nyone leading up to our big day. I even had to reach out to our coordinator to see if she was able to get a hold of anyone, which she was. I provided Gilbert with the requested itinerary form prior to our big day. We specifically added to not take guest song requests because we spent a lot of time putting together a whole spotify playlist. I also made a "must play" song list with our favorites we really wanted played. On the day of, guests were requesting songs and they were being played immediately. We had to check in with the DJ multiple times to make sure they had our playlist and "must play" song list due to random songs being played. I also requested to have "older" songs played initially for the older guests prior to them leaving our wedding. Some of these songs were dispersed throughout the evening which killed the vibes of the dance floor. Overall, we wish we were able to enjoy the dance floor more than worry about the actual songs being played.

the crowd/people and absolutely does that. He got everyone that stayed for the wedding reception to dance! He had all 60 people dancing at various points throughout the evening. The music was on point with what we listen to and dance to. The DJ is very personable and professional. He comes highly recommended from the venues he's worked with.

I’ve been to 3 weddings with DJ Styles, one being my own- he’s amazing experiencing him as both a guest and bride. In addition, his Photo Booth option is SO FUN and so easy!! You’ll get an adorable photobooth book with a copy of everyone’s photos at the end of the night as the sweetest keepsake. 10/10 recommend DJ Styles and his crew!

d easy for our young couple to relate to. He was kind, attentive to their questions and enthusiastic at the prospect of DJ’ing their wedding - he made them feel seen and heard. Gilbert just has an easy way about him and calmed some of the anxieties of the fiancés. They were very happy to hire him. During the wedding planning, Gilbert maintained constant contact and provided a very detailed questionnaire as to the music choices and to the role the couple wanted the DJ to play at the reception. He was quick to respond to any inquiry. In fact, we asked Gilbert to add on to his hours post contract signing and he was more than happy to accommodate the late request and made it happen. Arturo was our DJ for the ceremony and the reception. He did an amazing job seamlessly transitioning between 4 or maybe 5 different ceremony songs. He provided the requested classic crooner sounds during the cocktail hour. He got the entire group of guests up and clapping & dancing for the grand entrance of the wedding party and the newlyweds and then smoothly transitioned into getting all of the guests to the dance floor for a huge group photo! My only blip came during dinner service when the music was a bit too loud and a bit too rock & roll for that segment - while “give me three steps” by Lynyrd Skynrd might be a great dance tune, I would have preferred that Arturo stuck to the classic crooner sounds at a lower decibel during dinner service. But once the reception started, Arturo kept the energy up and our guests were on the dance floor the entire time. He graciously took and played requests! He announced all the special occasions with a lot of joy and excitement for the newlyweds. And he kept the music playing until the very last minute of the party! He also managed our epic rainstorm without a hitch and worked seamlessly with our photographers and wedding coordinators. We could not have asked for a better person to join us on our big day. n excellent job for finding the music that people wanted to dance to. We also really appreciated that the music was an appropriate volume for the space. We've been to several weddings where the music was just too loud, so it's not enjoyable to be in the reception room and you aren't able to talk to others. Gilbert made it so that we could listen to music AND hear other people, and that made such a difference.

Throughout the evening, he was very responsive to our requests (type of music, level of sound, etc). He had an excellent playlist ready to go which got lots of people out on the dance floor. We most highly recommend Styles Dj services and will call on them again if we need Dj services in the future.
