If this was our bride's first bridal appointment, it would have RUINED wedding dress shopping for her! Thankfully she had amazing experiences at other boutiques and this was the on...
ly disappointment.
The receptionist showed us to the room and mentioned to our bride that they are understaffed, the rain is delaying people, and that our stylist will be with us shortly. We said we were OK with waiting but the stylist never came. Our bride told the receptionist that she prefers a-line and cat-eye necklines, within 10 minutes, she brought the dresses in. She told the bride in the changing room that she never does this. WE CAN TELL! She brought in mermaid dresses, failed to clip in the bride, didnt say anything except if shes ready to change dresses.This is not the receptionist's fault, but its been over 15 minutes since our start time so where is the actual stylist? and why are you telling us you've never done this but are STILL doing it???
After the second dress, out bride asked if we can communicate with the boutique team to get dresses that she actually likes, maybe some that she saw when she browsed. We found 1 and asked the receptionist if she can try it, and she said sure. Another employee, Hope (?), was at the front desk and said that dress is $5k and out of her budget, you should ask her if she wants to try it on bc we dont want to break her heart. At this point the boutique was empty and we did not see any other employees or stylists.
When our bride came out in the third dress, we were asking how she was feeling when the random employee (hope) appeared. She did not introduce herself to the bride, she stood next to the mirror and asked if shes been to other appointments, what shops, etc. She mentioned there is a sister shop in orange that has the "trendy" neckline our bride is looking for. She said her shop has a different buying experience, where designers are more "classic" and only release one collection a year, and that the other shop is better for our budget. She walked away saying That's just my opinion! The receptionist asked what we wanted to do then, and we chose to end the appointment.
Our bride really liked the first dress, but after our experience, we will not be shopping here or at the sister store (Maison Mariee by TC in orange).
TLDR: It was a waste of time - we never saw our stylist and a random employee told us to go to their sister store for trendy pieces within our budget since we cannot afford their classic dresses. Unorganized and unprofessional, and would not recommend.

dresses for me that I hadn’t even considered and encouraged me to try on various styles just to get a better handle of what I actually liked. The process was so lovely and I ended up with the most amazing dress.
The cleaners they recommended me to did a lovely job cleaning the dress.
Same with alterations! I used their recommended seamstress that is not in store and she did a phenomenal job! I got my dress sample sale and you never would have known! It fit like a glove and looked like it was made for me!

in. It was a classic bridal boutique experience you would hope for, up until the alterations. I wish I had checked the reviews before trusting that the alterations would be as excellent as the sales process was. What a huge disappointment and waste of time and money. Esther, the alterations person seems like she's been altering wedding gowns for a long time and is over it; she gets you in, and gets you out. If you blink, you'll miss how awful your dress looks. She'll do the bare minimum job for a high price. I was so sad with how my dress turned out - it was a mermaid style dress and so gorgeous when I tried it on with the clips before the sale. After alterations, it looked so low quality, it was baggy around the toosh and the bustle was positioned so poorly, it was pulling the dress booty making it look frumpy and the bustle was held up with a tiny little cheap looking metal hook that had way too much weight on it. This expensive dress that looked so glamorous when I tried it on, looked futzy after the alterations. I felt so uncomfortable to say anything because the alterations person was going on and on about how great it looked and how pleased she was with how it turned out. I felt like we were looking at different dresses. There is no quality control and its so awkward for a non-bridezilla, wedding dress fit/style non-expert like me to say "hey, this looks really bad and right now I cant put my finger on what's wrong, can we try again". The boutique allows you to come back for more alterations, but I had such a bad experience with Esther and how she seemed like she's on autopilot to finish your dress and get you out, I didnt want to take a chance by giving her my dress again with the clock ticking on the wedding date coming up. I also didnt trust her eye since she thought that awful bustle and mermaid fit looked so wonderful. Yikes. I took the dress to a different alterations place, they took one look at it and knew exactly how to fix the bustle. They put 3 lovely buttons instead of 1 cheapy hook to distribute the weight of the dress bustle more evenly. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time to finish all the alteration fixes and have the hips/toosh taken-in in time for the wedding, so I spent all that money on this once-in-a-lifetime designer dress that looked like it didnt fit me properly. It was so disappointing and when I look at the photos, I cringe. I highly recommend not using Styled by TC alterations service. Very high price for poor quality alterations and no one performing quality control or offering customer service. Its just you and Esther.

actly what you'd hope for - fun, exciting, light hearted, and very special. The boutique itself is small but has a large selection of dresses. I felt comfortable with our stylist Hope immediately. She made the whole shopping experience so fun and memorable for myself, my mom, my mother-in-law, and my maid of honor.
I also used the boutique's alterations services. It's easy to make the dress shopping experience fun and special, but the alterations are really where the stresses of a wedding dress can become apparent. The team at Styled by TC made my dress absolutely beautiful. My bustle was easy to figure out, the hem was perfect and the dress truly fit me like a glove. Every little thing I pointed out during my alterations appointment were handled with respect and not with any ounce of down-playing.
The shop is beautiful and the ladies who work there go out of their way to make your experience wonderful from try-on to pick-up.

They measured them while they were in store and had them sign their bridesmaid contracts then. They also made it easy for the rest of my girls to send in their measurements and return their contracts via email. One of my bridesmaids was unsure about sizing and called and chatted with the girls who helped her figure out her appropriate size. I wanted to pay for the first $100 for each of my girls dresses and Emily and made it so easy to do! Everything about working with Styled by TC made the process of getting bridesmaids dresses easier, and I can't wait to go back to pick out my flower girls' dresses and some accessories!
