Style Points DJs is a wedding DJ and entertainment service based in Farmington, CT. DJ Matt brings years of performance experience to every private celebration. Professional and personable, we strive to craft bespoke musical experiences tailored to fit every couple's vision.
Since 2016, we have provided the soundtrack to over 200 different weddings. Though mainly specializing in pop, hip-hop, throwbacks, and dance music, we can accommodate musical requests from any genre and use professional-grade equipment for every celebration. We have worked with couples of all backgrounds, including Jewish, Indian, Asian, Polish, Greek, LGBTQ+, and more. You can also discuss custom playlists and do-not-play lists to ensure your expectations are exceeded.
We avoid cringe-worthy MC personas or over-the-top antics, preferring to keep it classy with professional live DJ mixing that will bring your dance floor to life. Similarly, we avoid played-out "wedding music" that can make a crowd yawn. We prefer to keep it fresh and dynamic for each crowd we cater to.

Hi! My name is Matt, owner of Style Points DJs. I began DJing in 2016 with my friend Jerry after discovering a mutual love for electronic dance music from the likes of Zedd, Martin Garrix, and Hardwell. I've found an overwhelming passion in DJing and event coordinating, so much so that I worked tirelessly to do it full-time. I believe that the DJ is the cornerstone of your wedding team, and I do everything in my power to make sure that I can make the vision of your wedding into a reality. I consider myself a "modern DJ". This means no tacky games, lame songs, or obnoxious MC-ing. I have an extensive knowledge of all relevant music genres with a willingness to learn and try new things. I avoid playing it safe with the same playlist you've heard at every other wedding - instead curating music to each individual crowd. No two crowds are the same, and I believe by putting my time into extensive planning for each event that I am able to realize the full potential of any wedding. I also work with my couples throughout the entirety of the process from booking 'til wedding day to ensure comfortability and preparedness in every aspect.
