I jumped and booked her because I knew I wanted her to do my hair and makeup the day of my wedding. I even hired her to style me for both my bridal shower and rehearsal dinner! I had quite a large wedding party getting ready with me (15 women) which was a little bit of a concern for me because I was slightly stressed on whether we would be ready on time and have enough stylist for everyone. But after talking with Elvie, she was able to get a large enough team to come the day of and style everyone with time. When it came time to do my hair and makeup the day of, having Elvi there was such a calming presence that I never felt worried or stressed at any point. She is so talented that I literally trust her with anything. She constantly checked in with me throughout to make sure I was okay and happy with how it was coming out. Because I did my shower, rehearsal, and trials with her, by the time it came to my wedding she already knew what I was looking for. I absolutely LOVED how my hair and makeup came out and it lasted the entire night!! I loved how my mom, sister, MIL, and bridesmaids looked the day of and I was so happy that everyone was happy with their hair and makeup. Elvi and her team were incredible! I recommend Elvi over and over again and would hire her for all events!!!

A few weeks before the wedding I reached out because my hairstylist needed help doing hair for everyone and Elvi quickly made the changes to the schedule and offered to help. Her presence was the best and her talent just the same! She made me feel absolutely stunning. She would check in with me to make sure I was happy with everything before finalizing so we can make changes as we went. She listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better team. My mom, MIL, and bridesmaids all looked STUNNING too. They all loved their look. Will be using Elvi for everything in the future.

At our hair and makeup trial, she listened and jotted down all things we went over and her demeanor and relatability made me relax completely and let her show her talents. I was IN LOVE with the job she had done, so beautiful, so natural and so on point to what I had shown her and talked about. The day of the wedding her team and herself all had that same special vibe that put everyone at ease and wowed us all yet again. My hair and makeup were just as beautiful as the first time if not more and was all done so seemingly effortless and calm that it really helped those pre wedding nerves. Elvi is such a beautiful and talented soul that I am so happy to have had as my hair and makeup artist during such a special day. P.s she also took aaaamazing photos of the bridal party and myself while getting ready and played us the best throwback playlist that had all my bridesmaids dancing and having fun the whole time! Her and her team felt like part of the bridal party rather than vendors and it really made the whole experience special. 100% would recommend if you want more than just ordinary hair and makeup!

She was one of the few vendors I booked so early! Elvi stayed in touch with me during the process, and her communication is flawless. For my bridal shower, one of her assistants, Krystal, absolutely KILLLLLLED IT. Fast forward to my bridal trial the week of my wedding and the day of my final fitting. HOLY SMOKES. I was blown away, Elvi looked at some of my inspirations and asked me questions then went to work. 3 hours of awesome conversation and music and I looked amazingly beautiful. On the day of my wedding Elvi & Krystal did not disappoint. I felt the MOST beautiful I have ever felt and all the girls looked amazing. Elvi stayed to help with my dress and thank god she did!!!! Elvi was more than just a vendor, she truly wants to make sure your wedding day is your best day! My makeup stayed on all night - between 3 different crying sessions, rain, and dance sweat. l that I wanted a trial before I made a decision. After two weeks of going back and fourth she gave me a few dates to schedule a trial and we decided on Friday, January 3rd. On November 30 she contacted me because she booked someone else on January 3rd so she rescheduled my trial to January 16th. Today, on January 8th she contacted me because another bride inquired about my wedding date and she wanted me to sign the contract or I could lose the date. I was caught off guard because since October 29th I have told her I wanted a trial before I made a decision. She was not very understanding or accommodating about the situation and at this point I’m nervous she will eventually flake even if I do sign the contract. I decided to cancel, disappointed to say the least.

and she was definitely one of the best decisions I made! I was styled by Elvi for my engagement photoshoot, my bridal shower, and my wedding. Three different looks and all absolutely gorgeous! My hair and makeup lasted perfectly all night. Not only is she a great hairstylist/makeup artist but she is down to earth and is just fun and easy to talk to while getting glammed up. I recommend Elvi highly and will definitely be using her for all my future events.

I did a lot of research on my own of countless South Florida hair/makeup artists and no one impressed me nearly as much as her, so I started looking into pricing thinking hers must be the priciest. Quite the opposite, she offers more (and better) for her very fair price than any other artist I looked into. So I booked her for a hair/makeup trial and for my wedding day. Elvi is one of the coolest, most genuine humans I’ve had the pleasure to meet and she’s the best kind of vibes, the kind you want to surround yourself with, especially on your wedding day. My trial with her went great, she has the cutest, most relaxing studio, and she gave the absolute best recommendations to all of my questions – where do I get the best spray tan, hair extensions, and facial. While this wasn’t necessarily my expectation - I say with the sincerest heart that I have never, ever, felt more beautiful in my whole life than I did on my wedding day, and I will never forget the way that felt, especially as I walked toward my groom for the first time. For that I will always be grateful to Elvi. Will continue to go back to her for any special hair/makeup needs!

