I booked Marcella for my October 2023 wedding after reading amazing reviews about her. Right away, she was so responsive with emails and answered any question I had right away. I finally got to meet Marcella at my hair trial and we hit it off right away. She is such a genuinely kind person and it felt like I was talking to an old friend. She listened to everything I wanted for my hair during my trial and tried different things when I asked. The morning of my wedding, I decided I wanted to change things from my trial, and she executed it perfectly. Marcella also did my mom's and two sisters' hair and she crushed it. She was a wonderful presence the morning of our wedding - cannot recommend Marcella enough!

Marcella is an absolute dream!! From our first call, to our emails back + forth and the hair trial - she was so warm and welcoming and felt like an immediate friend. The day of the wedding was no different, it was so much fun to have her there. My hair and makeup were PERFECT and all my girls were stunning as well. I cannot recommend her enough - all of the 5 star reviews are truly a testament to how talented and wonderful she is!

Oh my goodness, Marcella is the absolute best!!! Not only did my hair come out even better than I could have imagined, Marcella made the whole process a breeze. At my hair trial I wasn’t sure what style to go with for my wedding day. Marcella made me feel comfortable with not knowing and was super flexible with me deciding my style the day off!! She is beyond sweet and so fun to talk to and the results were incredible. My entire bridal party was so happy with how their hair turned out. Marcella is my absolute favorite person in the whole world. She started cutting and coloring my hair 2 years before my wedding and brought it back to life! It grows like a weed now! For my trial she basically copied the photo I showed her it was so impressive! Not only is she talented but she’s just such a genuine and wonderful person! I was texting her so much not just with hair stuff but pretty much any vent session I had. She’s like the best friend I didn’t know I needed I actually had a complete breakdown in her chair the week before my wedding over my wedding dress and she talked me down so good! But let’s talk about my wedding day! I cannot believe how beautiful I looked and felt! I wanted volume and my girl gave me volume! Everything she did was just stunning! One of my best decisions was picking her as my hair girl All of my girls hair looked perfect! Even my sister (who is incredibly hard to please) loved her hair style Marcella is just incredibly talented and I don’t think there’s any other words I can say to even describe that talent or what a genuine and thoughtful and beautiful person she is

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing Marcella is!! She was so great to work with through the whole process and knew exactly what I was envisioning for my big day. She is also THE sweetest person I have ever met. My hair and makeup came out better than I ever would have imagined and made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day :) My bridesmaids that she styled had so many amazing things to say about her as well. Marcella is AWESOME, she hyped me up in the morning and my hair held up all night for my wedding!!! She is kind, flexible, efficient, patient, and really listens to her clients. Where do I even start with this one? I am super delayed just because there was a wedding and then the holidays but I had to make sure I got this posted. Marcella was recommended to me immediately when I said I was looking for someone to do my hair who could do the softer style I was looking for. After checking out her insta and falling in love with her style I knew I had to contact her. From the very first email, Marcella was literally the sweetest person in the world. I booked with her immediately and once I realized she also had her own salon, I reached out to her about getting to work on restoring my hair to its former health. I, like so many people, did a little home salon-ing during covid and that was..... not good. Not only did Marcella guide me to repairing my hair health and correcting my color, we were able to get it to almost twice its length with proper products and care in the year before my wedding. She is a total miracle worker. Needless to say, regardless of the wedding, I am a loyal Styles by Marcella client, forever! BUT, she also completely killed my wedding hairstyle. I was no easy customer. I kept changing my mind and was never quite sure what I wanted. We had a trial style in mind and I totally flipped the script on that. But Marcella took every single thing I wanted into account and rolled with the punches. She made me feel beautiful on my wedding day and my hair was stunning. All of my bridesmaid looked amazing, as well, and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Not only is Marcella amazing at her craft, she is the kindest, sweetest, easiest person to talk to. She truly was my therapist through all of the wedding planning nonsense and I know I made a lifelong friend in this process. I am so grateful to have met her. Marcella was probably one of my favorite vendors. I felt like I made a really good friend. I knew from the start I wanted those vintage glam waves and so my research began. I had another trial which didn’t come out as expected, some people weren’t available, and some people just didn’t answer me so I started my search yet again all to find the amazing Marcella ! I knew before her even touching my hair that she would be my person 💕 she answered me within hours, was patient, reasonable, kind, relatable and TALENTED AF! Marcella made me feel like a princess she not only did my hair for my wedding but my hair and make up for my bridal shower which she slayed. As for my wedding my hair did not move. It was everything I dreamed of. I can’t thank Marcella enough for all of her hard work and making my dreams come true.

