I walked in to look at dresses, tried on a lot (Ebby was great at finding more dresses for me to try on and showing me different takes on the styles I was drawn to), and left with my wedding dress and veil! I couldn't have had a better experience. Affordable dresses but a lot of variety for a smaller sized shop. The incredible service truly made the whole day perfect. I'm so happy I ventured here!

Thank you thank you thank you Sue Ames! All because of social media I have my perfect dress for a great price. I was searching for a particular designer's line locally through twitter, and Sue Ames reached out and let me know that they could get the dress for me for a discounted rate, better than anywhere else I tried. And that was right. I went down to Delaware, found & fell in love with a dress from the designer I liked, got sized locally and made the purchase over the phone with Sue Ames. A few short months later, I got the call that my dress was in! I drove up from Philly and my dress was waiting for me-stunning! This was the first time I'd been in the shop. The woman working that day was very very nice (as was everyone I dealt with over the phone, facebook, twitter). She let me try it on and helped me, and was super sweet as well. Philly brides, you don't need to just shop at the pricey boutiques, see what Sue Ames can do for you!

While the facility that houses the dresses leaves something to be desired, the dresses are as good as anything at any other salon, and the prices are INCREDIBLE! Ebby (manager) is so kind and is willing to offer her honest opinion when asked for it. She really helped me make the final decision on my dress and I couldn't be happier! The turnaround time between order and receipt was very quick. The only drawback is that tailoring is not offered directly through Sue Ames, and you must store your dress on your own after it comes into the store. My 4-star overall rating is 4 instead of 5 only because of the appearance of the store. Everything else is a 5 all the way!

Very affordable dresses. The invidual who assisted me was super nice and helpful even though I had not made an appointment ahead of time. I will say that there is not an extremely large selection of dresses but what they have is very affordable.

I loved coming here. They were absolutely amazing with making me feel comfortable and at home in the shop. The location isn't the best, but once you walk in the doors its a place you will love. The staff are outstanding, friendly, considerate and patient. They will help find the perfect dress even if you don't know it exists. They were patient with my many visits to show different branches of my family the dress and considerate with finances.
