience. Ty was communicative in the months leading up to our wedding and was nice enough to schedule two virtual meetings with us to discuss the wedding schedule, how to announce things, along with the playlist. It made for a very reassuring experience knowing that Ty knew what we want and even double checked a lot of things to be on the ball.
When it came to the actual music and dance party, an overarching comment we got from many guests was, "that was the best wedding dance party we've been to", and we could not agree more. Ty (and Stumptown) were easy to work with when setting up a music playlist. Ty took into account all of the songs we wanted to be played during our reception and was perfect at reading the room to know what to play next and with filling out the rest of the playlist. All the music, from our entrance songs to cocktail hour to dinner jazz to the dance tunes, felt perfectly in place and excellently timed.
Overall it was a totally professional experience working with DJ Ty and Stumptown DJs and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or other special event.
We had our wedding at The Barn at Countryside with around 60 guests. DJ Casey was super attentive and made sure my requests were implemented with ease. Our prior meetings before the wedding were an amazing opportunity to convey my wishes so that on the day everything went seamlessly! 1000% recommend Stumptown DJs but mostly Casey, he kept the party going!!
DJ Avi was exactly what we wanted in a DJ for our wedding! Avi was creative, energetic, flexible and responsive to our needs. We felt comfortable and confident with Avi and they were fun and engaging to be around and for our guests!
I can't even begin to describe the experience we had with Stumptown DJs, and Jai specifically. The company was so easy to work with and helped us every step of the way, but Jai is the star! He was so amazing to work with. He has such a great personality and we always seemed to be in step. We had enough check-ins that we felt completely comfortable and had total trust in him. We essentially sent him a spotify playlist to work from, so he could get our vibe, and then just asked him to run with it. The day of the wedding everything was fantastic. He made the whole event go so smoothly and really helped keep the timeline moving along. He knew just what music to play (and to not play!) He is warm and friendly and it was a joy to work with him. If I ever need a DJ for anything else, there is no question I would pick Jai! He truly is a gem!
Wow, we cannot say enough good things about Samir. He was amazing from the moment he arrived to the moment our send off happened. He rolled with unexpected timeline changes (sorry!), played one of the best playlists we've ever heard and kept the party dancing all night! We expected a couple of people to dance, but EVERYONE got on the dance floor thanks to Samir. If you are looking for a great DJ that reads the room and can tell what the people want, go with Samir! You will not be disappointed.

I want to thank the Stumptown DJs team from the bottom of my heart. If there was 10 stars I can give on this review I'd give 20! It was an absolute perfect wedding for us. We just tied the knot this weekend in downtown Portland and couldn't be happier. We were so sad it went by so fast and the magical night of dancing came to an end. Definitely a day we will remember forever! DJ Ty was everything we could've asked for in a DJ and more. He MC'd the wedding, released tables, helped our Mariachi band get set up, and most importantly mixed a lot of crazy song request seamlessly and made it impossible for our guests to get off the dance floor. We had Hispanic and Russian/Central Asian cultures come together and it was absolutely perfect. Thank you times a million DJ Ty!

Casey was literally the best money we could have spent on our wedding! He made the night so fun for all our guests and was so easy to work with and helped us through the whole process. A DJ can really make or break an event and we have not stopped talking about how happy we were to have Casey as our DJ and emcee. Hired Stumptown for a celebration/party with all the trimmings of a wedding. The process was incredibly smooth. Spoke both with Casey and Matt who were super helpful and informative. The online database was key, and the sample playlists were incredibly helpful. DJ Drew/Andrew was simply put a rockstar! I wanted a dance party and he delivered! He was professional, thoughtful and went with the flow when things (inevitably) did not run according to schedule. He got everyone on the dance floor, including 70+ year old parents. We had a "no request" policy which he was able to politely and firmly reinforce (despite many drunken requests/demands). Would absolutely hire him and/or go through this group again for any/all events!
We enjoyed working with Denis and Stumptown DJs, his set was great and we had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend Denis.
We had an amazing day thanks to Jai of Stumptown DJ’s. He was thoughtful and caring during the entire experience and took the time (many 1:1 meetings) to get to know our music taste. Jai was able to read the dance floor on the day of our wedding and was able to make sure that all ages wouldn’t be able to leave the dance floor. WOW! Five stars all around from myself, my husband and all of our wedding guests. DJ Denis did a fantastic job - from keeping an eye on the timeline and being communicative to reading the room and playing the best songs! My husband and I admittedly did not provide the most comprehensive playlists for Denis…. We picked a handful of songs here and there and he filled in the rest which helped so much with the stress of planning! We have been to several weddings and we may be biased, but he was the best DJ compared to all of them! Would recommend!
We hired Matt for our wedding at the Abernathy Center in Oregon City. Stumptown DJs was a preferred vendor on their list, so I was already confident in their work. This was my first experience hiring a DJ, and it certainly set the bar high! Matt and his assistant Serafina were very professional and fun to work with. They made me feel very comfortable and at ease, and even had a really neat website for us to use to request songs, set up our timeline, etc. Matt was even able to recommend a florist and hairstylist for me after I had a hard time finding them, and they worked out great! Very happy we went with Stumptown!