Do not hesitate and book Marcella for your wedding day hair and make-up ASAP! She is extremely talented and in addition the sweetest human being I ever met. After seeing her beautiful work on instagram and countless 5 star reviews, I reached out to see if she was available for my wedding. Hiring Marcella was the best decision I made out of the entire wedding planning process. From day one, she was attentive and so positive. I felt like I had known her forever and could be up front with her in everything I was hoping for on the big day. The trial was so thorough and wonderful -- I had never worn extensions, lashes, or airbrush makeup, and she was so up front with me about cost, pros/cons for adding enhancements, etc. The day of, she and her assistant were efficient and professional, and such a joy to be around! Marcella even handled an almost disaster with one of my bridesmaid's curly hair, and still managed to make her hair stunning in the end. I was so sad to take my makeup off at the end of the night. I was amazed that it had lasted as long as it did -- even after all the Greek dancing at our wedding. I'm hoping that my sister in law chooses Marcella as her makeup and hair stylist, so she can do my hair and makeup again!

I can not say enough wonderful things about Marcella. From the moment I started following her on social media after booking her for my wedding, I was stunned by not only her beautiful work with hair and makeup, but also felt an amazing positive energy emanating from her that made me so excited to meet her. I was pretty anxious when my bridal trial was only 1 week before the big day, and definitely felt like like the pressure was on. But not only did the trial go amazing, she felt like someone I had known forever, and I was so excited to see her again. When the big day came, it was amazing to be surrounded by such a warm, calm, friendly and reassuring woman. And my hair and makeup came out even better than I could have ever imagined. I have never felt more beautiful in my life, and not only did it stay absolutely perfect the entire day and night, but when I woke up the next morning to catch an early flight for my honeymoon, it still looked just as it did the night before. Her entire team was amazing as well. Even my sisters and mom who can be a bit hard to please were more than impressed and could not have been happier. If you are thinking about booking Marcella, just stop thinking and DO IT!!! She will make you feel like a Queen and your most beautiful self. Marcella is the best!! I used her for my hair/make up on my wedding day, and I was getting compliments on it all night. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and not only did she nail the look, but she did it better than I could have ever imagined. The team she brought with her was incredible too, and everyone in the bridal party LOVED how everything turned out. She is so sweet, and easy to work with. Before the wedding she responded to emails very timely, and was so caring and easy to communicate with. On the day of, she kept everything on schedule and was a huge reason the morning was so fun and stress free. I could not say enough wonderful things about Marcella- she truly is amazing!

