Erika was amazing!!! She was extremely skilled and professional! She was whipping out her camera left and right (literally) and found the best lightning possible at a more challenging venue. She was also able to gather 40 family members multiple times for group pictures and we are so grateful for that. Above all, she truly listened to us about what we wanted and gave us so much confidence when taking pictures (which is saying a lot considering I don’t like taking pictures haha). She captured so many beautiful moments and we could not be happier with her services. We will definitely be recommending her to others and booking her again ourselves!

Erika was very patient and explained the process the whole way through. She is prompt in her responses and was always willing to hop on a call if there was confusion. I am an anxious person and she definitely helped calm my nerves. She also kept us on our timeline for the wedding day without feeling like we were rushing any part. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for photography for their big day!

Raised by a teacher, stories have always been woven deeply into the tapestry of my life. It's that love for story that informs my work both as a wedding photographer, and a commercial photographer. Weddings provide an interesting insight into the story of the couples I am fortunate enough to work with, it's exciting to be a part of the closing of one chapter and the opening of the next for my couples. Even after over 3 years in the industry, the uniqueness of these stories still surprises me.

ely impressed by the photos posted on the page. What I really loved was how the photos were so stunning and captured the moment.
I reached out and received a quick response from Erika Pitts, Lead Photographer and Owner. She promptly provided information about the business, and how everything would work. She gave us detailed (extremely reasonable) pricing, and a clear contract. All information provided was very transparent and straight forward. We booked SL Images and Design right away, and Erika walked us through all the advanced arrangements.
Right before the wedding, Erika held an in-depth meeting with us to go over all our final wishes. We explained what groups we wanted together and when, along with our couple’s shots and candid’s.
Erika is an absolute pro! She arrived on time, and quickly got set up for our ceremony and vows. She made sure everyone was comfortable and at ease while she took photos. She was extremely organized, and professional. All our wedding party enjoyed working with Erika, and so did we.
Roger and I cannot say enough good things about SL Images and Design Photography, and specifically Erika Pitts. I would recommend her with no hesitation to any couple looking for that special touch with their wedding and reception photos. We are so extremely happy with all our photos; they captured our special day perfectly.

r hoped for. I had shared a full vision board and tons of inspiration photos with them ahead of time, and they took the time to understand exactly what I was going for. They went above and beyond to recreate every single shot— even doing things like climbing up to the attic to get a bird’s-eye view of our guests and making sure we caught the most perfect golden-hour sunset photos. They also kept us on schedule (no small feat on a wedding day!) while still building in little breaks and moments for us to breathe and take it all in. It honestly felt like they were part photographers, part good vibes crew — they set the tone for the day in the best way possible. The final photos are absolutely stunning. Our photos are absolutely beautiful and we received over a thousand photos within a month of the wedding. Erika was available via email to help us when we had an issue with our link. ut choosing to hold my wedding in Missouri. When I saw her website and her dramatic style she automatically went to the top of my list and we are so happy that she was available for us. To be honest, after meeting her, I thought she was a bit disarming. We went with it and found that she had a passion to match her talent. Her Personality was laid back and turned out to be a perfect fit on the wedding day.
On our big day she was prompt and she was focused, professional and attentive behind the lens and tried really hard to keep us relaxed during all the bits in between. Group shots were super smooth and efficient, then individual shots with my wife were just a blast.