We are so happy we booked DJ Katie with Stumptown DJs! We had a somewhat non-traditional wedding, and we wanted to keep things lively and fun. We gave our DJ an outline of what we wanted to hear, but at the same time gave her the opportunity to read the crowd, and play what she thought would be the most appropriate for different times of the evening. In short, we let her just do her thing, with some specific songs / tracks to be played at certain times. She did a phenomenal job. Everything was spot on, and really helped make our day a truly magical experience. Would highly revommend.
DJ Casey came to the rescue at our wedding. Our DJ that was previously booked from another vendor cancelled just a few hours before our ceremony. Within 2 hours of calling Stumptown, he was at our venue setting up. He seamlessly executed every request. We had created a very specific theme of music for our dinner service (instrumental video game and movie themes) and he not only got every song we requested, but added several others that fit the theme perfectly. We were so impressed with his professionalism and willingness to take on our event with such short notice. We will be highly recommending Stumptown and DJ Casey to all of our friends and family!
DJ Benni did an amazing job for our wedding at Maple Leaf Events. He worked closely with our day of coordinator, caterer, photographer, and videographer to ensure everything was on schedule and running smooth. We had a phone meeting with him the week before to review our timeline and playlist. He was very accommodating and worked effortlessly to make sure he had the perfect song cuts for our key moments. He even checked in with my dad (FOTB) day of to make sure the father daughter dance song was cut the way he wanted it to be. The sound quality and set up was perfect. Dj Benni was an absolute professional and we were incredibly impressed with him, and Stumptown as a whole. We would recommend this company to anyone looking for a dj service that will also help keep your wedding on schedule. Not only did Benni keep the music flowing, but he kept everyone on schedule with a smile on his face the whole time!

Matt was SO helpful in the planning stages of our wedding to the point I don’t know what we would’ve done without him! The platform Stumptown uses for music selection and day-of timeline planning is easy and fun to use! There were even a few obscure songs that we wanted played that weren’t in the database and Matt was able to locate them without any hesitation or issue. On the day-of, Matt was attentive, helpful, kind, and even helped out make a last-minute change to our reception timeline. DJ Omar at Stumptown DJs is the best. We had a little bit of an odd mix of guests and music requests as we had to blend some Jewish traditions in with latin music but Omar was more than up to the task and was also able to make announcements in both Spanish and English for us. Omar was organized and thoughtful in our pre-wedding conversations and helped to make sure we had our plan for the music, ceremony and reception all set to go. (and the Stumptown DJ online platform helped us get organized). Having a great dance party was a goal for us and suffice to say that we received many compliments from our guests about Omar's ability to keep the party going. It was a hell of a dance party and you would all be lucky to have Omar leading your party.
DJ Omar knew exactly how to blend Spanish and English music so that everyone at our wedding was happy and dancing the whole time! People told us it was one of the funnest weddings they had every been to thanks to him. Great at communicating, friendly, and a good price. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

I cannot say enough good things about Casey! Casey was our DJ for our September 2021 wedding at the Sentinel. Although I didn't spend a ton of time with Casey as compared to my other vendors, he was one of my favorites to work with. He is the ultimate professional--super communicative, knows exactly how to organize the evening, has great suggestions, and keeps the music going. We had a really diverse crowd with different music tastes. Our guests had an awesome time and the dance floor was always full! THANK YOU for doing such a wonderful job!