Absolutely amazing- Can’t say enough wonderful things about Marcella! I was so lucky to find her and have her style myself and my bridesmaids for my wedding on 9/30. She was so easy to communicate with and accommodating with scheduling from day 1 until the wedding itself. Marcella was so punctual, calming, sweet and patient on the morning of our wedding and truly made the day flow as smoothly as possible! Her talent is unmatched, and we all received / continue to receive compliments on our hair! I’ve truly never felt better and I have Marcella to thank! Absolutely obsessed - Marcella is amazing and I could not be happier with how everything turned out on my wedding. From the moment I started my hair trial, I knew I was in good hands. Marcella is so sweet and makes you feel so comfortable. On my wedding day, we had 13 girls getting their hair done - Marcella and her team were a pleasure to work with. Everything went so smooth and everyone looked amazing. My hair stayed perfect the entire night (over 12 hours) and I got so many compliments. Marcella is THE BEST! I got my hair done by Marcella for my wedding in June 2022. I loved my hair and was sooooo happy with how it came out. She is extremely personable and I enjoyed having her around and getting to know her. She was always so nice when responding to my emails and never seemed annoyed at answering my questions or my last minute changes. I was not that excited for my hair trial because I never felt super confident in my hair or how I should style it but she made me feel very comfortable and I was so happy I got that experience. We adjusted slightly from the hair trial and she absolutely KILLED IT. My hair was one of the highlights of my day - I truly felt beautiful. The rest of the girls also looked amazing and she was so kind to everyone. This is my first wedding review I have written and it is because it is easily the one that deserves the most credit. If I could do it again, I would 1000 percent use Marcella again for my wedding and am hoping to get my hair styled by her again some day :) I can not say enough good things about her - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

First off, Marcella is absolutely one of the sweetest most genuine people I’ve ever come across. I am typically introverted but every appointment I’ve had with her just flies by with good, fun conversation. She knows how to make you feel at ease and like you’re legitimately best friends. I needed a balayage (mine was grown out) and she recommended I go early-mid July. She is located in Westbury and I’m out East, and my schedule is crazy so I decided to just use the girl I had used last time for color. What could go wrong? I wanted a brown balayage, but got BLONDE highlights. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I emailed Marcella in a panic asking what to do. She opened her schedule up late for me one day to come get it fixed and she absolutely NAILED it. That was just above and beyond in my opinion. By the day of the wedding I was in love with the color, and she did an incredible job with the style! Not only that, all of my girls loved their hair and everyone’s hair stayed perfect all night. She is an absolute GEM and if you get the chance to book her, do it NOW.

Marcella is an absolute GEM! Not only did she do an insanely beautiful job on my hair, she offers so much moral support which was amazing! When I met her during my trial, I knew she was great person on top of being an amazing hair stylist. Thank you marcella for everything! So talented

Truly do not have enough good things to say about Marcella. She is the nicest and most talented hair stylist/MUA you will ever meet! She usually gets booked for hair only, but I can assure you her makeup skills are top notch as well - especially if you’re looking for a more subtle, natural look. There is a reason she gets booked for wedding hair so much, though - she’s a master! My updo was exactly what I wanted. She worked with me to turn my bits and pieces of an image into a reality. Additionally, her team (Sam, Dana, Lexi, and Ciara) was also crazy talented and efficient. All of my girls were done ahead of schedule, and I was done right on time! We had a call time of 5:00am, which was a little rough, but the hair and makeup team were all there right on time and ready to roll. They were truly perfect. Marcella is the epitome of professional, and seriously such a sweet person. She’s a great hype woman! And all of our hair and makeup held up perfectly throughout the day.

If you’re looking for an amazing hair stylist and makeup artist, Marcella is the girl for you!!! I had originally booked her for my June 2020 wedding which ultimately was postponed to May 2021. During the date change, Marcella was so easy to work with! She also did my hair and makeup for my bridal shower and it came out exactly how I imagined! My hair on my wedding day stayed perfect all night long. My bridesmaids still rave about the work Marcella does and will compare Marcella’s work to other hair stylists for weddings they have been in. I continue to go to Marcella now for haircuts and I am so happy I do! She has the sweetest soul and I always look forward to catching up with her during my appointment. If you’re looking for a makeup artist, or bridal hair stylist, Marcella is it!!

Marcella was amazing. We had the trial and I was a bit nervous because I didn't yet have my extensions and it didn't look exactly like I wanted for the wedding but she understood what I wanted and asked me to trust her for the big day. And boy did she come through! It was EXACTLY what I wanted and no lie my absolute favorite part of my wedding. Everyone commented on my hair. I loved it so much I kept it in for three days, which goes to show you this girl does not mess around and your hair will absolutely stay in place all night. Plus she was a pleasure to have in the small room we were all getting ready in.

