Taking cues from the beautiful desert landscape that she grew up in, Shelby has developed a bohemian spirit. In addition, she looks to the rolling waves of the beaches she now lives by as further inspiration for the looks she crafts. She graduated from the Bellus Academy and holds numerous certifications. Now, through Shelby Nicole Hair & Makeup, she helps soon-to-be newlyweds look and feel their best.

helby was able to give all of us the looks we were hoping for. She was honest about areas she had less experience in but willing to spend extra time during the trial to make sure she was getting the look right - this self awareness and honesty is hard to come by! In addition to being an excellent stylist, she was a calm presence during the wedding chaos itself. Our wedding planner was less than stellar the day of (and actually ended up leaving early without telling us!) - Shelby was around because we kept her for makeup touch ups after the ceremony and before pictures. She went above and beyond helping with tasks that the coordinator should have been doing, but never missing a beat with her primary role. Within 5 minutes, she had texted me saying she was with a client but had listened to my message and would call me soon. That’s when I knew her customer service would be 10/10. As for my wedding day, she did mine (the bride) and my maid of honors hair and makeup. She also did my mom’s makeup which was added on super last minute, but Shelby was so sweet and accommodating about it. Her prices are great and the EYE MAKEUP IS WOW!!!!! My face ended up looking super natural (which I wanted) and I got tons of compliments on my hair. She was also just really cool to have around.
