ou learn attending many weddings, some vendors are calm, cool, and collected, and others add to what is already a stressful time. Alyssa (hair stylist) and Aubrey (who handles all communication from Styles on B ahead of the actual wedding day) are both wonderful. Aubrey is a great communicator, clear about pricing, availability, and everything you need to know to make sure you and your bridal party are prepared to have your hair done the morning of the wedding. Alyssa is awesome. She styles your hair beautifully and is extremely efficient. She structures the day differently than some other stylists. She sets everyone’s hair first, so curls have time to take hold, and then finishes everyone’s hair after. She’s the first hair stylist I’ve seen who’s been able to get fine hair to hold its style most of the night. She’s very easy going and efficient, easily able to work around the makeup artists’ more rigid schedule. Somehow, despite having a relatively short window to do everyone’s hair, she always finishes early, able to do touch ups on everyone before heading out. She made everything feel easy and seamless throughout the whole time getting ready. I was glad to have a reference point ahead of my wedding to be so confident in Alyssa’s experience and hope I can do the same for anyone reading this here. I would recommend her highly and would choose her for our wedding again if given the chance!

Laureen was our stylist both for trial and day of, and had a mix of older and younger hair styles (and hair types!) to contend with. Not only did she do a FANTASTIC job, she is also a joy to talk to and a wonderful human being in general. The StylesOnB team was incredibly flexible and understanding given our multiple COVID reschedules and I cannot thank them enough for their patience and customer service from beginning to end. In addition to doing an AMAZING job on the entire bridal party (all of the girls wanted to know exactly what products and things she used because they were all so obsessed with their hair), Alyssa was also just such a great vibe to have in the bridal suite with us all day. AND on top of that, during an absurdly windy wedding day, she literally followed us around with our photographers during pictures to make sure every hair displaced by the wind ended up in the right spot :) Truly went above and beyond what I could have asked for in a wedding day hairstylist. NONE of them had to fix their hair the day of the wedding which is a testament to how incredible Alyssa is, one of their bridal stylists. If you can have her do your wedding hair, PLEASE do! Next, Aubrey, their admin was so on top of things, and made the process of working with them such a breeze (which I wish we could say about other wedding vendors). Alyssa is amazingly talented and so sweet. My hair (which is crazy curly and frizzy) has never looked better and it kept all night. My girls also looked incredible and I have to say I’m so impressed with how efficient and spot on with the timing of the morning prep the Styles on B team was! utiful up-dos. Everyone was thrilled with their final looks. I could not have been more pleased with how my hair turned out and received many compliments throughout the day. Laureen did a gorgeous half up half down look for me complete with curls, intricate designs and a stunning multi-part braid that lasted the entire evening. Communication was very easy and I always received an answer to my inquiries within a day, usually much faster. They were very patient and flexible as I added multiple ladies to the contract and additional hairstyle options. During my hair trial Laureen really listened to me and tried several hairstyles based on my inspirational photos. She was super friendly and efficient throughout the encounter, and I didn't feel rushed at all. She even agreed to speak with my mom and FaceTime with my MIL about their hairstyles during the same meeting. I really cannot recommend these lovely ladies enough!

e look I was going for. What I learned also about Laureen from being a bridesmaid this time was how efficient she was with her timing. She also was super attentive to the bride & making sure her hairstyle stood out as different next to us, which I thought made her a very thoughtful hair stylist. The following week I scheduled my hair trial with Laureen for my own wedding! Styles on B has a super cute intimate salon in NYC. I was confident I wanted an “up-do.” I loved how within the hour, Laureen must have showed me 5-8 different looks. After each look, she had me stand up and take a front view, left & right side view, & back view picture. I later received all these images in a Google folder that same night. I ended up doing a second trial with Laureen at a later date because when I did finalize my dress, the up-do type look did not match as well in my opinion & was amidst almost a panic. But once I sat in Laureen’s chair, she washed away all my nerves. She saw my dress & got it- she knew exactly what to do!!! Like the first hair trial, Laureen showed me 5-8 different variations of a new look & took pictures after each round. It was just outstanding to see her work her magic & it all came together! My hair matched my dress & with these new options, all my fears vanished. I felt beautiful & like a bride! Logistically, Aubrey was a queen behind the computer. She was my contact person to get my wedding trial appointments scheduled, hair appointment for engagement pictures shoot scheduled and re-scheduled with rain delays, & she could not have been more kind, prompt, accommodating, & helpful when it came to navigating and problem-solving my wedding-day specifics, location, timing, & more along the way. She was seriously awesome & deserves a medal for responding to all my excessive emails. Between Aubrey & Laureen, I trusted everything was going to work out so smoothly the day of my wedding & it certainly did! Laureen and Scarlett (Second stylist) arrived early the day of my wedding day & between 8:15am-12:30pm, both styled my hair & 12 others. I paid for Laureen to stay with me additional time during the day & it was BEYOND worth it!!! Like worth every penny! She was able to do my flower girls hair on-venue location too, & there to provide touch-ups before & after first-look and most importantly after an hour and a half of pictures & before our ceremony. This was absolutely invaluable given the wind!! Overall, Laureen has this balance of providing that calm that you need on your wedding day complimented by excellent time-management and communication skills efficiently asserting herself when necessary to get her important job done working alongside everyone else too! She is a professional, a leader, & an artist in every sense of those words! She also is super fun, laid-back & easy-going, and honestly 100% there for you. I literally could not imagine my wedding day without her as a person & hair stylist. I trusted her and she really took care me & delivered for everyone!! Everyone was beyond satisfied with their hair style! I wish Laureen could be in my life every single day to do my hair!! I felt so good heading into the wedding, fully confident I looked like the best version of myself. She was also able to incorporate two of my bridesmaids’ hair extensions super easily, making them look completely natural. And as for me, my hair was exactly how I envisioned it would be when I got married. It was so glamorous but not overdone. The whole team is just incredibly lovely. On wedding day, Alyssa made me and my Maid of Honor feel right at ease and we chatted about the holidays and our hometowns. Our final hairstyles were absolutely perfect: natural, flowy, and light. I can't say enough about this salon. Stop reading and book them!

