I began looking for a photographer on the knot to provide the wedding photography for my now husband Roger and me. When I came across Style in Light Images and Design, I was extremely impressed by the photos posted on the page. What I really loved was how the photos were so stunning and captured the moment.
I reached out and received a quick response from Erika Pitts, Lead Photographer and Owner. She promptly provided information about the business, and how everything would work. She gave us detailed (extremely reasonable) pricing, and a clear contract. All information provided was very transparent and straight forward. We booked SL Images and Design right away, and Erika walked us through all the advanced arrangements.
Right before the wedding, Erika held an in-depth meeting with us to go over all our final wishes. We explained what groups we wanted together and when, along with our couple’s shots and candid’s.
Erika is an absolute pro! She arrived on time, and quickly got set up for our ceremony and vows. She made sure everyone was comfortable and at ease while she took photos. She was extremely organized, and professional. All our wedding party enjoyed working with Erika, and so did we.
Roger and I cannot say enough good things about SL Images and Design Photography, and specifically Erika Pitts. I would recommend her with no hesitation to any couple looking for that special touch with their wedding and reception photos. We are so extremely happy with all our photos; they captured our special day perfectly.

Erika was truly amazing! She was great to work with right from the beginning. I had never planned a wedding before and she was so helpful with planning a timeline that worked best for the photography. She always responded promptly with any questions I had up to the big day. On the wedding day she was so warm and friendly and instantly made me feel comfortable. She felt like part of the family! She helped direct us and was thorough in helping us pose the best. We received the pictures in less than three weeks and they were breathtaking! All of our guests love our wedding photos and she truly captured some special moments with every guest that everyone will cherish. And all of this at a great price. I could not reccomend her enough!

I 100% recommend hiring Erika! She was absolutely amazing to work with. We had several phone conversations leading up to the wedding to work out the details and we came up with a great timeline. She was so nice and professional. And the pictures I received? Absolutely stunning! I cannot stop going through them. I honestly cannot find favorites between them because I love them all so much! Absolutely amazing experience!
Erika was amazing from day one! She not only captured amazing engagement photos for us, but really listened and was attentive to what our vision for the wedding photos was! She brought along a second photographer and assisted with directing people, places, perfect shots for our first look and was genuinely happy for the occasion. Where do I begin...? Just WOW! I chose Erika as our photographer because her pictures were stunning online, but she completely blew my expectations out of the water!! We just received our photos back and I am in love with every single one. As someone with body issues, I was worried about seeing the pictures, but I feel so beautiful in them and am so pleased that Erika's photos make me feel so good about myself! Erika and her team were wonderful to work with - Erika was very hands on with helping to plan the day and the best photography spots, and on the day they were great at capturing all the sweetest and most beautiful moments! The couple portraits were our absolute favorite - my husband and I are not keen on taking photos normally, and she made us feel so natural and comfortable in front of the camera! I can’t put into words how happy we are with our wedding photos. Erika did a great job that day and also prior. She also helped us choose a location to take our outdoor photos and went to the location prior to the wedding to ensure that this was the perfect location for us. Our photos are absolutely beautiful and we received over a thousand photos within a month of the wedding. Erika was available via email to help us when we had an issue with our link. Not only did she resolve this quickly but she did so during a holiday weekend.

I spent a long time researching wedding photographers as I was from a different state but choosing to hold my wedding in Missouri. When I saw her website and her dramatic style she automatically went to the top of my list and we are so happy that she was available for us. To be honest, after meeting her, I thought she was a bit disarming. We went with it and found that she had a passion to match her talent. Her Personality was laid back and turned out to be a perfect fit on the wedding day.
On our big day she was prompt and she was focused, professional and attentive behind the lens and tried really hard to keep us relaxed during all the bits in between. Group shots were super smooth and efficient, then individual shots with my wife were just a blast.

My husband Mike and I, hired Erika for our wedding on September 6th, and she was incredible! She went out of her way to make sure we had the most amazing experience. Despite the fact that she drove over 4 hours in the rain to get to our venue by 8:00am, and the fact that it rained for the majority of our day, we got the most beautiful memories captured in our photos. She is amazing working with large bridal parties, (we had 20 people!), but she still made sure to keep everyone included. We felt so special, and she captured all of the best moments. Erika is professional, kind, and just an outstanding person to work with, and I would highly recommend her to any person out there looking for a photographer who will give a very heartfelt, and personable experience.
At first it seemed that Erika was really excited to photograph our wedding, but when we got the pictures it seemed like all she did photographed was the bear minimum and I felt like there was a lot that was left out from the day. We also told her where we wanted out first look and when I arrived, she had not positioned my husband where I asked her to do it. However, it was too late to request to move and the pictures came out horrible. Although she gave us a great deal, I would have rather spent more money instead of regretting my decision now.

We shared in your vision for your first look, unfortunately, the river dock location that you selected was unavailable on the day. It was privately owned and had been partitioned from public access. We were required to modify the groom's placement. We felt the final placement was still a beautiful angle to capture the setting. I apologize that it differed from the way you had originally envisioned it.
Our review found that we captured images from start to close without pause. Our service time was quietly extended (in courtesy) by one hour to ensure we could complete your wedding album by including your wedding exit.
Your feelings are legitimate and I would like to ensure that we are giving the best to you and to every client. I have reached out to set up a meet in an appropriate venue so that we can gain more context and see what we can do to help.
Her wedding package was a great value. She provided amazing service for our 12 hour wedding ! Our wedding was held in the Seattle area and even with travel it was a great deal - we had no problems !!
I hired Erika for our wedding day a few months ago. She is a very humble photographer. Initially we were unconvinced of her skill as a photorapher, however, on our wedding day, we figured we had no choice but to go with her suggestions. We were glad we did. She was spot on! Pictures reflected a high level of professionalism. Everything went perfectly. I would not hesitate to hire her again.

I'm so lucky I found Style In Light. I chatted with Erika and I could tell she was a professional with a great eye. let me be clear- i wantd someone who was an actual photographer and she fit the bill. She does this full time. Photography is her life. I shared with her my vision and she worked with me. We met and she also scoped out the venue. She had a schedule and made the day easy! She was ghefe early and was ready to capture every moment. Erika caught all the shots I was looking for and had pics for me to view within 2 weeks. She did a fabulous job editing and all pictures look amazing! I just ordered a canvas from a third party and they contacted me to ask who did MY photos. We couldn't be happier!
Erika is such a talented photographer and just an overall humbly and great person. She listened to our vision from the very beginning and worked with us to make sure every detail was ironed out. She was very laid back . During our engagement sessions she taught me some body positive poses and helped me to feel comfortable in front of the camera.

We hired Erika to shoot our wedding a little over one year ago. She was a new photographer then and she was Amazing. The logistics of our wedding was complicated as we had 75 guests arriving from around the country to spend four days with us and we wanted captures of the entire story. She worked with our planner, and with our family to bring everything together perfectly. Everyone loved her.
At the wedding, she produced some great shots and delivered them VERY quickly so that we could share the highlights with the family before they returned home! Highly Recommend.