Marcella was an absolute dream to work with! She was great from the very minute we made contact and very organized. During our trial, we tried 2 hairstyles and she followed up the next day asking what I liked and didn't like so it could be perfect for the wedding day. When our wedding came, so did a huge snowstorm and we had to postpone our wedding to the next day. Marcella was on board and willing to change the date for us with last minute notice. The day of my wedding, she coordinated a schedule for myself and my bridal party so everything ran smoothly. My hair turned out EXACTLY as I wanted and stayed for the entire night. My entire bridal party raved about Marcella and how they loved their hair. I look forward to booking with Marcella on any upcoming events!

I wish there was an option to give more than 5 stars to Marcella!!! I have natural curly hair and I was going to wear my hair natural in an up-do for my September wedding. Marcella created a beautiful soft up-do for me during my trial with my natural curls. As my wedding came closer I changed my mind 400x (as we all do) and decided to blowout my hair first to keep my up-do in tact. Day of we winged and I ended up with a gorgeous half up half down style with soft waves and a hair piece. My hair stayed all day through LOTS of dancing! Also, for all of my curly girls my mom kept her natural curls and Marcella enhanced them with her tiny wand (there is definitely a professional word for that) and she looked AMAZING. Marcella made my wedding morning extra special because I was oooing and ahing at all of my girls' fabulous hair after they left her chair. Aside from her obvious styling skills, Marcella is extremely professional and maybe the sweetest person I have ever met. There were no surprises she told me exactly what I needed to know and provided a schedule/instructions for each step. She was also very comforting and accommodating when we had to postpone due to covid and change our starting location to a different state. You have a lot of options when picking vendors and it can be overwhelming. Hiring Marcella for your beauty needs will ensure everyone in your party looks fabulous and your mind will be at ease because SHE'S GOT YOU!

Marcella is an MVP! She came bright an early to do all 7 girls hair on her own! She also answered all texts/emails quickly and helped to coordinate a morning-of timeline with my makeup artist, Angela. My hair held up PERFECTLY! Many of my friends were telling me at the end of the night that it looked like my hair was freshly done and the bridesmaids were so impressed with how well all of their hairstyles stayed the entire night also, once again through a heatwave and 2+ hours outside taking photos!! Her attention to detail is fantastic and she gave each of my girls the exact style they wanted, plus she was a great time to hang out with all day!

I can't begin to explain how much I love Marcella. I followed her work for a long time before booking her for my wedding hair. From the moment I booked up until days before the wedding, the communication was amazing! When I walked into her studio for my hair trial, she acted like we have known each other forever! She has such a loving, friendly, supportive and funny demeanor and it radiates in her studio! I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted, but I showed her a few photos of bits and pieces that I liked. When she turned me around and showed me my hair, I was literally speechless. She made the vision that I never knew I had, COME. TO. LIFE! Talented is an understatement. Marcella is hands-down the BEST stylist I have ever worked with! She's sweet, compassionate, and so full of life! She made me feel so comfortable during my trial, bridal shower and wedding day! She's full of positivity and I think that's really important for brides who are constantly stressed with the planning. Besides her bubbly personality, she's talented! My hair looked STUNNING and held ALL NIGHT (and let me tell you, I dance A LOT!) It was even still beautiful the day after- and the day after that! And she did our makeup so natural! I forgot I was even wearing makeup the entire night because it was so light and airy, and yet I had dramatic smokey eyes that again lastest all night! She's truly amazing and I already know I'll be working with her again in the future!

After following Marcella's work for years, I finally had the pleasure of working with her for my rehearsal dinner glam as she was already booked for my wedding date. She was extremely responsive to emails coordinating everything since I was a postponed bride and came early to do my hair and makeup and my mom's hair and makeup by herself. I was extremely indecisive about what I wanted my look to be, but once Marcella saw the dress I was going to wear she came up with the perfect hair and makeup combination. It even got my mom's stamp of approval — and that is pretty hard to get! She was able to get the both of our glam done perfectly — and quickly — and it lasted all night. I highly recommend Marcella and look forward to booking with her for other special occasions!