other in law all had incredibly different vibes for their hair and Laureen took it all in stride ensuring everyone thought they looked awesome. She took extra time and care with me and not one hair was out of place when she finished. I also chose to do some extensions to create more fullness in my updo and she and the Styles on B team matched my hair and actually had extensions that matched for me on site so she just brought them with her on the day of - so, so easy. After a night of dancing away, my hair still looked amazing. I was sad to take it down at 3AM after a long night of celebrating! So happy we went with Laureen and Styles on B. They're phenomenal!

I was with Laureen and I can’t say enough good things. Laureen was just AAAMAZING!!!! She did exactly what I asked for and even better than what I had imagined. Her hands are really magic I kid you not, after she was done when I looked in the mirror I couldn’t believe that was me. I was sooooo in love with my hair on the day and it looks absolutely amazing in my wedding photos. She also made all of my bridesmaids happy with their hairstyles and did exactly what everyone wanted/was comfortable with. They all looked beautiful. She knows exactly what she is doing, she’s highly skilled, very calm and patient and she gives you great advice on how to come up with beautiful looks. My wedding hair trial was exactly what I needed – they did multiple styles and took pictures with an HD camera which they sent to me. I was able to look at all of the styles and really think about what would work best on my wedding day. My hair and bridesmaids hair looked romantic, ethereal and so elegant. So many people told me how much they loved my bridal look I am so so happy that I worked with them and I hope I can again in the future.

Styles on B and it was the best decision! It was a last minute booking (two weeks before the wedding!) so I was so lucky and grateful they found a way to fit me in not only for a trial but for the actual wedding day, where I wanted a whole gaggle of women to get their hair done in my hotel suite. The salon was kind and accommodating and easy to work with for the planning from start to finish. I had the pleasure of having Laureen do my hair -- she is the BEST! I came into the salon for my consultation and she sat me down and offered me some whisky since I looked stressed. Heaven. She further de-stressed me by clearly understanding what I wanted and why it had been hard to achieve in prior trials (a messy pony is apparently a very hard look to get right!?) Then she worked her magic and I was so happy and sold. She did two things I appreciated in that trial that no other stylist had done (aside from offering me the whisky which was amazing) -- she actually put in hair extensions in to volumize the pony, instead of simply saying that I could later go out and buy extensions if I wanted and would need to imagine what it would look like on the day of; and she took photos with the salon's digital camera (not a phone) for herself to remember what we had done. This extra level of thought and care meant so much. Not to mention that Laureen is just the coolest, I felt comfortable and confident in her skills and enjoyed every moment with her. Huge thanks to Laureen!! Laureen and Aja came to the hotel on the big day, and they were a total treat to have with us, and all the women were thrilled with their hair. I am so grateful to Laureen, Aja and Styles of B for everything!!

trials (to be sure of my look), however Laureen put me completely at ease confidently producing a perfect wedding look that I absolutely loved and fit my vision to a T. I should also add that I ran into some health issues leading up to my wedding that caused a lot of my hair to fall out in addition to becoming quite brittle. I was extremely worried as I thought I wouldn’t have enough hair to do an updo. I wasn’t feeling like I’d be a beautiful bride. Fear not, Laureen came to my rescue! She was able to use hair extensions to fill in where I’d lost hair and you couldn’t even tell. She recommended a store where I could go to match the extensions to my hair. I went and they matched it PERFECTLY, I was shocked. I have a very difficult hair color to match, it’s a multi-toned medium dirty blonde. Laureen did my hair for both my rehearsal dinner and my wedding using the extensions and I was beyond impressed. I felt confident and beautiful despite my hair issues and the styles held up perfectly. Though my wedding and ceremony were indoors we took pictures in central park in 80 degree heat and humidity and my hair and all of my bridesmaids stood up to the weather, everyone looked fantastic. Laureen is not only a talented hair-stylist, but a great person to work with. She was so fun and upbeat the entire day and extremely professional. This helped keep everyone at ease and enjoying themselves. The staff at StylesOnB is also amazing. Aubrey was quick to respond to emails and all of my questions, thank you!

will exceed your expectations. Let me put this out there; I was the crazy-type bride and did a few trials lol. But each time, Stacy not only remained kind and patient with me, but she is extremely calm and focused when she's working on you! She truly made my wedding hair vision come true. I'm still baffled how it stayed the whole night. Let me put this in perspective for you. My husband and I are EDM lovers so requested our DJ play 100% EDM the entire night. My husband and I were head banging the entire night (I'm not kidding) and not even one piece of my low updo came out...and yes, I'm a sweater! And shout out to Aubrey - oh my gosh, you are awesome :) I was so annoying this entire year; I had millions of questions. Aubrey was not only super responsive, but was always so kind with her smiley emails! She also never misses a detail! Hands down, she really calmed me down this entire year lol.
