Gilbert just has an easy way about him and calmed some of the anxieties of the fiancés. They were very happy to hire him. During the wedding planning, Gilbert maintained constant contact and provided a very detailed questionnaire as to the music choices and to the role the couple wanted the DJ to play at the reception. He was quick to respond to any inquiry. In fact, we asked Gilbert to add on to his hours post contract signing and he was more than happy to accommodate the late request and made it happen. Arturo was our DJ for the ceremony and the reception. He did an amazing job seamlessly transitioning between 4 or maybe 5 different ceremony songs. He provided the requested classic crooner sounds during the cocktail hour. He got the entire group of guests up and clapping & dancing for the grand entrance of the wedding party and the newlyweds and then smoothly transitioned into getting all of the guests to the dance floor for a huge group photo! My only blip came during dinner service when the music was a bit too loud and a bit too rock & roll for that segment - while “give me three steps” by Lynyrd Skynrd might be a great dance tune, I would have preferred that Arturo stuck to the classic crooner sounds at a lower decibel during dinner service. But once the reception started, Arturo kept the energy up and our guests were on the dance floor the entire time. He graciously took and played requests! He announced all the special occasions with a lot of joy and excitement for the newlyweds. And he kept the music playing until the very last minute of the party! n excellent job for finding the music that people wanted to dance to. We also really appreciated that the music was an appropriate volume for the space. We've been to several weddings where the music was just too loud, so it's not enjoyable to be in the reception room and you aren't able to talk to others. Gilbert made it so that we could listen to music AND hear other people, and that made such a difference.

Throughout the evening, he was very responsive to our requests (type of music, level of sound, etc). He had an excellent playlist ready to go which got lots of people out on the dance floor. We most highly recommend Styles Dj services and will call on them again if we need Dj services in the future.

ollywood music, line dances and audio files for choreographed songs apart from our first dance and the parents’ dance.. and he delivered. Not just that, he seamlessly mixed all the different genres, read the crowd so well and had so many people on the dance floor till midnight. I think we even heard someone say “Encore!” behind me! And his emceeing was awesome too - he made folks laugh and popped in some directions during our La Marcha for some of us who were clueless on the moves 😊 so happy he was our DJ!