Marcella is an absolute gem!!! She is extremely talented in BOTH hair and makeup. She did my hair and makeup for my wedding day and it held up beautifully. Marcella and her team were absolutely incredible. I hired her for my wedding on 10/2. I cannot rave enough about how beautiful Marcella + team's work is, from hair to makeup - I felt like a million bucks. Marcella and her team juggled a large group of bridesmaids seamlessly, we all were done ahead of schedule, and every single girl raved about how much they loved their looks for the day. Marcella had amazing energy and her good vibes made us each feel comfortable, confident and beautiful. Hiring her was the best decision!

Cannot rave enough about Marcella. Not only so sweet and kind, she also is incredibly professional. The second stylist had to cancel a couple days before my event and Marcella got another make up artist immediately, adjusted the schedule and executed seamlessly. She also listened to everyone’s requests and gave everyone styles they loved. I’m so happy with the way my hair and makeup turned out - I wouldn’t change a single thing! She truly listened to what I wanted and was patient with me. My hair and makeup also lasted the entire evening (~10 hours). I cannot recommend Marcella highly enough!

Marcella is a miracle worker!!!! My hair looked INCREDIBLE for my wedding and lasted FOREVER! I was nervous about my hair staying because my hair is straight and thin, but it lasted for days!! At 2am, it looked like I had just gotten in done (despite getting it done 12 hours earlier). One of my bridesmaids has never had a hair style or curls last in her hair, but the day after the wedding, it looked like she had just gotten in done! All my girls said they want to use her when they get married! Marcella is the best and I can’t recommend her enough!

Marcella was amazing! I booked her back in 2019 for my 2020 wedding. I did 2 trials with her and she is the sweetest person ever! During the first trial we chatted the whole time as if we knew each other for years! I have thin hair and wanted to wear extension and she recommended a place for me to buy very affordable extensions which I have used many times now. I always wear my hair down but because I was getting married in July I was nervous with the weather so at the first trial we did 2 different updos. They were beautiful but I just didn't feel "myself" since I'm so used to my hair down! I booked Marcella for the wedding after the first trial because I could tell how talented she was and that she could really do anything. As the date got closer she did another trial for me with my hair down but to one side and it felt much more "me." Originally my wedding was July 2020 but with COVID we had to postpone the reception. Marcella was so supportive and flexible through this process. She seamlessly changed the date for me to our new postponement date AND she still came on our original date for our church ceremony to do my hair then too. Both wedding dates I had my hair mostly down and both dates it was humid and rained at some point during the day. Even considering this my hair did not budge! At our "big" wedding I did upgrade and have her come to the venue to touch me and my bridesmaids up before the ceremony because I was so nervous with the rain but I still think the hair would have stayed all night even if I didn't have her come to touch ups (although I must say for summer brides it gives you piece of mind to have hair and makeup come to the venue for touch ups... especially if its humid and raining). In addition to me she also styled my mom, mother in law and 5 bridesmaids hair, she brought an assistant Bianca who was talented as well. Everyone loved how their hair came out and were appreciative of the venue touch ups as well! She helped me make a schedule for the hair and makeup artists and on the day of she arrived on time and actually was ahead of schedule. She made sure to touch up everyone before left. She also help me calm down when I got upset because of the weather, she gave me a mini pep talk and told me everything will be beautiful no matter what the weather looks like... and she was absolutely right. Since first booking Marcella is 2019 I have also seen her multiple times for haircuts. I don't live that close to her but I really love how she listens to what you want. I also have anxiety with getting my hair cut and she really listens to me and does exactly what I want every time! Even though the wedding is over, I'm sure I will use Marcella in the future for more hair cuts, blow outs and special events!