r the wedding. I had already given her a deposit to save my date more than a year before. Unfortunately my wedding was postponed due to Hurricane Dorian. I did not choose this, the venue (The Walton House) closed due to high winds and having to relocate all the animals on the property. So I advised Lauren but she let me know that she didn’t have any Saturday available until March. We originally paid for a Sunday because it was Labor Day weekend. The venue now offered us a Saturday due to the inconvenience and we would not have to pay the difference. I let Lauren know that due to the circumstances I would need my deposit back and I would proceed with another artist that could accommodate me on a my new date. Her contract states word for word “ CANCELLATION POLICY YOU MAY CANCEL YOUR SERVICES AT ANY TIME. YOUR DEPOSIT HOWEVER, IS NON-REFUNDABLE. IN THE EVENT OF SICKNESS, ACCIDENT, ACT OF GOD, OTHER REASONS BEYOND CONTROL, OR THE ARTIST IS SUBJECT TO UNAVAILABILITY, EFFORTS WILL BE MADE TO ASSIST YOU IN MAKING OTHE ARRANGEMENTS AND YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE REFUNDED”. A hurricane to my understanding is an act of God. It is not created by man kind and we are unable to control its path. Again I did not cancel, the venue did for safety purposes. Lauren refused to refund my deposit. I made all efforts to choose a date that would work for her but I could not wait till March. Also due to my work schedule and having my fiancé’s children living 6 hours from us, it made impossible to have my wedding on a Friday or Sunday. My last resort would be to choose a Sunday that is on a holiday weekend or the following Monday has no school. At no point did she make an effort to try and find a solution. She did not make an effort to assist me in making other arrangements. In the end, she refunded me after I pleaded my case. I am happy that this occurred and I didn’t go through with her services because she showed her true colors. At the end of the day, she is running a business and she had no compassion for what I was going through. Her customer service sucked!!! She only added more stress and tears to my situation.

She’s incredible. I booked Elvi for my wedding day and right from the start she was so great with answering any questions I had and also answering in a timely manner. I loved how honest she was and how organized she was - this girl knows how to run a business. I scheduled my trial for 6 weeks before my wedding and on a day my mom would be in from out of town, that day was perfect! Elvi asked me exactly what look I was going for, she gave me options and opinions and just was so easy to work with. I loved that I was able to show her pictures and she got it, I trusted her to add her own touch to it and it came out perfect. I thought it was also really sweet that she takes care of her clients - we ordered lunch to her studio and she just was very welcoming and relaxed. My mom and I went home that day as happy as could be, I knew my wedding day look was totally taken care of and there was no need to worry. Fast forward 6 weeks, I had a crazy situation happen and ended up getting a last minute new wedding dress...of course that had my head spinning with new hair and make up ideas. I had reached out to Elvi in advance and she was super calm and also helpful in regards to the minor changes I was considering. She even found me the best hairdresser who we both get our extensions and color done with. On top of that, I woke up on the day of my wedding to the most insanely windy day and horrible thunderstorms...the weather no bride dreams of on her wedding day. We all showed up to my venue - wet - and worse, no power. Even though I was dying inside, Elvi and her two girls, Kelly and BC, showed up so calm and so relaxed...I had no choice but to do the same. Within 30 minutes the power came on and the weather started easing up. All of my bridesmaids started getting their hair and make up done, then I started with Elvi, and even though we had a late start, not once did any of us feel rushed. The girls took their time with all of us and even did touch ups. They were fun, chill, relaxed and super sweet. When I sat down in the chair to start my hair and make up I was very calm and knew I didn’t have to worry about anything. What I didn’t know, was that Elvi was going to literally out-do herself. If I told you I was blown away at my trial, then I was out of this world happy on my wedding day. She made me look like and feel the most beautiful I have ever looked and felt in my entire life. I was beyond in love with my hair and make up, I don’t even think I could have asked for anything to be different. I really appreciated that she stuck around with me to kind of touch up any little things once I had my dress and shoes on. She’s so sweet and really cares about her clients! Elvi and her team are ridiculously talented at what they do and I would recommend her to any bride looking for the best on her wedding day. BOOK HER! They all ended up being very underwhelming experiences. Then, some time ago, I started following Lauren on Instagram, and saw that she had a way of making all her clients look gorgeous and confident, so I IG-stalked her for about a year, until I decided to contact her for a makeup and hair trail for my Mom and me as my wedding was coming up in February 2018. From the minute we walked into her studio, Lauren made us feel like we were all best friends. Her calm but fun demeanor even made my Mom feel at ease. She let me express myself with my vision for both my hair and makeup, I showed her some ideas that I had saved on my Pinterest, and she blew my expectations away by the time my trial was over. She made my Mom and I feel like queens (and my Mom is not too keen about wearing makeup). I booked her immediately, didn't even think about finding someone else for a trial. On my wedding day, she made the trek to my farm, and just blended in with my family and pets. She was able to give both my Mom and me a natural/soft/glam makeup look without everything being overpowering. She even managed to make my hair into a beautiful mane of soft curls with a braided updo that meshed perfectly with a hairclip my Mom made for me. My hair and makeup lasted for hours, late into the night, and withstood the afternoon heat. All of my pictures came out perfectly, and I couldn't have achieved it without her. I will always make sure to stay in touch with her for years to come!

After my trial, I started to wonder if I should go a little more bold with my glam and possibly wear my hair up. These decisions were so much more difficult than I could have anticipated and Elvi was available every step of the way to give her feedback and help me figure this out. Even more so, Elvi set aside additional time for me the day of my wedding to make sure we could really discuss my vision and bring it to life. Ultimately, my hair and makeup were absolutely flawless. I received compliments all night long and most importantly, I felt beautiful!

If by chance you don’t like something (lipstick, lashes, etc) she will fix it for you without hesitation. On my wedding day she made me feel relax and all she had to say were positive things. We had to change our schedule less than a month before the wedding and I just texted her and in less than 3 days the new schedule was sent to my email. She has some other makeup artists working with her in case the wedding party is more than a certain amount of people. Kelly was the one to work with her on my wedding and she is great. I can’t thank Elvi enough. She is awesome.