Marcella was amazing to work with and I received so many compliments about my hair on my wedding day. When I had my trial, I told Marcella that I preferred to keep my curls and use them for an updo. In the past I have had issues having an updo with curly hair but Marcella was thrilled to use my curls and was able to keep my style by enhancing the curls. Marcella and her assistant were great on the day of the wedding and all of my bridal party raved that their hair stayed for the whole night. Marcella is not only an amazing at what she does, she’s also such a wonderful person to be around. I had a small bridal party getting ready with me and Marcella and her assistant really added so much to our day with their presence. It was non-stop laughter and took away so much of the stress I had been feeling. I have been in contact with her for years now but only met her in person in April for my trial. Marchella did an amazing job on my wedding day hair and makeup!!! She was super nice and friendly! I decided on a natural airbrush makeup. The makeup held up the entire night, even when wearing a mask!!! For the hair, I decided on old Hollywood style curls. Wow, they came out perfect!! The hair looked the exact same from the trial, and also held up the entire night!!! The day was slightly windy when taking pictures, however hair stayed in place!!! Marchella was always available when I emailed or texted her with my many questions. Overall, hair and makeup were on point all day!!! Hiring Marcella for my wedding day was the best decision I could have made! I have known Marcella since middle school, so when I started searching for a hair stylist, I was happy to see her name pop up. I could see from her Instagram page and reviews online, that she was very talented. Marcella was so friendly and easy to work with. Even through all of the chaos of Covid-19, which ended up with us changing both our date and bridal suite location, Marcella was incredibly flexible and accommodating. During my trial, Marcella styled my hair beautifully, but I felt that the style I chose didn’t really feel like “me”, so Marcella helped me change it to have the look I was going for, but more in line with my personality. I also have difficult texture to my hair, and usually have trouble styling it. I got my hair professionally done for prom and it was basically an awful frizzy poof so I was thrilled that Marcella knew how to work with my difficult hair, leaving it shiny, smooth, and sleek looking. I left feeling confident and beautiful, ready for the big day! We worked together to come up with a schedule for the morning of the wedding that would allow for hair and makeup to be done for each person without any overlaps. Day of, Marcella arrived on time and stuck to the schedule to make sure each bridesmaid was available to get their makeup done on time. All of my bridesmaids chose different styles and they all turned out absolutely gorgeous. My mom’s hair looked so glamorous and beautiful too! Marcella did my hair last with the hairstyle I liked from the trial. It looked so beautiful and really complimented my makeup and dress. Our wedding was on a hot day in August and our reception was outdoors. My hair held up the entire night! Even through all of the weather and dancing, not a single hair fell out of place or became frizzy. I took my hair out around 3:30am and it looked as if it had just been done. This is SO LATE but I just wanted to make I shared how wonderful Marcella is, regardless of how late. Marcella did my hair/makeup for my October wedding, and everything was just as I wanted. It was great to meet her for a trial beforehand, and she was so laid back and helpful. I had the trial done the day of my engagement pictures, which was a ridiculously windy day, and somehow my hair (which was down/curled, and curls ALWAYS fall out of my hair) was perfect for all of the pictures. During the prep for the wedding Marcella was responsive and flexible. She was a pleasure to work with on the day of--she felt like just one of the girls and helped to create a relaxed and fun environment. She was on time, and did a thorough and perfect job on everyone and has us ready ahead of schedule. I've NEVER been in a wedding where we weren't running behind with the hair and makeup so I was very impressed and relieved. My mom has MS, and was very ill in the weeks prior to the wedding. She was unable to come and join us at the location the girls were getting ready at, but I really felt it was important for her to have her hair and makeup done to feel pretty for the wedding. Marcella drove to a separate hotel to do my mom's hair and makeup once she was finished with my/the bridesmaid's hair/makeup. She was so kind to my mom and made her look her very best. Marcella is amazing! I will start off by saying that I think the most nerve-wracking part of wedding planning for me was who was going to do my hair.
